Description of Work: They took care of the water softener and sump pump. The checked the water, the salt and all of that.

Description of Work: They put a sump pump in and they set it up to go off whenever it's supposed to. They also looked at the hot water heater. He changed the filter and did something with some of the settings.

Description of Work: Installed Culligan Gold Series Automatic Water Conditioner. The system was installed in a professional manner and no problems were encountered during the process. The sales rep followed up in a couple of days to insure the system was operating properly.

Description of Work: Checked the soft water unit and replaced the seal kit, sub assembly, screen and nozzle. Also added sanitizer / resin cleaner.

Description of Work: Installed a water softener and a whole house water filter. The salesman and customer service agents were very nice and professional. They installed a by-pass valve around the water filter for my outside hose bibs at no additional charge. Our deal came with an extra year of salt (10 x 40 lb bags). The piping for the job was not as precise as I would have liked but adequate for "rough" work. The installer's disposition was a bit too familiar for my liking. It was a bit awkwards and peculiar. All-in-all, I would use Culligan again and would recommend them.

Description of Work: I bought a very expensive water softening system from Reynolds Culligan and they sold me on a water conditioning system as well. I went for top of the line for both because I wanted hassel free systems which would last for many years as well as reliable customer service. I have my water softner maintained by the company and the salt deliveries as well. The relatively new ( 5 years) and expensive system broke because of a "leak" which filtered into the system due to a faulty seal. The charge, if I recall, was over $500.00. I could not believe I was being charged due to a faulty seal which leaked into a very expensive motor system, so I called Culligan corporate office. They covered the fee, but I must say that not everyone working at Reynold's was on top of things. I believe it was the manager who maintained that I was responsible (the company is paid periodically by me to come and check the system, they never once mentioned anything about faulty seals). It was encouraged to stay with Reynolds after an apology by upper management, and will do so, but please be aware that their highly senstive and sophisticated systems have a large responsibility placed upon the owner, which in the future, I will not be willing to accept. My mistake was in thinking the more expensive, top of the line products would be more effective; to the contrary. As a company, Reynold's is very reliable and customer oriented. The gals answering the phones are efficient and concerned. Just beware of purchasing products which can be too sophisticated. While Reynold's stood behind their products, I am not sure that 5 more years down the line I will be treated as well once the seals leak again. Will they check for that in the future? And why should I even have to worry about such a thing, considering I purchased their best product available? I was hoping to get at least 10 years worth of water softening hassel free, possibly even 20. Culligan came through this time, but I will shudder at their name brand next I go to purchase any water treatment system. Reynold's, their representative, is a good company at any rate, and I would recommend them for other plumbing needs. Resolution to my problem came swiftly, and I am grateful for that. I will remain a faithful Reynold's customer.
