bathtub refinishing
 + -1 moreI can't say enough about the service this company provided. They refinished an old, partially discolored porcelain tub so that it now looks literally brand new. George responded to every inquiry I had promptly, clearly explained my options, appeared at my condo precisely at the agreed upon time, and worked diligently. At the conclusion of the job he gave me useful tips on how to clean the tub so as to keep it pristine for years to come. The entire process took about 4 hours. I'm delighted I decided to use Surface Rescue instead of removing and replacing the tub. I highly recommend this service!

 + 1 moreThey were first referred to me by a handyman. They provided a prompt and written estimate and did everything they were supposed to do and right on time.
Description of Work: I first had them refinish some cabinets and tub at a beach rental. They did a great job! Then a couple of years later, they refinished and restored three antique footed tubs for a bed and breakfast. I don't recall the charges for each but they seemed reasonable to me and I was delighted to find someone with the skills to do the job.

SURFACE RESCUE offers the following services: Surface Rescue, Inc. provides resurfacing and repairing service and converts existing tubs to walk in showers. Items include: fiberglass units, porcelain tubs and sinks, countertops, ceramic tile, cabinets and appliances. We save our customers time, most fixtures are done in one day, and money, up to 70%. Reasons for resurfacing: to update and renew existing fixtures, recolor, items are faded or scratched, chiped etc. Also specialize in just the repair of items not needing complete resurface.
Surface Rescue, Inc. does not tear out fixtures but rather renews the existing items in place. We do not install new ceramic tile or countertops or build cabinets. We put a beautiful new finish over the existing. We do not remove fixture to be resurfaced except in the case of cabinet doors and drawers which we do in our paint shop. In addition, some items such as clawfoot tubs, refrigerator doors, some sinks and other items that are easier done in our shop than in building.
