They did a good job. There were no problems. They were quick and cleaned up when they finished.

I love the guy. He gave us the connection for custom made cupboards that are cherry that are absolutely gorgeous. This kitchen matches our 1930's house. Everything came from him. He gave us who to go to. He was fantastic. They subcontracted the job. The guy is a gold mine of information. Just every step of the process, the guy was a walking encyclopedia and give you help and info. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He's fair and honest. It's excellent work. He uncovered 5 layers of flooring to uncover a 100 year old floor and then matched the other half of the room with oak. The guy is phenomenal. He gave me everything I wanted. He's all about pleasing the woman. He was always on time and the guys showed up. He was totally professional. He's the best professional I've ever met in a construction company. He's like your little old grandpa friend next door but he's young and full of energy and he is just the friendliest, honest, informative professional I've ever worked with. I would have him back in a heartbeat. I can't wait to bring him back. He follows through on everything. He does a fantastic job. He is the guy you want.

They took weathered hardwood and made it look better than when it was new...outstanding!

They were very helpful and prompt. We discovered that the Angie's List deal didn't apply to our hardwood floor refinishing requirements, so we didn't end up using them.

They were very responsive; answered questions quickly and helped settle on dates. Very flexible too. I was trying to schedule cabinet refinishing as well and they were more than happy to work around my schedule. The finished product is beautiful and we are so happy with the color and finish.

Treadline ensured the new hardwood flooring blended into the existing and adjacent areas by sanding and finishing the job with a 10 manufacturer’s limited warranty Swedish finish. When finished, all of the flooring looked outstanding. The two men who were working on the job, were quite knowledgeable and professional in refinishing the floors. One thing my wife especially liked was the dustless sanding system. There was virtually no In addition, they do an excellent job of masking over items. I have a hanging pot rack in the kitchen area where they were refinishing and they had no problem masking over it. My wife and I were very pleased with the job they performed. They delivered exactly what they stated in their estimate. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their floors refinished or repaired.

Ovi and his team were wonderful to work with. He responded really quickly and come over on Sunday and started our project Monday! His quick response was much appreciated. The floors look great. He was very knowledgeable about and his insights and recommendations were spot on. Thanks Ovi and team!

Absolutely no problem with contractor. Gave timely and reasonable estimate. However would not be able to fully utilize Big Deal due to less square footage than covered in Big Deal. More importantly considered having more floor refinished. However have elderly cat with bad bathroom habits in home. Decided better to wait until she is no longer with us whether that is two months or two years. PS she is holding her own at the time.

The work went well. The sanding was a bit risky. Other companies who bid wouldn't touch our engineered floors fearing their sanding would sand through the remainingn veneer. However, the other two bidders (highly rated companies on AL) didn't even bother to come out to the house (both did over-the-phone bids). Treadline examined the veneer carefully and felt they could do the job. They did include a disclaimer in the contract if they ran into problems with the floor, they'd do the best they could to repair the parts that wore through, but coudn't guarantee it. (the engineered wood portion) We accepted the conditions and they set to work over a three day period. We moved out of the house while the sanding/restaining took place. Even though they used a "dustless" sander, there was dust everywhere after the job, but probably less than it would have been with a regular one. The final result were beautifully restored floors--esp in the kitchen where the engineered wood became like new. There were so many nicks and gauges in the floor we wondered how it would look, and Treadline nailed it. They look so well--beyond our wildest imagination. The other oak floors in the rest of the house looked great, too. We were thrilled with Ovi's professional and reliability, and good nature. Great job Treadline! I'd use them again and recommend them to others.

Excellent. Ragalie Ovi owner, came to my condo to give me a bid on refinishing my floor and stairs. He was very informative, professional and cordial. Contract was exact and work was completed as promised.

