+ -1 moreI like the way the large store and outdoor greenhouses are set up, with logical groupings of plants which make it easy to find what I am looking for. I also like that they set up displays of plants and merchandise so that I may steal their ideas for my own garden and home. I recently attended a mole seminar and got lots of good tips for managing them. They have a schedule of events available online for your convenience (the website is great as well). I just really like this garden center / nursery.
Description of Work: Al's is a full-service garden center who provides excellent garden products for a fair price. I recently went there to purchase a fig tree and garden stock as well some flowers as well. All of their stock is of high quality. The majority of the stock is under cover of greenhouse-like roofing with no sides so you can go in the rain and not get wet. The exception are their trees, but they have umbrellas for use should you wish to venture out. Carts are available to fill up with stock and they have a wonderful indoor plant selection as well as gifts for garden and home interior as well. I picked up seeds and stock, soil amendments and garden- related gifts as well. They provide coupons regularly in the paper - I used one for half-off of the tree I bought and I also received coupons back for spending the amount I did which I can use on the stated week special event. The more I spend, the more off I get in 'garden bucks'. All in all, it is a great shopping experience.

+ -1 moreThey sell all types of plants, fertilizers, gardening tools and miscellaneous gardening supplies. I love going here and taking my time shopping. I do feel like sometimes their plants are a little over priced but the quality is good.
