Fireside Chimney Service

I would definitely hire this company again. They were prompt and courteous. They inspected both chimneys and cleaned the one with a large buildup. They cleaned the area where they were working and you would not have known they removed chimney soot. I would definitely hire them again, if needed, and will recommend them to my friends. Considering they traveled here to York County from Lancaster County and for the time they spent here I was completely satisfied with the cost of their service.

Fireside repaired my chimney, repaired/repointed bricks in several areas, cleaned my dryer duct and other little jobs. They quoted the job quickly and thoroughly, contacted me quickly to set up a date to do the services, were there when they said they would be, were very polite and social, and cleaned up after the fact. Josh came out right away to look at the job and give me an estimate. Even though I didn't need to be home for the work to be completed, he was in constant communication throughout the job to let me know when he would be there. It was a small job but he took the extra time to make sure the work was done correctly, very professional. I would highly recommend using him for any chimney service or masonry work.

Josh was very professional, he did a great job, was very polite and had a lot of information for us for future work on our chimney which we greatly appreciated. Originally, Fireside Chimney Service was called to perform a chimney inspection for a house sale. During the chimney inspection, it was noted that the chimney needed cleaning (that I knew...it had been years of no use) and the mortar on the crown was cracked and needed repair. The cost for cleaning was minimal as this was only the difference from the chimney inspection vs cleaning cost and the cost to prepare the crown was extremely reasonable. Before and after photos were provided.

Josh was very thorough in his initial evaluation of the project and continued to be very detailed and thorough during the job. The weather was not good and the project lasted about 7 weeks, however Josh remained patient and did the job the right way in waiting for the proper weather necessary to do the work. I appreciated his commitment and dedication!

I recently needed my firesplace/chimney cleaned. After calling around for prices, I decided to go with Fireside Chimney Service. While they were cleaning and inspecting the chimney they found that i desperately needed a new chimney liner. I am more than pleased and extremely satisfied! they were very knowledgable, nice, and did an amazing job. I definitely would and will use them again and i highly recommend!
