Great looking steps, quality work. Little pricey.

It didn't go at all. I called and left several messages and nothing, nada, zilch! Seems strange to see all of these wonderful reviews when I couldn't even get a response.

Raoul and team identified and fixed the problem with the wall footing which allowed moisture incursion to our family room. They managed lead paint abatement, repaired and sealed the footing and repaired and repainted the affected wall. They did a great job.

The guy that was hear obviously wasn't listening because he sent me a bid and it wasn't what I had asked him to do to my fireplace. He didn't even bother to let me know about the kitchen cabinets. I guess he didn't want to do it so he blew it off.

Job was very well done. He was on time. Kept me informed all along the way through text and phone calls. Will definitely hire in the future for work.

Raoul does excellent work. We love our new basement; it is beautiful and highly functional. Raoul is excellent to work with. He was professional and courteous from start to finish. Twice we made changes to the initial order, and each time, he promptly provided us with an itemized change order explaining the changes. I also really appreciated how easy it was to keep in touch with Raoul. He was readily available via text, phone, and email. Raoul and Gus do great work. Raoul also used subcontractors (for painting trim, plumbing, and tile work,) but Raoul was always close at hand, overseeing the subcontractors' work. The only work Raoul doesn't do is electrical, so I used our electrician (Mike's Electric) and they were both very good at trying to work around and accommodate each others' schedules as best they could. Our basement is so lovely- everyone who comes over says how beautiful it is- and we are so happy with it that I would highly recommend calling Raoul at Wonderman for your remodeling needs. You can even look at before and after pictures of our basement project. Some time in the future we hope to remodel our kitchen as well as our upstairs bathroom, and we will definitely call Raoul when we are ready for those jobs.

Gentleman showed up at appointed time on the 7th December. Took some pictures of the area of the work needed but took no measurements. A week later, called in as had not heard about a quote and was told that needed to get with person who came out. After second week with NO call or a quote, am going with another company.

The repair looks great and he was able to schedule me in faster than most of the other quotes I received. He was also one of the more reasonably priced quotes. Would certainly call him again if I needed another repair.

Have not heard back them after the first visit for measuring.

Experience with Wonderman was great. Raoul was fantastic to work with. He went over everything prior beginning the work. The end result was more than I had expected. I would definitely hire him again.

I contacted the company via phone and left a voicemail, with no return call. After a few days I left a written request via their website. a subsequent return email offered a visit for an estimate on a day I would be out f town. i responded to that email offering three dates that would work for me. Almost a week later, i have not gotten a response.

Well. The team identified issues and worked around them to accomplish the goal. They proactively looked for pipes/electrical behind the drywall, discovered and hung the cabinets without incident.

I was very happy working with Raoul on our kitchen, bath and attic remodel. After having a terrible experience with an expensive, disorganized contractor on our basement remodel, I knew I couldn't risk using another contractor with constantly moving deadlines when it came time to remodel upstairs. I decided to act as a contractor and hire out the work that I didn't feel comfortable doing myself. I was thrilled when I found Raoul/Wonderman's since he ended up doing almost all that work that didn't require an electrician or plumber. He found several unanticipated problems with our 110 year-old house and he was able to fix them immediately. I'm very happy with the final product and with the work experience. Wonderman's involvement with the project lasted about 3 months off and on. Raoul initially gave me an estimate for the drywall and tile work. As the project continued and trust was established, he would charge a competitive hourly rate for himself and his employee, Gus. He was very easy to get ahold of and was almost always able to accommodate the dates that I needed work. I will definitely use Wonderman again and recommend them for all repair/remodel work.

Raoul is absolutely wonderful, skilled, and professional! I found my 20 year old water heater leaking and immediately knew it had to be replaced. Before the water heater could be replaced, mold and drywall had to be cared for. At a time when most contractors are 3 weeks out, Raoul was just as busy, but understood my urgent need (lots of cold showers) and fit me into one of his mornings. He was knowledgeable, efficient, professional, patient, you name it! I could not have asked for a better contractor. I absolutely plan to use him again.

Installation was great. Workers were able to understand the drawings and install the awning correctly and it is working fine. It helps keep rain off of the French doors to our deck.

It went pretty well. It would have been nice to work a little bit close as far as the timeline, cost and the general expectations. There seemed to be some issues in regard to all of those things. The quality of the work was fine at the end of the day but as far as the timeline and the project price, it kept changing as to the scope of the stuff. The communication wasn't as good as it could have been. The workers were fine. They were polite and courteous. There was nothing wrong with the people who did the work.

We found rotten wood and mold around our shower. He removed shower, fixed rot, replaced wood, and then reassembled shower.

On 8/31/2015 @ 2:12pm, I emailed Wonderman with my name, address, home phone #, a description of the patch job and a photo of the area to be patched. I requested he contact me back if this is a job the company would do and roughly when I could expect an estimate or repair. On 9/2/2015 @ 5:55am, Raoul from Wonderman sent me a form email asking for details of my job in a particular format and included frequently asked questions and answers. Though my original email had answered virtually all of those questions already, I complied and at 1:54pm that same day emailed back with the answers in the format requested because I was well aware of how busy drywall companies in the area are at this time. On 9/3/2015 @ 5:16am, Raoul sent an email reply indicating that their minimum fee schedule for a small job like mine was $275 and that he would squeeze me in between larger, scheduled jobs in my area. He guessed it would happen sometime in the later part of this month. He said to let him know if this works for me. On 9/7/2015 @ 3:09pm, I emailed Raoul to advise him that those arrangements would work fine for me as I am working from home much of the month. I provided him with my home number as the best option to reach me and my mobile number just in case. On 9/10/2015 @ 6:10am, Raoul emailed me that he would be in touch as soon as an on call slot opened up for my job. On 9/17 @ 3:22pm, Raoul left a voice mail message for me indicating that should be able to patch my drywall tomorrow and requested that I call or email to let him know if that would work for me. At 3:40pm when I received the message, I called him back on his cell and left a voicemail that tomorrow would work fine and requesting that he let me know roughly when I might expect him. At 5:02pm, I emailed Raoul the same information. On 9/18 before 8am, Raoul called and indicated that he had something else he needed to do first and didn't know exactly what time he'd be there but said he would call 30 minutes before he arrives. At 11:44am, Raoul called and said he could be at my house in as soon as 45 minutes. Raoul arrived a few minutes before 1pm. He was polite, courteous, and professional and got right to work. He enlarged the hole a bit before beginning the repair as some of the drywall on the edge was bowed a bit from the previous water leak. He patched the drywall efficiently and the job was complete in a bit under an hour. When I asked what I owed him, he asked me if I remembered the estimate he sent in the email. As I didn't have the email handy at that moment, I said no but I remembered it being $200-something. He said $250 was fine and I wrote him a check for that amount. Raoul did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

They patched several areas where the plaster / drywall was damaged. Did exactly what I asked in a few hours. Came in at the low end of the bid.

He does a great job. He's my go-to guy. He did a partial remodel of my basement. I just think that he's honest and efficient and timely. His price is fair and honest.

I had Wonderman previously fix a huge dry rot problem at the house per a repair addendum for the sale. At the last minute, the buyer requested flooring installed before signing. Wonderman adjusted his schedule so he could come back to install flooring when I needed it. Thanks to him, the closing of the home went more smoothly. He is honest, timely, efficient and he is greatly appreciated. Thanks Raoul.