Treadline was quick to come out to give an estimate. Though they were not the least expensive quote ($3.00/sq ft for refinishing the hardwood floors) we decided to go with them due to their promise of fitting us into their schedule, Once the contract was signed, they informed us they were booked and would have a difficult time fitting in. After discussions they came in the next week with three crew members. They encountered an area that needed patching that delayed them. Other issues arose of the crew leader not being informed that 1/2" molding around the baseboards was part of the job. A transition to the bathroom was omitted from the bid as well. Prior to the job being finished we received an invoice. When the omitted transition had to be added to the invoice, it was hand written in at the time of payment. Upon the final completion, screw holes in the floor were not filled in. The owner came out the final day to complete the job, surely rushed, and informing me they "lost money" on the job. The 1/2" molding was laid down but the nails securing the molding were not inserted entirely. We asked if they would take care of all the nails and they failed to complete it. They seemed in a hurry to get the job done and their quality control near completion was less than expectations. When we asked for a final walk through, they shrugged as if this request was a something out of the norm. In summary, my expectations for quality and professionalism was not met using Treadline.

Finally getting around to this review... First have to say that Ovi is very personable and professional. Even if he hadn't offered the best estimate, of the 3 we had, he was so pleasant that I would have wanted to give him the work anyway. I seldom feel that way- especially when negotiating such a large job, monetarily. Our estimate was performed before we had taken possession of the property, so our time frame was very tight. He was prompt and helpful in explaining the many options and techniques available. As well, our window for getting the work done was equally tight. (we had sold our previous home and were living in an apartment). He was willing and able to adjust his crew to get the job done. He was more than happy to discuss my concerns and budget. Our oak floors are @ 50 -60 years old and probably had never been refinished. They had been heavily scarred by decades of shoes and boots and pets. We wanted to retain the floors' natural patina and character. We were literally shocked with how well the entire house looked when they were finished. Many rooms have difficult edges to reach -such as under baseboards and a stairway- and it all looks great. They even refinished surface areas- such as inside the closets- which we hadn't discussed during our estimate. - This alone speaks to his honesty and professionalism. Given the scale and expense of the job, I expected to have a least a couple areas of concern, but there has been nothing to scrutinize - and really, that's the way it should be. I seldom give reviews, but I'm more than happy to for Ovi and his crew. If you're looking for excellent work at reasonable prices you should at least let him give you a bid.

The house that we moved into had a 50-50 mix of hardwood floors and carpeting. Because I’m in a wheelchair, it’s important for us to lay down hardwood floors throughout the house. They did an outstanding job in terms of lacing in what had previously been the seam between several rooms that had carpet in that we took out and matching that up to the hardwood floors that was in before. You can’t even tell where the difference of those boundaries was. The finish of the work was outstanding. The responsiveness in coming back and fixing up a couple of minor issues that we had was also outstanding. The owner was an interesting guy to deal with and I really enjoyed that experience with him.

Treadline specializes on hardwood floor installations, but has a good list of subcontractors and partners. We are somewhat unique clients as my wife is a designer and I'm the handy engineer-type/control freak. We wanted flexibility to do some of the work ourselves, but didn't want to tackle the floor lacing/re-finishing, cabinets, plumbing, gas line extension, etc. We shopped everywhere for cabinets and were very happy with the price and ultimate quality of the Northwood cabinets (out of Vancouver, Wash.) that Northwood re-sold (they are a dealer). We looked at several "soup-to-nuts" design/build kitchen specialists and their quotes were $15K to $20k more than we ended up paying. Throughout the process, the owner, Ovi, was very responsive. He always answered his phone--it was very rare to get his voice mail. When I did get voice mail, he was quick to text or phone back. Ovi worked with us to meet a very tight schedule (as I was coordinating countertop vendors and doing some work myself), we were able to do the entire project from demo to finish in 2.5 weeks--the major delay was due to granite fabrication. The hardwood floor refinish went very well. They provided several color samples on our floor for us to view in our light and against the installed cabinets. This was very beneficial as the original "Jacobbean" we liked was too dark when we saw it on the floor next to the cabinets. The sanding and staining did create dust (dustless I hear means "less-dust"), but it wasn't unreasonable considering this major work. I needed to re-paint some of the baseboard, which was expected and, frankly, needed for a 15-year old home. The price of the floor work was very reasonable and on the low-side of competitive quotes. After they applied the third quote, we noticed some blemishes in a high-traffic area and they promptly fixed it to our satisfaction. Treadline and the subcontractors were on-time and courteous. They did use our restrooms, etc., which is fine by me (and it saves us money). Instead of having Ovi's team remove the old cabinets, I chose to donate them to Re-Store/Habitat for Humanity, who comes out for $200 and removes them, while providing a tax deductible receipt. They were great as well and worked along side Treadline who was demolishing the pantry at the same time. Ovi's plumber, Chip, was excellent. He completed a dishwasher, disposal, sink hook-up, hot water dispenser, and soap dispenser installation in less than 2 hours and for a very reasonable rate. Ovi used a subcontractor for the gas line extension and some venting work for the downdraft island. They did good work, but was a bit over budget. To compensate, Treadline didn't mark-up that work. We are very satisfied with the work, the end result, total cost, and the time-to-complete. I would highly recommend Ovi for any floor work or general remodeling.

