Gsell Tree Service

I called Dave (the owner) late in the morning on a Tuesday and he returned my call early afternoon the same day. We set up a time for later that evening for Dave to come take a look at my trees. Tuesday evening Dave came, looked at my trees and gave me a written quote of $400 for the work. Since both my next-door neighbors recommended Gsell Tree Services, I said, "Let's do it." Dave told me he'd see me Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday afternoon Dave and his crew show up and get to work. They removed the dead branches from my trees, chipped them up, raked, and swept. As a matter-of-fact, because it's fall and the trees are dropping their leaves, Dave's crew left my yard much nicer than they found it. Great job all around by Dave and Gsell Tree Services!

David took care of everything very quickly. He did an excellent job. A lot of people I called wouldn't even come ot touch the limb! David took care of it before the second ice storm hit.

GSELL did a great job. They were very professional and clean. they also made sure that my neighbors yards were clean. They did more then what I thought they would do . My tree looks great . Not like the hack job peco did to the front of my tree. I would recommend GSELL to anyone that needs tree service work. Thanks Dave

Dave Gsell is a highly professional, knowledgeable tree expert. This was our second job that we hired Gsell to do, and we could not e happier with the service that we received. Dave gave us thoughtful advice, and was very communicative about his progress with our job, as well as his proposed times to come look at the tree, and to work on it. The tree looks so much better and healthier.

Very professional and prompt. Did an excellent job and cleaned up all remains. Also, very timely as a storm was predicted (and actually did come) and Mr. Gsell was able to prioritize my job and keep tree from blowing down onto my house. I am using him again this year to trim up a large beech tree. I highly recommend Dave Gsell.

They got back to me within a day of my contacting them for a quote. The quoted price was half that of another highly-rated tree service company I contacted via Angie's List. They couldn't do the work immediately but it wasn't an emergency and they came out when they said they would. The tree, which had already fallen over, was chopped up within an hour and they did a great job of cleaning up all the twigs and leaves in the area.

He is an excellent guy. He came right away because it was an emergency. The prices were great too!

Dave promised to call a couple days before his crew could get to the job and said it would take one day to remove the tree and he would need to return to grind out the stump. The work was done as promised and completed on time. I really liked the fact that Dave spent time explaining why the tree was dying and wasn't pushy about the need to have it removed. They did the work with minimal disruption to my family and neighbors which was another important factor since the tree bordered a neighbors yard.

I will use them again in the future.

gsell made an appointment to give an estimate on sat. morning at 9:30 -- showed up at 9:30!!! --spent about a half hour looking over the project gave me the estimate with several options, cutting down or cutting back with different prices. He aggreed to do the work the following week. I was called the night before and asked if an 8am start time would be ok. The crew of five arrived at 8am. with a crane and bucket truck and spent most of the day -as these were big trees. I AM REALLY IMPRESSED WITH GSELL TREE SERVICE!

A neighbor recommended Dave Gsell to me citing his prices. I had him trim a tall tree back from my next door neighbor's house and shape it up. He also removed a major branch on a specimen Japanese Maple that was growing low over the sidewalk and limbed up the rest of the tree. I was nervous about how this tree would look when I got home later that day. Dave did a fantastic job on it. The tree looks beautiful and I was so pleased with it that I called Dave and left him a message about his great work. It was a no-brainer to call him again this spring to remove the world's ugliest fir tree for a very reasonable price.

We have worked with him before. He lives very close to us, in our neighborhood. When we call, he comes over right away. He is timely in getting the work done. He does the work very quickly. As a tree service company, they aren't necessarily unique, but they give good service. We have had them take down a 50-foot tree before. His prices are really competitive.

He does a great job. He charges different things for different services.
