Oceanside Flooring is a family owned and operated business, established in 2014. We believe in honesty and integrity and try very hard to treat our clients the way we want to be treated. We have, on average, 3-6 employees each month. Our business growth has been solely by word of mouth. Mitch Rose, his wife Leona and other Key Persons make a flooring team that often exceed expections.
Description of Work: Whole house needed new flooring. Dry rot had to be repaired and uneven floors had to be corrected.

It was smooth going right from the start with Oceanside Flooring. Mitch called the day before to drop off materials and set a time for arrival next day. The crew at Oceanside Flooring arrived on time just as discussed and got right to work removing my old carpet and loading it onto their trailer. The four of them, Mitch, Frank, Mica and Buck worked like a well conducted orchestra! They were professional, courteous and careful with my furniture. They cleaned as they went along and man did they move along! By 4:30 pm on day one, all the laminate flooring was down and only the baseboards and transition pieces needed installing! They arrived early and on time next day and finished the job in a couple of hours, cleaned up and carefully moved my furniture back where it belonged. I wish they did more than flooring because I would hire them to do everything I needed done!
Description of Work: I needed laminate flooring installed in my living room, dining room and hallway.

Oceanside Flooring was outstanding in every way. They are one of very few contractors who have actually shown up here not only on time but early. Every day. They worked hard, the whole crew, all the time except for one short break and lunch. They worked as late as necessary to get the job done in the promised time. They were very careful with our antiques and were appreciative of the work we did moving all the small things and emptying the furniture. They were friendly towards us but not chummy. They were all three eminently professional in their work and their dealings with us. They hauled away all the old carpet, padding and flooring without making a mess for us. They went above and beyond several times to help out with work that wasn't even their responsibility. We had a delay from the wood stove installer but they took it in stride and offered to come back. They were very fussy prepping and cleaning the sub-floor so I am confident no bumps are going to show up later. They were meticulous with laying the tile, lining up and securing the joints and cutting to fit the LARGE number of radiused walls in this house. They were extraordinary finishing the trim up to and around our circular staircase. I thought it would end up being a problem area. Turns out it's the star of the show! The crew went out of their way to make sure every joint, edge and transition was perfect. One man saw a nail hole at the edge of a transition and completely redid it to hide the blemish. They finished by moving everything back just where we wanted it without leaving a single mark on the new floor. They took all of their equipment, tools and trash with them when they left. As I said, they were simply outstanding in every way. That's why I asked for a stack of their business cards because I know everyone is going to want to know who did that floor!
Description of Work: Moved all furniture. Ripped out 2,000 sq ft of carpet and sheet vinyl. Prepped and installed luxury vinyl tile (LVT) to replace. Finished all detail and installed trim pieces and transition pieces. Moved all furniture back.