They were fast and the quality was good.

The finished product was awesome. They're very good. The wood was delivered and left to age in your home to kind of get used to the moisture and they started on the the 8th of July and it was done on the 15th. I had three quotes and he was the highest but he had done my daughter's floors and I knew him and so forth. I trusted that he was going to do a really great job and then back it up.

He was very professional and punctual. I just have much more square footage than he was able to do within the price line of the special. He did say that he would give me the credit at a future date when I decided to have all my floors done. I was under the impression that Treadline had my money. I found out today that Angie's List has it and when I asked Angie's List to credit it back to my account, they had me fill out a form about Treadline that they posted. I don't think this is right. If all I want is my money back because I decided not to have the service performed, then it's between whoever has my money and me. i apologized to Treadline today for writing an incorrect review given my previous understanding. I will take the matter up directly with Angie's List at this point.

They were really good. I called and emailed a number of people and most of them did not get back to me and these people were very responsive. They got back to me and always responded to my text messages and my voice mail so he was very responsive. I thought they gave me a good price because it was 900 square feet and they did a Swedish finish. They're done in a couple of days so it was pretty fast, too. They did a good job. There were stains in the floor and I didn't have them remove that wood or anything. They just kind of made it look the best it could. I'm very happy with it. The only problem with it is that the finish smells terrible and it takes quite a while for that smell to go away.

I was happy with them. The price was right. They did a good job; I was impressed. I would use them again.

Ovi was a pleasure to work with. I scheduled a time for him to come by and walk-thru the house to discuss the work I was interested in. He showed up right on schedule for the visit. He provided advice and was great to discuss options with. I received a quote later than same day. We then promptly scheduled when the work was to begin and they started right on time. Ovi was in regular contact with me providing updates and status'. When I had questions, he was quick to respond and address them. The floors turned out beautifully, and the area where the fireplace used to be is not even noticable (both on the wall and the new flooring they installed). Just one call out - If you are getting your floors refinished and have floor vents, consider having them finished separately. My floor vents ended up being sealed in with the finish and I couldn't get them up myself, so they had to be pried off and could cause damage. (Orvi was quick to respond and made sure this was taken care of!) Just something to consider and have a discussion about before you start the work. The quality of their work was great and I would recommend Orvi and Treadline to anyone!

They pulled up linoleoum flooring in the kitchen. They turned my Douglas Fir wood floor into a beautiful, light golden color. They did an amazing job and it came out beautiful. I can't say enough good things about them. Their prices are very competitive and they went out of their way in helping me with everything they did.

We contacted Ovi by email late on a Saturday afternoon, with only a little over a week to go before our movers were scheduled to arrive. He responded very promptly, and when I then spoke with him by phone, he offered to meet us at the house the next day -- not just a Sunday, but Mother's Day -- to scope out the job. We received the estimate Monday morning, confirmed the job, and Ovi and his crew were there first thing Tuesday morning to start the job. Four days later, 2000 square feet of floors and 15 stair treads were completely sanded and finished with two coats of 10-year-warranted finish. This was exactly on the schedule Ovi promised. We obviously shouldn't have waited until the last minute to have the floors refinished, but were really impressed with Ovi's ability to juggle crews to accommodate our tight schedule. The floors look really great, and we're delighted with the way they make the whole house look. Is Ovi the cheapest guy in town? Nope. Is he the best? We think so!
