John came the same day I called to inquire about a replacement A/C unit. He quoted us a price and we asked him to schedule the install. He scheduled the work for the next week. Rob and Skip showed up at 3:00 pm and finished around 8:00 pm. After they left we had a couple minor issues with our unit which I contribute to their long work day in the heat. I called John and he sent Rob the next day to take care of the problems. They were all very courteous and Rob and Skip were very good workers. I would highly recommend them.

John and his crew, Rob and Skip, were professional, efficient, thorough and courteous. They finished a three-day job in less than two, left the house clean, answered my questions before they left and their price beat my other estimate by a lot.

If you want to hire a pro, do yourself a favor and call JP Heating & Air Conditioning. Not only did John provide a service; he provided a solution. John and his team installed an energy efficient AC system and a new propane furnace, and hooked everything into our existing full house generator. We had previously obtained a quote from another well known vendor, and had we gone with that vendor, we would have ended up with a second rate A/C system for a comparable cost. Instead, we hired John and ended our dependence upon oil, have an energy efficient system and now have year round affordable comfort in our home. I would not hesitate recommend!

John and Robert were incredible. Phone calls are returned promptly. They don't try to sell you something you need. When all was said and done the heat pump and the unit in the attic both needed to be changed. Everything was explained as to why they had to be changed. A family member installed the system, left parts out, and basically hacked the job. They stayed until the job was done and cleaned everything up. They have earned my agreement to a yearly maintenance plan. I will hire them again....and again....and again....

John came on a saturday morning and gave estimate at no charge. His crew showed up on time, were courteous, professional, and cleaned up the mess when they were finished. Will talk to John about some questions and issues about the install when time allows. Would definatley recommend them to anyone

I have to go against the majority opinion here. I suspect this company is just fine if there are no problems. But if something goes wrong, beware. I needed to replace an old heat pump. Here's what happened. I hired this company based entirely upon the reviews on Home Adviser. I wanted the best. Why? Because I know absolutely nothing about HVAC. I hired him based on his reviews and I did not even negotiate with him. When he first stopped by he told me exactly what I needed and we made a fast deal. As I said, I know nothing about these systems and I was depending upon his knowledge and expertise. Everything goes smoothly until the new heat pump is installed. But when the installer flips the switch to turn it on for the first time, the house sounds like an airplane. We're talking whooshing, whining and rumbling . He looks shocked and goes back and adjusts the fan on the system. Nothing changes. He adjusts the fan once more and there is hardly any difference. He finally says that he cannot adjust the fan any further without compromising the system. He claims that the problem is the size of my air vents but that the loud noise will go away once the house warms up. My house is a very nice modern house built in 1996 and has standard air vents so I was baffled by his explanation. That night, every time the system kicked in the whole house would shake. The dog would start barking. I couldn't sleep. I called John the next day and said that I did not think I could live with this and that something needed to be done. John stopped by and the first thing he said was that any other HVAC installer would not have come by and that I should consider myself lucky. After investigating the situation he determined that the problem was a lack of a couple of dampers in the venting system. The new system fan was too powerful for the existing duct work. When I asked what it would cost to fix this he said about 2-300 dollars. I said fine. Let's do it. He said he would get back to me in 2 weeks. I never did hear back from him but since it was getting warmer out the system wasn't kicking on that much and I could live with it. I figured I would contact him when the weather got cold once again. In the summer the system had a blockage that flooded the basement. He sent his installer over to fix it and he promised me that they would contact me about the duct work. Again I never heard from them. In the Fall I called to remind him about the duct work. We set up an appointment. The night before I called him and he cancelled because someone had an accident (which I am very sorry about)> He said he would get back to me but never did. I finally gave up and found that by removing all of the air intake screens in my house cut down a lot of the noise and that is how I survived winter. Finally John had told me that I would be thrilled and amazed at how much my electricity bill would go down with this new system. I just found out that the syste

The owner of the company (John) is very professional and courteous and follows up throughout the installation process. John also makes sure all of my questions and concerns are answered. My recommendations were given consideration, if feasible were implemented. His employees are careful, respectful and clean. They also updated me throughout the project and requested my preference when changes needed to be made. Couldn't be happier with the professionalism and job well done. P.S. They were always on time.

Adam arrived first thing in the morning figured out the problem quickly. He had to run out for the part and was back in less than an hour. He was able to have it back running in no time. Adam is very good at explaining how and why the problem happened. This is the third time I have used JP Heating over the last 5 years and I'm very pleased with their services.
