+ -1 moreHe came once, he looked around, and said he will come back but he did not. He looked very responsive and a professional guy but I guess he just forgot or forgot to show up. I got someone else and the work is done.
Description of Work: I contacted Handy Ed. There were some tiles and things around the pool that needed repair and a couple of minor handyman stuff to be done around the house.

+ 1 moreEd does beautiful work. He prepped the job meticulously and only painted when it wasn't too hot so the paint would set properly. He is one of the few contractors I've ever seen who did the job with the kind of care and attention to detail that a person would do if it were for their own home. He is pleasant to work with and reliable. His price was better than the other bids we got and I'm sure none of the other contractors would have done nearly as perfect a job. We are extremely pleased with how our porch looks and will hire Ed again in the future when we need work done.
Description of Work: We have an extremely long porch with railings that needed to be prepped and painted two coats.

Description of Work: I needed some jobs done on a rental house that I have I Eugene. I called four individuals listed under the Handyman catagory. Two never called me back. Ed and one other did call and came out and gave me a quote for the work I needed done. I chose Ed because of the reports on his work and his pricing came in slightly lower than the other handyman. Ed was very personable and took care of everything I needed in a timely and efficient manner. I would definitely use him again for any projects I have in the Eugene area.

+ -1 moreEd is a marvel. He can do anything. He takes great care with his work and therefore it might take longer than someone else but it is most definitely worth the wait. My house was very dirty and Ed took many many hours prepping it for painting. While he was here I discovered dry rot and he repaired it for me in a matter of a few hours. He designed a very clever support system for the deck and knew the best way to construct the deck and finish it. Ed solved a leaking shower problem that 3 other tile contractors couldn't. He is a pleasure to have around, is totally meticulous in his work and is completely straightforward and honest. And he is quite reasonable price wise. I highly recommend him!!!
