 + -1 moreIt was a horrible experience. We hired this person. We had a signed contract for a complete garage. We also had a complete material list of what was to be included. He did approximately 20,000. worth of work and never came back. All we got was a shell. No siding, no roof, no materials to complete the job. He didn't pay for trusses and he didn't pay the subcontractor he hired to dig the footer. He ripped us off. He lied to our face and said he ordered the materials, never to be seen again. I did an interview on Channel 4 Action News about this. The work that was done was shoddy. Stay away from this person. Make sure you only give money for the services done. According to PA law this is a civil matter because he started the job. Even though we were ripped off 32,000. So buyer beware. It is sad that our laws protect criminals.

 + -1 moreIt was a nightmare. To lose 32,000. is a horrible experience. We would have had to sue him civilly and would get nothing, except high lawyer fees. Also, in Pennsylvania the Consumer Protection Law is a joke. This not being a criminal act is a crime in itself.
Description of Work: We had a signed contract for a complete 3 car garage. Patsy started the job. The job total was 60,000. he received 52,000. He did approximately 20,000. worth of work. He left the job, never to return. He hired subcontractors that he never paid. The work he did was shoddy and very unprofessional. Sad to say, we never received a refund. Our attorney said we could sue but Mr. Marano was filing bankruptcy. There is a link from Channel 4 Action News. We had Paul VanOsdol do a news story.
