Bright Light Electric is, by far, the best contractor I have ever booked through Angie.  They responded to my request within seconds of my posting on Angie.  They were able to come out the same day and not only give me an estimate that was very acceptable but also gave me a quick electrical education.  Sumit with his men, Carl and Dave were awesome.  Here?s the sequence of my request.  Thursday requested on Angie, Sumit called me immediately and came out to see me 2 hours later. Sumit gave me a great quote to replace my old 1959 100-amp service with a 200-amp service. Friday Sumit had obtained the permit from my township, mind you the permit process normally takes a week, but Sumit and his quality work is so well known, he had the permit in less than a day. Saturday, Sumit, Dave, and Carl showed up at 9 am, right on time, and started working right away.  Not only are they extremely professional, but they are easy to talk with and educated me along the way.  Now being a retired Marine, I was impressed with their efficiency and focus on getting the job done, on time when they said they would finish.  Also, all along the way they checked in with me to make sure what they were doing was completely acceptable.  No detail was too small for them to ensure I was good with everything they were doing.  If you need electrical service, go no further, CALL THEM immediately, they will give you a great price, and perform the work exactly as they detail.  Payment was also extremely easy.  What a great team, I will use them as my go-to electrical team for everything I need going forward.  I trust them completely.  

Extremely disappointed in the work done by RS Bright Light at my home in June of 2024 for three reasons: 1) While installing recessed lights in my den they totally trashed the room. My laptop, desk, printer, couch, TV cabinet, TV, remaining furniture and floor where completely covered in ceiling drywall pieces and dust. Totally unacceptable that they did not take 10 minutes up front to cover the space in disposable plastic sheeting that cost less than $10 at Home Depot. It took me three hours to clean up the mess they made. We have been in our house for 24 years and used many contractors over the years. Never once have we had a contractor have such total disrespect for our personal property until RS Bright Light came along. As a side note had to hire a drywall specialist after their work to fix the ceiling drywall. 2) They installed a light switch the wrong way round. I asked them to fix on the day of the work but it did not get fixed. Then on three separate occasions they agreed to come back to fix and never showed up. Had to hire another electrician to come fix. 3) On the day of the project they were late and rushed. Ended up showing up three hours late. I had to initiate communication on where were they. Once they were here they rushed the work and thus part of the reason for items 1 and 2 above. The owner seems to think RS Bright Light can do no wrong but in our case it was a poor experience and I will never hire them again.

Called me in literally one minute. Showed up in an hour. Did the work flawlessly within an hour. And was nice AND funny AND smartâ ¦which should count double. ð
