David Zimmerman has years of experience in Landscape installation and is very professional . David has a Landscape design background, had great ideas and listened to our ideas. Together we settled on a plan from which he provided a very detailed estimate which allowed us to make adjustments. He provided a detailed plan and plant list so I had a contract that speciffically identified what I would be getting. The crew was very experienced and efficient. Plants were installed in Fall 2013. After the hard freezes in December and winter of the 2014 damaged a few plants. David replaced them in the spring of 2014. David was always on time and responsive , met the budget and schedule. I would certainly hire him again.

We needed our existing irrigation system adjusted to correct problems with over/under watering in areas and we needed another irrigation zone added to a slope in our yard so we could add plantings. We originally contacted David back in June 2014 for an estimate but, for our own reasons, decided not to begin work at that time. When we called him again in December regarding the estimate, he was prompt and courteous in getting back to us, meeting with us to go over the proposal again, and honoring the original bid price on the project. We were pleasantly surprised to get on the schedule sooner than we anticipated and the work was completed quickly. While the irrigation work was being performed, I inquired about adding a gate to our existing fence. David was great at quickly getting me a quote and working the extra job into his crew's busy schedule. We couldn't believe it--three days from start to finish for the original work plus the extra work on the gate! David and his crew were pleasant and professional. The crew did a fantastic job and was great about cleaning up after themselves. In fact, it's hard to tell where they worked other than our new gate and sod. It was a pleasure working with them and we've even recommended them to a neighbor already. I hope we can use them again!

The new area is beautiful! They were here on time every morning for over a week and worked hard all day. They cleaned up after themselves daily and did some extras I wasn't expecting and the result is amazing

Dave responded to my call promptly and met with me on time and not only came up with great ideas but also ones that would save me money. The contract was very well laid out with each section having costs broken down so it was easy to understand. What I liked most was that Dave had a comprehensive idea and plan but did not charge specifically for the plan like other contractors wanted to do. In addition he was able and willing to do work in all the areas where some contractors that came out were not able to do. After the contract was signed he kept me up to date when work would start and when he and his workers arrived they had complete instructions on what to do and they came every working day until the job was completed. Dave called to check on my satisfaction and I mentioned 4 small issues which were taken care of promptly to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Dave and his crew and plan to use Terra Sol again in the future.

Just can't say enough - the two guys were so kind and pleasant they checked in periodically with us to see if we were happy - AND WE WERE - Dave the owner is so easy to work with he is thorough and communicative and they don't leave until the job is done! I can't say enough how easy this Job went! I wish more companies were this competent and easy to work with!

We have used Terra Sol Landscaping for several years. They have landscaped our front and back yards. We love their designs and really get a good value. Their employees are very hard working and consicientious. They want to please the customer. We wanted to get some new plants for our front yard and take out a ground cover that was starting to look ragged. We are very pleased!

I wanted to get rid of the steep grade on our front property. Dave, the owner, suggested to terrace the slope and build a second wall to match the first wall at the street level. We liked his suggestions and the price. Maury and Dan did an excellent job all around, but especially in building a wall to match the original which remains. They were very cooperative and easy to work with. They did a good job installing the sod, rototiling the new flat surface so we could replant, and cleaning up everything. Highly recommend this company.

Went just fine, the crew worked well, were on time and very polite and knowledgeable about all except the grout being used. The work was done well although the material used for paver "grout" did flake out after the first year and the water feature pump has been reliable. Dave was responsive to my requests to have issues resolved and has since done similar work for neighbors on my recommendation.

Quick response, realistic timelines, quick design with opportunity for 2-3 reviews with Dave before starting project, and opportunity for amendments. Crew is very hard working and diligent about how to dig up your yard and make it beautiful. Project estimated for 7 days, took 7 days. Budget estimate only decreased as we didn't need as many plants as in the original design.

It went great! Dave came up with a plan. We shared our thoughts. He was responsive and everything came together. He also has a great team. Very nice, very fast and efficient. And we were left with a beautiful result.

We have used Terra-Sol three times in our present house. I would use them again for any issues we had. I highly recommend them. They know what they are doing and are really honest, hard-working people.

The project was entirely on time and on budget. We received three bids for this project. Terra Sol's was not the lowest. It was the most detailed. Dave, Terra Sol's president and representative on this job, spent a lot of time working with us on the landscape design and choice of materials. Terra Sol installed plants, lawn, and pathways as called for in the design. The crew were great to deal with, and they worked in unusually cold temperatures. There was some delay, but that was due to the weather. Bottom line: We will do business again with Terra Sol. We highly recommend Terra Sol to others.

I was very impressed with both Dave the owner and his employees. They listened to our ideas and contributed some of their own and together our back yard leveling project came out great.

Steps make moving from one area of the garden to another much easier and safer. Irrigation system keeps the front lawn alive and green in the summer. I've had a couple of minor problems which have been addressed and fixed in the irrigation system at no additional cost.

David was extremely professional and knowledgeable about sod installation. He was also on-time for his appointment and provided me with an estimate within a few days. Unfortunately, his bid was $500-$1000 higher than all the other bids I received, so we decided not to go with his company.

