The new ProVia storm door is beautiful, but I can't even open it half-way before it strikes my hanging front door light. This issue was never raised by the sales person who came to measure my front door. When the installers arrived, they identified the issue, but they told me the light fixture could be raised to accommodate the new storm door. It was only AFTER installation that I was told the light fixture could not be raised sufficiently, and I needed a new one. Basically, I cannot use my front door until I buy a new light fixture and hire an electrician to install it.

I had a new storm door installed by ABE Doors and Windows. I knew they do quality work as I had a new Bilco door installed several years ago. I am very pleased with the quality of the storm door and the professional installation. Best door I have had in the 45 years in my home. I highly recommend ABE Doors and Windows.

Despite the fact we went to another contractor, ABE Windows was a good contractor to work with. Tom was my salesperson and he was quick to respond, professional, and worked on multiple scenarios. In the end I decided to go with a competitor that provided a slightly better price and a superior lifetime warranty.

Always dependable and always reliable, we have used ABE for over 40 years. They are a bit pricey, but the reliability and skilled workmen who perform the job properly and stand behind it, is worth it.

Chris, the installer, was on time for the job. He listened while I asked a few questions and made a few requests. He was extremely pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable. The job was done in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes; Chris asked that I listen to his safety review and directions for operation, after which he answered any questions I had. I was provided with all necessary paperwork and Chris departed for his next job. Additionally, Shannon, their secretary/office worker was pleasant on the telephone the few times that we spoke. This is the first time that I have dealt with A.B.E. and they were professional in every way. I highly recommend this company.

Installers, Chris and his co-worker did a great job of installing our new front door and super clean-up afterwards. Chris was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions pertaining to the installation and with helpful tips to maintain the door years down the line.

Couldn't ask for a better installation. It wouldn't go in from the outside so they brought the window in and installed it from the inside. Got here at 8am, cleaned up and gone by 2:30pm. Very pleased.

Wrok went very smooth. I had some concerns about scheduling because I needed to take time off of work to get his done. Their scheduling people gave me a solid date to start the project and kept it. they even called a few times to make sure the time was still good for me. The crew showed up on time and got straight to work. I was told the project could take 3 days. They had it done in 2. The crew was very professional,, they did a fine job on the installs. Cleaned up after themselves and were friendly and courteous.

We had a custom storm door installed on our new condo this past Saturday. The installer arrived on time and called in advance. The installation went as well as expected, with the door frame not square and the mounting area of the door frame, made of foam plastic-no wood. The installer was excellent, he made sure that at least the storm door was straight and installed properly. I would have given up on the task, and thrown in the towel. Not this installer, he was excellent, patient, did not lose his temper and used his many years in the business to make sure we were satisfied with the end result. The door works well and looks great, as expected. He repaired our basement door, fixing the sill plate, the vinyl door base gasket and even the dead bolt and spring latch strike plate. Again, the new home builders are shameful, they must not know how to use a square or level, since both the main door and the basement door are out of square. I never had a bad installation by A.B.E. Door and Window, and this Saturday was not exception. Job Well Done under difficult circumstances, a condo cheaply built! I would use them again, without a doubt!

We contacted ABE Doors and Windows at the beginning of April 2014 for a door estimate. An appointment for an estimate was scheduled for April 25, 2014. The salesman arrived on time, measured our door, and showed us some options. Once we selected a few configurations, we were given a ball park figure of $7500, but were told that we'd hear back in a few weeks regarding the actual costs, and scheduling an instillation. It's September 1, 2014 and we still haven't heard from ABE Doors and Windows. Fortunately, in May, we gave up waiting and decided to go with another reputable door supplier. Our door was installed last month, and we couldn't be happier. Based on our experience with ABE, we do not recommend them.

The whole process worked out very well. They were wonderful and did an excellent job.

My aluminum screen door was binding and not closing properly. The repairman from A.B.E. Doors diagnosed the issue and repaired the storm door and adjusted its closing tension. The inner insulated steel door was binding on the sill plate. He adjusted the door and fixed the door sweep. The door knob was very lose and he repaired that, along with the closing seal of the door frame. The repairman from A.B.E. was very professional, and polite, and he knew his trade very well. He did not waste time and cleaned up when he was finished. He even took time to caulk the seal on my front steel door, which will help with winter drafts. All in all I am very pleased with the service and would recommend and call them again for my door and window needs. Thank You, and it was a Five Star Experience.

l asked for quotes on a garage door and on a new rear exit door for my house. Their quotes were very high. I didn't use this company. ABE Doors and Windows sells quality products. It's a shame that they price themselves out of the market. I bought the same garage door that they quoted for $400 less at another firm.

They showed up on time and completed the job very quickly.

Repairman replaced broken spring and we had him replace the other one figuring we should just have two new springs. He was done in less than 90 minutes.

They guy who came was very professional. He did a really good job. He took his time on doing the job and everything went on schedule. The price was pretty good.
