"We are sorry that Mrs. [Member name removed] was unhappy with the work and materials by Treadline. We furnished and installed new custom granite countertops in accordance with our Angie's List special promotion. Mrs. [Member name removed] purchased our Angie's List promotion for up to 40 sq ft of new countertops installed for $2999.00 on 5/17/15. We met with her on 6/1/15 and emailed a project contract to her with all final measurements included on 6/3/15. The customer received the quote via doc-u-sign. The customer signed the contract on 6/8/15, and work was scheduled and performed on 6/18/15. We encourage any potential customers to read through all documents thoroughly in order to understand the project scope. When a question arises, we would encourage all attempts to understand materials, labor and other items that may not be clear. It is also unfortunate that this customer chose not to provide any information in her review - rather she chose to give us 'F's across the board and state the project 'went ok', which would be a direct contradiction to an 'F'. We arrived on time, performed all work in her indicated timeline, provided her with documentation and correspondence in an extremely professional manner, and performed the work to her satisfaction. We fulfilled all details as specified and she was happy with the new countertops she received at a discounted promotional rate. We wish this customer the best in selling her home."

Description of Work: Had all of the carpet on the main floor of the house replaced with wood floors. I knew I wanted wood but had no idea other than that. Ovi made suggestions when he came to do initial measurements and then I was given plenty of time and samples to choose when visiting the showroom. Destry and Paul did the work and were punctual and professional and cleaned up each night before leaving which was great. I recommended Treadline to two friends right away, can't get better than instant recommendations.

Description of Work: Sanded and refinished oak flooring. On time, clean, and the floors look like new. I was a little surprised that the floors are lighter than original--it would have been good to know that in advance. Also, that there are so many restrictions on how to take care of the floors after refinishing--need for special cleaning product and non-plastic pads for rugs. But, overall the experience was good and the floors look fabulous!

We had originally discussed staining the flooring, as it is our practice to make sure that clients know that the color of natural floors will be lighter once they have been sanded and refinished. Hardwood floors are an investment, and we do our best to make sure that our clients have all the necessary information to maintain them and make sure their warranty remains valid. That is why we recommend specific cleaners and rubberless rug pads.

We have never heard from this person, nor are we in the business of not getting back to people when they call. In this day in age, there are numerous ways of being contacted - including through Angie's List (which keeps a very detailed record of every contact made by us or our customers), company email, our website contact form and by phone. If someone wants to come onto Angie's List to write poor reviews - without making every effort to be contacted for any estimate - it is highly likely they are even a real reviewer. Unfortunately, Angie's List allows this kind of review - which is certainly not helpful or beneficial for anyone. Anyone who has been in contact with our company knows how responsive we are by all methods of communication - from estimate to final contact - we answer our phones (even while on vacation, at night, and weekends!) and we certainly respond to emails and other contact forms. If you are looking for any kind of contact from our company, you are welcome to call or email through a number of channels - and there are more than enough ways of verifying that your contact has been received, instead of placing an invalid review on Angie's List.

[member name removed] has waited over 2 years to post a review that contains no information. We would certainly like to know why [member name removed] thought we deserve a B rating, as we were punctual, responsive, competitive and provided her with quality services and materials, just like we have done for all of our other customers. If a customer does not feel that we are priced competitively and won't provide quality materials and services why would they choose to use our company for their project? We highly encourage our customers to obtain multiple bids for the services they are asking us to provide, so that they can see what the market and our competitors are providing. As we have stated in response to previous reviews, we are not the cheapest flooring contractor, nor do we want to be. We provide the most high quality, longest warranty finish available, we include dustless refinishing and furniture/appliance movement in our services, and we offer in-house labor. We provide confirmed schedules, and very rarely have any issues that cause delays or changes in schedule. Often, we finish our projects early, allowing our customers to move back into their homes and minimize the disruption to their lives. In addition, we stand by our work for each and every project, and work diligently to make sure every customer is 100% satisfied to the best of our ability. If customers choose not to communicate any issues, there is no way we can read their minds, and address anything that might be an easy 'punch-list' fix. Customers should also keep in mind that floor refinishing is a craft, and not an exact science and some 'punch-list' items are a very common occurrence. We are glad to come in and address any and all issues that are outside of industry standards. Again, we would encourage all current and potential customers to provide timely and accurate feedback, and make sure to provide information so that other Angie's List members can make educated decisions.

Description of Work: Refinished hard wood flooring. Treadline came in with the cheapest bid, because of the reviews on Angies list it went with them. They started the job on time, completed it on time. Floors look better now than they did when they were new. They moved all appliances and furnature and used a dustless system. Everything went just the way Ovi said it would go. Its been over a month since the job was completed, we have 3 Golden Retreivers and there is not a scratch anywhere on the new floor. The finish is great.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $125 to Recoat 100 Sq. Ft. of Existing Hardwood Flooring. He wanted to do the whole house. I couldn’t afford that and he wouldn’t work with me. I showed him what I wanted done but he insisted that he needed to do the whole house. I just didn’t really care for his attitude.

That means that we do not 'piece' a project together, and if we have to stand behind the finished project, as well as warranty the work when we are done, we are going to make sure it is up to NWFA standards. [member name removed] decided to use our company, and got an incredible deal for his $125.00, and also states that he'd use us again, so we are a little confused why he would give us a 'C'. Ultimately, we have an incredible standard for our own work, and wouldn't want to settle for 'less than ideal'.
