Service Rep Mo (Mobin) was fantastic - I have found my new HVAC company. A/C died in the midst of a nasty heat wave. Initially scheduled for 2 days out, they called to let me know a cancellation freed them up for an appt. less than 24 hours after I called. The part needed (fan motor) had to be shipped from Illinois - it was here and working the next morning! Clean, quick, courteous - total pros the whole way.

Scheduled an appointment but no one showed up.

Got right to work,professional and pleased with result. Competitive pricing. Would recommend and hire again.

As always Chris showed up as promised, performed the job I asked for, and remembered to close the gate. We have been using Kinkaid since they said they could fix a furnace others wanted to replace. It lasted at least another ten years.

.He ended up blowing the fuse on the handler but blamed it on the thermostat that he said he didnt like because he knew nothing about the new Nest type thermostat. He walked away still charging me for work that he did nothing to remedy the situation so I called the Nest thermostat people and they told me how to check everything out and since I replaced the fuse on the handler that he had shorted out while working on the unit it worked fine. Of course the problem was that the wires had to be switched in the thermostat to switch on the a/c from heat but that was it and when he shorted the fuse the thermostat didn't work at all. The tech even called me later to suggest that I look at the fuse which I already had repaired. He should have made the attempt to diagnose the problem instead of blaming it on the thermostat. It is my view that when new technology comes out the techs that service these things should be more knowledgeable about them instead of blaming it on them

John A Kinkaid are very prompt. They did the whole job in one day. They were very professional and cooperative in giving me information for a rebate. Their price is also good. I am recommending them to my neighbors.

We had a wonderful experience with Kinkaid. Chris was extremely kind and helpful throughout the process. He spoke to me many times leading up to the installation, and he always took the time to answer all my questions. Barbara and the other woman from the office(I forget her name- sorry!) were also very helpful. They went above and beyond in a situation I was having with my old furnace. I was able to schedule an estimate quickly, and Chris sent a detailed proposal the next day. Their pricing was reasonable and we were able to install that same week. Chirs and Mike showed up on time the day of the install, and put down runners so they would not track dirt through the house. They were very professional and took the time to explain what they had done. I would highly recommend them. Thanks Kinkaid!

It went very well. They were very punctual, friendly and cleaned up well after themselves. They were also very patient and answered any questions I had.

They came out right away and did a thorough inspect of what needed to be done and explained what options there were. I had 5 estimates done and they were right in the middle for price and quality.

Same day e-mail reply to a late Saturday afternoon e-mail request with information about services and costs . Same day service following Monday morning call requesting service. Total cost for the service provided was consistent with that of previously used heating and air conditioning company which is no longer in business.

.They came with two guys and left quite a mess. Also they did not talk to me about lifting the core furnace and everything on to the floor on my basement. I think they should have told me that it should have been raised a little bit. My basement gets wet and I have been very lucky then. That sort of disappointed me. What really disappointed me was when they had done some work and I had to come back to move some of vents in the house for me which by the way I designed to con figure it out. I am just a dentist. They did not know what to do. I told them I designed it and that is a good idea. That made me nervous right then and there. They did what I wanted them to do. Then I found these very old vents in the house and so I called them over and over again and that was a lot of days before I got hold of them. When they finally called me back they had an attitude and they were saying that they had a very big house over in Rideal. Rideal is a very wealthy. I told that as far as I am concerned my house is in Rideal and should have been responsive to me because I have paid you money. They did not care. They were rude and disrespectful. They did not feel that my job was as important as anything else. They took very long to get back to me. It was just a simple solution. I would never use them again.

We liked them a lot. We've had other people come out and they failed to fix the problems. I think that Kinkad was very professional and competent. It seemed to me like his pricing was fair. Both his responsiveness and punctuality were very good.

My heating system was a diaster and could only run on emergency heat. We had been let down by the company we had a service contract with and had just paid almost $700 for a 2 day 6 hour visit by another company that left us with the diagnosis that we needed to rip apart our house and replace all the wiring in the walls. We called Kinkaid's for a second opinion. They came out quickly (basically the next day) at the scheduled appointment time, and within 1 hour they had our whole system completely fixed. They sent out two guys and obviously knew exactly what they were doing. Very quickly they confirmed that all the wiring in the wall was fine but that the thermostat and the wiring in the indoor unit needed to be straightened out. They pulled all of that out, started from stratch and the system worked perfectly! They commented that the transformer installed by the previous company was strong enough to power half the city but they could replace it for free during their next visit since it was still under warranty. Their next visit will hopefully be within the next week since we are getting a quote for them to install a whole house humidifier. And to make things even better, they answer their phone! Todd, who picks up and I believe is the owner, is very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to speak with. I felt in good hands with them, from start to finish. Even their emergency rates are reasonable and much cheaper that the normal rates of the last company we had out. Hopefully we will have no need to use those emergency rates! Only one small complaint, they definitively tracked mud throughout the entire house. But I was so grateful to finally have an real expert that I barely even minded. I was so thrilled by their service that I am happy to ask them to remove their shoes next time.

The work was excellent. Our estimate appointment with Todd went very well. We liked him especially because he took time to tell us what needed to be done and also gave us options in what products we could choose, and information about different accessories that we could purchase for our house. The two men who came to do the job were very nice and had the job done very quickly even when they forgot that they were installing the house humidifier. But they went back to the shop and came back immediately to install it. We would recommend Kinkaid to anyone who needed HVAC work.
