Very pleased with their work! Very detailed report written for City on why tree should be cut down and not replaced due to utility line. Tree cut down and all safety measures used while cutting down tree. Best tree service we have used locally.

They did a great job! We said we'd do the clean-up which was very easy due to how they left the site.

Nathan was very professional and quick to address all of my questions. I had 7 people come out and quote to remove my tree all ranging from $1400-500. Some were more professional and courteous than others and some were just salesmen with no actual experience removing trees. Nathan came out and quoted me a very fair price (lower but not the lowest of my bids) and gave me the timeframe to schedule. I accepted the bid and he came out at exactly the scheduled time with his crew of 2 others and they had the tree removed, brush cleaned up, stump grinded and firewood gone in about 3 hours. They were very hard workers and I would definitely hire again!

Nathan and his helper spent several hours pruning and shaping trees on my property. He did a great job of cleaning up afterward. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what he is doing. I appreciated his professionalism .

Update - I thank Nathan for his response that, previously unbeknownst to me, he received different instructions from my neighbor on the day of the work as to what height the arborvitaes should be trimmed to. I was out of town and unaware of the differing heights, so it makes perfect sense that Nathan (Good News Tree Service) would defer to the height requested by the property owner, rather than myself, the neighbor (although we were jointly paying for the job). The differing communications did leave Nathan in the position of choosing which direction to follow on the day the work was scheduled to be done. I understand his response, but with the considerable discrepancy in heights and the irreversible nature of the work, I remain disappointed that the work went forward when it became evident that there was a known conflict. In retrospect, my neighbor and I, rather than merely discussing the height, should have jointly agreed to and marked the height prior to my leaving town. I have no problem standing by my (mostly Excellent) ratings of Nathan and Good News Tree Service.

I have used Nathan on numerous occassions and have found him to be professional, polite and just a good person. He completed the work a couple of days after providing me with his bid. Sometimes he can get busy, but if you are not in a hurry, he is worth waiting for. An added bonus is that his bids are also very reasonable and competitive.

We had asked 4 companies for bids; only two bothered to even call back. Nathan's bid was half what the other man quoted. He was the consumate professional calling to let us know when he would be there and showing up on time. Did the job in an efficient manner and cleaned up after himself. Would highly recommend Good News Tree Service to anyone needing help with their trees.

Good News Tree Service did a really good job. I liked that he did what I asked him to do. He was fast and cleaned up the area.

Things went well. Nathan was punctual and did a good job of writing the report.

Nathan first felled the tree exactly where he wanted it to fall. Then he cut up the large trunks. He then cleaned up all the limbs and branches by putting them through his chopper/mulcher which blew all the cut up materials into the back of a truck. He came back the next working day and ground up the stump, leaving us a nice mound of dirt and some sawdust in place of the tree. Logs will be hauled away tomorrow.

GOOD NEWS DID A GOOD JOB! HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT TREES AND GAVE ME GOOD ADVICE ABOUT OTHER TREES AS WELL. THE JOB WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
