Fine. The plumber was prompt, professional and very competent.

We've had some trouble with our sewer main acting up and spilling sewage into our basement. One call to them, they came out. Although they were busy until the next week, they made every attempt to help me understand that. Hey... When you're busy, you're busy. So they came out, very friendly, and tried to clear the pipe. Spoke with Chris about options. He wanted to just move to digging up the pipes and replacing them to save me the ~$400 it normally costs to clear/video a pipe system. I told him that would wait. He was MOST EXCELLENT in telling me about a local excavator who would work with us to fix the problem! Finally, the sewer pipe was so bad, it collapsed. I don't blame Wilhide for this. It happens. But to be so courteous under pressure and even help further by providing someone else to get to the bottom of this, that's true help. I highly recommend John Wilhide of Abbottstown, PA. (As a side note: I was quoted once before about the job and told it would be about $7000 to fix. Because of Chris' help, I paid much under HALF of that! Thanks, guys!)

the wax seal disintegrated and water was leaking in my bathroom. Jim fixed it with his usual friendly professionalism. I am always satisfied with his service.

As usual, Wilhide was fantastic. They scheduled me the day I called and the technician was very thorough. He checked he interior and exterior parts of the heater and made sure it was working before he left by turning it off and on at least 5 times. We have not had any problems since.

The plumbers at John M. Wilhide are fantastic. I called after 11 am and had someone at my house before 2PM. James was friendly and competent. I had used him before when a pipe in the basement broke. He clearly explained everything that was wrong to me and how we can avoid such problems in the future. He repaired the sink and also told me how to get the replacement parts so he can fix other things (such as the cap on the faucet) to avoid future problems--although he assured me I can use the sink still in the meantime. I would highly recommend their services.

I had opened the furnace and tried clanging the dirt off the blower and motor, but still was hard to turn. I suspected the blower motor was shot and called with furnace model number and motor details. They were there in 2 hours with new motor. It took 1.5 hours to replace the motor and capacitor The technician also checked other potential causes to be sure and then cycled the unit. It has been working great ever since. They got to us within a couple of hours and not only was our plumbing fixed and water restored, but the gentleman installed something to keep the same thing from happening again in the future.
