Description of Work: They were terrific to start. Prompt and knew right away what the problem was that I had. Said they would purchase the items I needed then would follow up to install and I didn't hear from them again. To be fair, I haven't followed up either. I would hire them, knowledgeable, likeable and fair price for a job they seem to know a lot about. Many friends have used them and liked.

Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired problems with three circuit breakers that tripped simultaneously, which proved to be a cascade of two separate issues. |We could not have asked for a better service provider. We have an older home with interesting wiring, and they stuck with the issue until it was completely diagnosed and repaired. In our opinion they definitely deserve straight A's for knowledge and professionalism

+ -1 moreWhen I called and explained problem, someone got back to me very soon. The repairman (owner) left the job he was doing to come make repairs. He was very polite and professional.
Description of Work: The kitchen lighting circuit shorted out while replacing a bulb. A circuit breaker blew. It would not reset unless the switch for those lights was in ''off'' position. Ken immediately located the problem, went to secure new canister fixture, returned, and repaired problem.

+ 1 moreThe work itself was great. Except I don't know why the track lighting cost 750 bucks. Communication is very poor. Why can't these guys write anything down. Several times appointments were rescheduled - after the appointment time - because of other emergencies. Why do my problems never seem to take priority. I gave these guys a glowing report last time, but further experience was much less pleasant. Lastly, the gut charged me a half hour of time to talk about new projects and give me an estimate. Also I repeatedly insisted on a written contract and he never delivered.
Description of Work: Replaced track lighting and transformer. Replaced attic fan. Installed ceiling fan. Move outdoor security light and installed switch.

+ -1 moreAll staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were always on time and worked long hours to accomplish the job. They let me know the ''flow'' of the work, since we would have to be without electricity for about a day as they transferred over from the old panel to the new one. He gave a price range for the work. The garage costs around $800. All of the work looks great. I even made a PowerPoint slide show of the whole process (and gave a copy to the owner)! I also did a complete ''electrical map'' of each circuit in the house (color coded)--upstairs and downstairs and put it directly above the new sub panel box. I saved a lot of money by taking down the ceiling in the basement and moving things out of the way, to allow the subpanel cable to be installed from the garage and grounding to other rooms. Gee no more fuses! I'm SO glad that people have skills that I don't have!
Description of Work: They installed a new 200-Amp service (installed new meter and conduit on house outside and removed the old meter) in garage with a 100-Amp subbox in the basement. In the garage, they installed two 3-way light switches (front and back doors), five overhead lights and plugs for garage door and two plug boxes. WOW! Lights! In basement panel box (mounted panel frame to wall): Wired new dryer and washer plugs and installed electrical service in basement bathroom with new wall switch. Also grounded two additional plugs (most plugs in house are two-prong, not three, except for kitchen and bathroom) for upstairs refrigerator and room with computer.

Was willing to stay until the job was finished at 10 or 11 at night which is both good and bad when you want the job done but also want them to leave and be finished already. Ken was working at another home, has great integrity at finishing a quality job but therefore showed up at 10pm to give estimate, nearly three hours later than expected. I received the same care however when it came to completing my job. I am very pleased with the work done.
