Martin Harrison is extremely professional. The work on my bathroom is beautiful! Out of the blue I asked him to do small projects in my kitchen, and family room. His employees as well as Martin are extremely professional! I will absolutely would hire, and give him accolades for any recommendations!

Both jobs exceeded my expectations. The quality of the work, professionalism of the work force, and reliability of all workers involved left nothing to be desired. These two additions add significantly to the value and appearance of my house as well as to my daily enjoyment of same.

Martin and his crew are extremely professional and courteous. We have hired them for multiple contracts now, and have a few more we are planning in the near future. Martin was extremely flexible when the project plans changed the night before one of our jobs was scheduled to start. The work his team does is of the highest quality and I would absolutely recommend Martin and his team for any general contracting work you have!

It did not go well. I bought my home and the sellers did not disclose the roof was leaking. The rood itself was "newer" put on in 2004 and I bought the home in 2014. During home inspection I saw a water stain in one of the bedrooms but my home inspector assured me this was "very old" and that the roof was new and no worries. He stated the water stain was from before the new roof. I trusted my Home Inspector and that was my mistake. I ended up buying the house. The first issue was bad sewer line that was also not disclosed. It took about a month living in the house but the first good down pour and sure enough that water stain I saw was completely soaked. It was in the same exact spot I saw and it was very damp. I had 4 independent roofers come out and they all said the same thing without knowing one another nor me saying anything. What they said is the roof was installed wrong. When you lay down shingles you are suppose to nail 6 inches in from the end of the shingle. In my case the roofers nailed it 1/2 inch to 1 inch in from the end of the shingle. After 5+ years when it is down this way they split with the hot and cold, allowing water to get in-between and thus having a leaky roof. This is exactly what happened to my roof. The one roofer even said you get this typically 5-10 years when they are put on this way and he did not know the install date of my roof. The sellers are ignoring my follow up to them not disclosing and my neighbors told me the roofer that put it on- Martin Harrison Contr. I called Matin Harrison 4 to 5 times within a course of a year and he always said he come out to no unveil. in the meantime I hired a roofer to patch the roof which worked but then ended up having two more leaks in the winter. Again Harrison Contracting never followed up nor showed up when they said they would. Finally in the spring a got a few estimates from the roofers to replace the roof. This ended up with me in a lawsuit with the sellers. I called Harrison Contracting telling do not worry about coming out as I have someone replacing the roof. I did give them a heads up that the previous sellers might contact them as we were in a lawsuit and might call them for a warranty etc.....within 10 minutes I got a call back from Martin. I was shocked how quickly I was returned a phone call. I explained the situation to Martin and he did offer to come out and fix the roof in good faith. By this time however the roof was patched and I needed a whole new roof as it was installed incorrectly and would continue to have issues. I explained this to Martin but he said he would patch the roof but not replace it. At this point he admitted he got out of the roofing portion of the business about 8-9 years ago. I then asked why he was offering to patch the roof or give me an estimate before on a new roof. He said out of good faith but overall that was not a solution. I should also note that Martin Harrison remembered the house I am in (he did other job in the house for the previous owners) and stated he did put on the roof. Today I finally got a new roof put on by a real roofing company that patched the roof previously and explained the issue to me in detail. I felt like I needed to write this to warn others because overall I just wish people did the right thing the first time.
