We added a bonus room above a remodeled garage. We had five hardwood flooring companies view and measure the the space and make bids. We knew the exact square footage was 350 square feet. Four bids ranged from 370 to 410 square feet. After measuring the space, Ovi Ragalie owner of Treadline said, "You have 350 square feet and it is a pretty strait forward job." He bid 328 square feet for materials and labor. Because the cost of materials and labor was about the same for all five bids, Ovi's honest estimate of square footage saved us between $350 and $900! Treadline installed the floor properly, cleanly and on time. The moral of the story for any floor coverings, know your actual square footage.

We had a very good experience with them. They were fair, and I think they applied extra effort to meet our expectations of quality. They really paid attention to the details, which I appreciated. Our project required highly specialized skills, and their craftsmen were able to accommodate those needs. The owner was always on top things, and really provided great follow up. I would certainly recommend Strada to others.

I have had Ovi and his team work on several projects for me and recommended them to several other folks. Ovi is a just a pleasure to do business with. He actually answers his phone when you call. If he misses you he calls you back. Not many contractors seem to do that these days. His team is capable of taking on any job you through at them. They can completely re-build and remodel a property from the ground up. They are punctual, they stick to their estimates and they are always working to keep the costs under control for you. They truly partner with you on the project and include in any key decisions. They finish the projects on time and with the highest quality. I would HIGHLY recommend them for just about any project on your home. I have personally recommended them to at least six other friends and family members. I always check in with them and each of them had the same experience with Ovi as I did. Good people doing great work.

My overall experience with them went excellent, except that they did give me an estimate. His wife was supposed to get back to me and she never did. They were really helpful and very informative, more than any place that I went.

I was getting counter tops done as well. All the work including hardwood flooring finished in two days. They measured accuracy on computer. I went to the hardwood casing store, and they had everything so that you can move the counter tops around the flaps that you have been shown. You can select so that everything matches. After the counter tops the following day they did the hardwoods. They had some problem. They had been busy until they came out. They had to spend an extra day to finish the work, and they did not charge me anything for that. I had gone for the engineered hardwood first and then I finished up with foliate hardwood and this took them a day to get that sorted. They were the cheapest in price. It is a husband and wife company. They were very responsive and professional.

responsive bid, competitive pricing and started work on time and finsihed as promised Very good work by employees but some subs needed more attention to detail. However treadline was very very responsive to resolve any issues. Was very fair on cost compromised and handled change orders well. They were very creative in coming up with not standard solutions to complicated problems. Good work ethic and fun to be around. I would use them again but would be very specifc as to detailed finish expectations. What level of finishing is expected vs. what is good enough---leave less room for interpretation.

I ended up going with a different company, but have no complaints about this company. I went back and forth as to which to hire. His bid was very professional. Price is approximate.

Their quote seemed to be good. We ran into some cash flow problems, so we are postponing our hardwood flooring changes.

On Tuesday evening my wife and I and our 4-month old son were getting into our vehicle, which was parked at the curb in front of our house on a quiet residential street. My wife carried our son around to the street side of our car, opened the door and was putting him in the car when all of the sudden a van came roaring down the street at 45 or 50 miles an hour and came within inches of striking my wife. She was terrified and I was stunned. This was truly an example of reckless driving and I may be underestimating how fast the van was travelling. It was shocking to see in our neighborhood and I half-expected to see a police car come around the corner in pursuit of the van. It was that bad. I made eye contact with the driver, who I realized was Ovi when I saw his picture on the Treadline website. Luckily, the "Treadline" logo across the side of the van was large enough that I could make it out even as the van passed at a high rate of speed. I looked up the company on the web and left a message with Ovi saying (very politely) that his driving was out of line and that he had terrified my wife. I left Ovi my phone number and asked him to please return my call - expecting that he would at least call to apologize. I have heard nothing. I'm including this on Angies List because I think it speaks to Ovi's lack of character and accountability. What kind of person drives 50 miles an hour through a residential neighborhood, nearly strikes a woman and child, and then won't even bother to call back and apologize? NOT the kind of person I would trust to work on my home.

They did a beautiful job. I couldn't be happier with the results. It is unusual for a company to give so much attention to detail.

When a center island was moved during the kitchen remodel, it exposed an area missing pine board flooring. In addition, the former owners had refinished the floor, but had not moved the old refrigerator during the process. When we replaced the refrigerator, it left exposed the un-refinished floor. Ovi squeezed us into his hectic schedule. He pulled up the existing boards that were too short, replaced them with new boards and sanded the new boards and un-refinished piece lurking under the refrigerator. He then had to come back twice to sand and apply polyurethane.

The entire experience was flawless. Ovi met with us the same day we called for a quote to review floor options, did not push any specific item, but offered helpful suggestions. He asked the most questions of us than others during the review of our place, and ensured us "4 days, 5 maximum" for the complete job. On the first day of the job, he showed up on time, thanked us for packing our stuff into boxes, and politely said "come back in a couple days and it will be done." Sure enough, on day 3 it was finished. He was even able to get the new floor under a custom closet without any trace. Treadline was highly recommended to us, and we will do the same to anyone who has flooring or general carpentry needs.

It went extremely well. Ovi was recommended to us by another company. Ovi showed up when he said he would and took the time to find out exactly what we were doing in our home. He was able to recommend exactly what we should do and the order everything should be completed in. After accepting his quotation, we arranged an installation time and Ovi showed up and completed all the work exactly as he promised. His attention to detail and quality materials shows.