They were very prompt with returning our phone calls and extremely nice when they came our for the quote.

We originally contacted David at the end of last summer because of his claim to use only earth friendly products. When he came to our house for a bid, all of his recommendations for routine maintenance involved the use of chemical herbicides and pesticides. Against our better judgement, we selected him to design and install a new landscape in part of our yard. We agreed that he would remove a portion of the compacted, clay-like soil from our yard, and replace it with good quality soil so that the new plants could flourish. We weren't home during the installation, but the new plantings were surrounded with new dirt and we assumed everything had been done as agreed. Now that spring is here and we have spent time weeding the new area, it is clear that none of the old soil was removed. His men simply put about 3/4" of topsoil on top of our old compacted dirt. Now our old ground cover is growing up through the new dirt, and our soil is as compacted as it ever was. I feel like we gave him way too much money for a job that was not performed, and that he was dishonest about his earth-friendly credentials.

The yard on our 1969 home was really overgrown and unmaintained when we moved in a little over a year ago. The yard has 3 tiers that were really just muddy slopes because there were no steps, paths or retaining walls to hold any of the soil in. I knew just from research and talking with other people that re-doing our entire yard could quickly and easily cost upwards of $20-30K. I called Dave after reading good reviews on Angie's list and he scheduled a time to come out on a Saturday so both my husband and I could be home. Dave really listened to what we were saying, offered suggestions for solutions along with pros and cons of different types of materials. I gave him our "if money wasn't an issue" wishlist, but told him I knew we probably wouldn't be able to do it all. As expected, the full design was more than we could afford, but Dave was really willing to work with us to prioritize and decide what elements to incorporate in order to get it down to our budget number. Throughout the design and bid process, Dave was very responsive and checking in with me to see if we had questions or had made any decisions. Two other companies (also well reviewed on Angie's list) didn't even follow up with me after their bid or acknowledge my email when I let them know I was still reviewing bids. Dave really went the extra mile with his professional design and responsiveness, as well as being very competitive with his bid, so it was really an easy decision to use Terra-Sol. They wanted to start a couple days early to take advantage of the good weather for grading. We had planned to do a little more demo ourselves, so starting early meant that Dave's crew had to do a little bit more demo than originally planned, but they took care of it no problem and didn't even charge more on our final bill. The crew was very pleasant and polite--just the kind of people you like to have working on your home. They took a little less than 4 days to complete the work, which was an amazing transformation in that short amount of time. I am really pleased with how the yard turned out and have received so many compliments from friends who knew what it looked like before. I would definitely call Dave if we need more landscaping work done in the future.

The job was scheduled within two or three weeks, and they kept to their schedule of completing it in three days. They brought in heavy equipment for the job, and they cleaned the walkways and driveway each night before leaving for the day. They had 2 or 3 employees on site most of the time, and up to 6 men for part of the work. They were polite and worked wtihout any issues or problems. Dave stopped by to check on the progress several times and kept in contact with the onsite crew chief. The outcome was fantastic and we've received many compliments from neighbors and passersby about what an improvement it is. This company was easy to work with and performed as promised.

The service by Terra Sol Landscaping was excellent. We had several bids and they were very reasonable. We thought the work was excellent. They gave us a discount for being an Angie's List member. He came and did the work and they were punctual and on time and he gave us a time frame and did the work within the time he gave. He made drawings when giving us the bid which other bidders didn't do. He was very professional.

I can't praise this firm highly enough. I interviewed a number of firms before selecting Terra Sol. Terra Sol stood out from the rest for their total professionalism and follow-through on every aspect of the job. David Zimmerman, who owns the firm, was extremely patient and thorough in describing every aspect of the work involved and drew up a wonderful landscaping plan that addressed a number of very difficult problems. TerraSol's staff was perfect: courteous, professional and very hard working. I could go on all day about this firm but suffice it to say that they are excellent in every respect. I strongly encourzge you to use them. You won't be disappointed.

David was prompt and courteous in coming to our house to look over the work that needed to be completed. He gave us a proposal and as the wrok went on it was deemed that new soil was not needed and he reworked the bill. His workers were prompt, conscientious, diligent and respectful. They made the yard look brand new. We were very happy with all thier work.

We received 3 bids before we found David at Terra-Sol. We had some drainage issues and a limited space available. One of the contractors wanted 50% four weeks up front and that is just not acceptable. He wanted make sure we were committed to the job. None of the three had a good solution for the drainage issue. When David dropped by our house spoke with confidence of a man with years of experience in landscape design. He gave suggestions on how we can fix the drainage issue and he gave us a drawing on how the finished product would look. He said he would not need payment until the job was completed and this gave more confidence that he could get the job done and done right. He gave us an approximate time for the start of job and actually was able to get it done a week sooner. When job was completed we had some minor issues with the job and he came by the very next day and fixed them to our complete satisfaction. To quote my wife it looks ?beautiful? . David is a professional and I would recommend him without any hesitation.
