We had an appointment this morning between 8-10 am. No one ever showed. Called the office 3 times and nobody answered even though their message stated the hours of operations for Saturday. No return phone call either. The Company did cure the issue.

They came out and removed our old furnace and replaced it with a new 95% direct vent 2 stage energy efficient lenox furnace. We had problems with our chimney as well which weren't worth fixing. We had an estimate first, and the guy was very helpful. We had some issues with our gas forced air furnace (it didn't like to work in the cold), and our chimney wasn't venting properly, which is very dangerous. The guy who did the estimate was very informative and down to earth. He told me I needed to have the chimney checked out before they could install a new heater. So we did. By the time we would have paid for a new regular furnace to be installed and have our chimney repaired, it would have cost over twice as much. So, going with the more efficient direct vent furnace was the more economical way to go. The installers were great. I'm just happy the basement is clean and the house will be nice and warm this winter! Also, don't forget to call and ask the office staff for rebate information. Another company had come to give an estimate and it was just as much for the install of their lower end, chimney vented furnace as CHUD's install of the direct vent furnace. Very nice company. Totally professional. We still have a chimney, but we don't use it, and that's fine with me!

We had several quotes to replace our central AC unit and Chud came in far lower than the others. They were very responsive and professional. The men arrived a little the day of the install, but stayed late through a rain storm to complete the project. Very happy with our experience and definitely recommend them.

The are a good service. They are responsive when you have a problem. They have a 24 hour service if need be.

They were prompt and got back to us right away. He didn't specialize in what we wanted so he referred us to another company. But I know they would have been a good company to work with.

I have used them a couple of times. They communicated what was going on with the unit. The price was a little high. It is a small outfit and they were quite professional.

The company conacted me via email to set up the appointment. Once the appointment was scheduled, I received a follow up phone call as a reminder, and a phone call prior to the appointment once the rep was on his way. The rep came to our home (very professional) and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He took the time to explain why we were having a problem. He then followed up with an email containing two different quotes depending on our price range and type of a/c unit we would choose. We chose not to replace our unit at this time, but would have gone with Chud if we did.

It was a difficult job. The men worked diligently and steadily, solved each problem as it came up and did not leave until everything was in place. Subsequently one of the units dripped water and the company's response to this problem was immediate and thorough. They sent someone out immediately but had to come back several more times. They eventually sent out an extremely experienced and intelligent supervisor, (Joe), who examined and video'd the entire system, consulted with LG's IT department, and returned with a solution which solved the problem entirely. Generally the office and service staff are curteous and responsive and appointments are scheduled as conveniently as possible for the customer.

I called to get an evaluation of the HVAC system in a house that I was interested in buying. I was quoted a price of $120. When the tech arrived, he explained that he was going to do a routine maintenance and cleaning, He said there would be separate charges for heat and AC, and that I would need to pay $120 for each, thus the price quoted was doubled. I paid $240 for less than 2 hours work -- seems too high considering that all that was done was checking, cleaning, and a filter change.

We have always found them to be very reliable and responsive to our concerns.

Good. We scheduled the date, and were told we would be called between 8:30 and noon. At 9:30, the service man called and said he was 5 minutes away. He called back a couple of minutes later to say he had been diverted to an emergency, but another service man would come out. He arrived around 10:30 and was done by 11. Everything was cleaned, filters replaced and put back together. I will continue with their service.

I obtained 5 estimates (two were casual, over-the-phone), and Chud was a close second to the lowest. Salesman supplied all the technical information I required, no pressure involved. Installers were one or two hours late, but called to notify us. They worked quickly and efficiently, explained needed operating information, cleaned up well. Very professional. Very satisfied so far with the furnace/AC; it is very quiet, as promised.

I am very happy with this contractor and have since signed up for a yearly service contract with them. The price I show here is for the cleaning, the filter change, and the checkup, which wasn t part of a contract. I believe they are very reliable and very dedicated to seeing my system runs well.

There was only one person doing this work for me. He did show up on time and finished in about 2 hours. He was very nice and polite to me.

I first met Chud two years prior to this work. I called them on an emergency repair for my old heater. They were the 3rd company I had called to fix my old heater. All the others said it couldn't be fixed and I needed a new system ASAP. However, Chud came out and I didn't tell them what the others had said and the repair man looked and said, "it's a loose wire," and then he fixed it. The system worked for another 2 years and by then I was ready to buy a new system. That's when I called Chud to get an estimate. They came in almost $1,000 cheaper than other companies for the high efficiency I wanted. They did a marvelous job. I was scared that a lot of dust was going to be in my house. NOT. They worked extremely cautious around my furniture in the family room. The unit and outside air conditioner looks beautiful compared to the 'monster' I had before. My heating/air bill has decreased with a substantial savings to me both in the winter and summer months.

I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE EXPENSIVE AND UNRESPONSIVE.
