Description of Work: Our water heater failed and the repairmen determined it was the heat shield which he replaced at the time of his visit. It all went well and he said it was a common problem that has now been fixed.

Description of Work: I don't recall the cost of the service just that it was worth every penny. I've used their services twice at the recommendation of another service provider. They are very professional and know how to troubleshoot water heater issues. They also provided a consultation for us on a replacement water heater and estimate for install.

Description of Work: Have used this service provider for many years (twenty) and have always been very satisfied. They do not over charge or perform services that are not necessary. The last visit when I thought my water heater was going out the technician checked everything, made a couple of adjustments and recommendations and assured me that I did not need a new water heater yet (probably in about five years which would be right), and then he only charged for a minimal service call. I believe this is a company of integrity which is a rarity these days.

Description of Work: Replaced hot water heater. Adapted pipes to fit new installation and modified vent ductwork to fit as well. Added earthquake straps. Service was excellent. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable and very efficient. I was very pleased with the service.

Description of Work: Our hot water heater stopped working. Initially they repaired the controller. The next day it wasn't working again. It would light but not stay lit. They came out free of charge, cleaned out the whole thing (there was a ton of lint and dust inside and our particular model has a problem with that), tested everything, and we had no more problems. They did a great job and we're very happy. Would definitely use them again in the future.

I was headed out of town when the hot water heater failed and my wife was nervous about having to handle this on her own. Stan was great and was very professional on the phone. Based on their prompt response and great customer care over the phone, I can only imagine the level of service had we used them, would have been so great.

Description of Work: We have a very unique Hot water heater and after calling all the over the Metro area, I went with Stan the Hot water man because no one else had the skills and knowledge to repair our Water heater. They were prompt, professional and very reasonably priced. The technician even came back after the part malfunctioned and fixed it, very quickly. Description of Work: The hot water coming from the tankless water heater would stop making hot water durning showers. The person who came out "specialized" in tankless water heaters (note: most companies don't have anyone who knows about tankless heaters) He cleaned the unit and when checking out the shower head noticed that the head was on lowflow. Tankless heaters need a lot of water flow to work. He explained everything including when and what maintance should be done. (Note: the person that originally installed it never explained anything in fact installed it incorrectly)
