Precision Cabinets and Countertops

Medium at best, they installed a week later than scheduled even with several months notice for the job. They forgot to drill a hole for our drinking fountain and never returned my email about it.

They showed up to looked at the job, responded to my email and had the work done in 3 days. I had been trying to find someone to do the job since August. If I had an appropriate job for them, I would definitely call again.

Precision Cabinets did a fantastic job on our kitchen project. A group of cabs was removed to make room for a stove, along with a number of other adjustments and refinishing. Travis and his colleague did a great job, on time and on budget, with a friendly professionalism that was very impressive. I confidently recommend Precision Cabinets to anyone in the Lane County area looking for an experienced cabinet maker who does excellent work. Next up: A custom eight foot bath vanity.

Travis Hill replaced 13 cabinet doors and 7 drawer fronts with bead board shaker doors. We chose to go a more economical route with paint grade wood that we are painting ourselves. We couldn't be happier with the work that Travis and his assistant did. He/they were always punctual and worked efficiently. We had ordered new pulls/handles from a local business, that normally would have been available in plenty of time for installation, but were extremely delayed because of port issues in California. There is a reasonable charge from Travis to install handles at the time of cabinet work, but an extra charge if he comes back later just for handle installation. He did NOT charge us anything extra to come back because of the shipping delay. This was much appreciated. He made sure we were happy with every little detail, or made any adjustments requested. We certainly would work Precision Cabinets and Countertops again without hesitation.

The salesman came out after we visited Home Depot and Costco, looking at countertops. The same company, Precision Countertops, is the installer and provider for both. He gave us a quote based on each of those company's contract with Precision. We went with Home Depot because a sale they were having gave us a better price. We then drove up to Precision's warehouse and picked out our slabs. The crew came out a couple weeks later to measure the counters and build templates. A couple weeks after that they came to install. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Every person we dealt with was professional. The price was high, but we didn't compare to other installers, so it might not be unreasonable. We are very happy with our countertops, new sinks, and faucets.

One of the cabinet doors was coming loose at the hinge after about a week. The owner, Travis Hill, was called about the problem and came out and fixed the problem in a timely manner. I was assured that if anything needs to be replaced or fixed that Travis would come and fix the problem. This job went very smooth and our cabinets look very nice.

Precision Cabinet and Countertop, headed by Travis Hill, was more than up to the job of restoring my employer’s cabinetry. I had a kitchen fire that ruined the beautiful fir cabinet doors above the stove. Mr. Hill responded to my call promptly, assessed the damage and gave a quite accurate bid immediately. He took great pains to see that the new wood and stain matched the original woodwork in the kitchen. He was both businesslike and kindly toward us all. He and his employees replaced the doors, trim, veneer, and even a small piece of hardware that was missing in the first place, sooner than I expected and within his estimate. I am recommending his company to all I know in Eugene and environs. We could not be more grateful and pleased.
