The one I signed up for was for $69 to replace the 2 rubber strips on the bottom of the 2 garage doors, but when all was said and done, it cost me $700. They did a good job. Their prices are very, very high. They are the highest of all the vendors in that category. I think the quality of the work is good. The pricing I would have to give a D. It was just way out of line. I think the quality was good, I'd give it an A. Responsiveness was pretty high, he was all over me. He was relentless. I didn't appreciate that. He wanted the work and he was working whatever he could to get the work. I think at some point it was a bit over bearing. I would not use the provider again - unless it was under warranty.

I called to make an appointment and was told there was nothing available until a month later on Aug 12. I agreed to that date and was told I would be called if anyone cancelled to do it earlier. In addition, someone would call me on Aug 11 to reconfirm the time. I'm a patient man so, I accepted they might be extremely busy because of their offer and other work. I called a few weeks before Aug 12 to see if anyone cancelled and was told unfortunately no, but the rep, once again, confirmed my appointment for Aug 12 and reaffirmed I would be called on Aug 11 with exact time. Aug 11 came and there was no call. Aug 12 came and no one showed up. That Monday/Tues that followed I called to inquire what happened. The rep apologized and asked what time I would be home that day to have a rep come out. Unfortunately, I could not be home except between 430-6p. She put me on hold, came back and told me her service guy couldn't do that time. We settled for Thursday at a time which would require me to take time off work from one of my jobs. I wasn't happy with it, but after waiting over a month, I wanted the work done. Later that same day around 3:30 the service guy calls me and asks if I am at home. I replied, "No, and we were scheduled for Thu." He proceeds to tell me that time isn't going to work for him and that she shouldn't have scheduled that. He's on his way to my house to do it now. So now I have to ask my sick wife at home to get up and unlock the garage door for him to do work while I leave my job early to rush through traffic to get home to meet this guy. When he get's there, he isn't the most professional and the stripping that he used was not up to the expectation I hoped for. He finally got it in and proceeds to tell me I need to replace the rollers on my garage. These are the same rollers I just had replace about 4 months ago. Really? I don't think so. He begins to argue with me as to if they had been replaced 4 months ago. I finally just told him thank you for his advice, but I am not buying anything else today. While the stripping was installed quickly and job complete, this experience left a bad taste with me and I don't think I will be using them again.

To be fair I would access two grades for this service. The service Tech that preformed the actual service was very professional and punctual(excellent). My problem with these Folks was scheduling my initial service. I paid for my service through the Angie's list site and despite having excellent availability (home bound) I was told they had no availability for 30 days out and was put on their schedule for a Sunday. Not very happy (they already had my money) I accepted. I was told I would receive a call the day before to confirm the appointment time. I called these Folks two days prior to my service and was assured I was on the schedule and would receive a call the day before with the actual appointment time. Well the schedule day came with no call or show !! I called these folks the next day and was told my appointment was canceled because they were unable to contact me??(No chance !) They did come out that day at 6:30pm. Be careful dealing with this Company and I would not prepay !!

I did not have to pay any more than the $39. It took them maybe 45 minutes.It was just one person that came out.

Technician arrived on time and got right to work and refinished the work within a reasonable time. He was very polite and professional. He explained to me what was being done and further explained to me what could be done so garage door would operate more effectively. I opted to have the additional work done and was glad I made the decision to get it done. It was a little more than I had intend to pay out that day, but I believe it will be well worth it in the long run. Plus it was something I needed done and was long overdue. I would refer to others as well as use again myself.

Well enough. Luis was friendly and professional. Total time was a little over 1 hour. He worked carefully around the car stuck inside which was very much appreciated. Springs were double the price I paid last time but we needed this done asap. Coupons were available on Angies list which warned me of the price ahead of time. We compared the springs he replaced and his were definitely beefier. When they are under tension, they decrease in diameter. The broken one below measures 2.125" diameter. The new ones installed while the door is in the down position are 2.225" diameter, which means they were larger before winding and still larger even after under 9 turns of tension. But diameter is not the tell all. The tensile strength of the steel which needs special equipment to measure, would tell all, but is not currently an option. I replaced both since you never know what is going to happen and the torsion rate was probably different. Emergency service costs, but it wasn't something that could wait a day or week. You rarely get all 3: Fast, Cheap, Good. Last time I got: Fast+Cheap, not Good, and 4 years later I am paying for it. This time I believe I got Fast+Good, and a warranty!

It was a good experience on all accounts.

The job was done to overall satisfaction.

Took 3 visits before it was complete. First visit they didn't have the right seal, second visit they told me the track needed to be replaced since they don't make those seals anymore that I had. So they charged me 90 per track (needed 2) when you can buy a lot cheaper at home depot. After new track installed they still did not have enough of the rubber seal for both doors. Had to come back third time just add the rubber seal to the second garage door. After $300 finally had seals replaced....meanwhile could have just got the new tracks and seals from home depot for around $60. Such a rip off, I asked for a discount since it was such a hassle but they guy wouldn't do anything for my trouble.

Turns out the original installer had installed it incorrectly. the door had expanded so wasn't fitting in track anymore. They were able to fix it to better than new.

OK. Of course there was more work to be done in excess of the Angie's List stated price. But, overall, we were please with the results.

I didn't expect to pay any extra money, but my garage was wider than than what was advertised. They need to give itemized bill also.

I paid $71 in advance thinking this would cover the adjustment. It did not. I was informed new rollers were necessary and cost an additional $90- in reality they should have been about $20, four pulleys were replaced at $40 (should be about $6 each x 4= $24) and the sensor brackets were replaced at $40 ($20 cost more reasonable). The repairs were done quickly and professionally, but cost a total of $241.

The groupon was for $39 for one garage door. They offered the same price for the second door, however since the door had more rollers then came with the groupon there was an additional up charge that I thought was high. The work was performed quickly and I was glad I did it as the doors are functioning much better as the rollers were worn out. The were on time for the appointment and explained the additional work and cost before performing the work.

They were fast and I thought the price was good, but I wasn't a big fan of the new molding they put around the garage door.

I was not satisfied with overall experience. They identified some minor problem, completed minor maintenance to solve this by taking additional charges. Garage door still did not work and we had call back. Different guy came next day and he fixed it and it's working now.

They called me on Sunday, and set the appointment for today. He came on time! He was very courteous and did the job. He was a very pleasant! This is my first Angie's List experience and I am very happy.

I used the Angie's List Deal and saved 61% on a garage door tuneup and roller replacement! We are seniors with a fixed monthly income and are VERY grateful for special deals like this. We got a phone call from the company the very next morning and Amjay came out within hours! Thank you Amjay - So prompt! So nice! I'd recommend this company to family and friends.

Great. Amjay was promoted, professional and helpful. I don't know the average cost for seal replacement and realignment, but it seemed a little pricey. Worth having my garage door actually open the entire way now!! Thanks amjay!

MJ took care of my service problem from the previous visit. He seem to care about doing a good job. I am now satisfied

It was average. Main focus on more advertising or obtain any maintenance work. Not sure they spend even 5 minutes on performing any lubrication. I will not use their service again.
