We always use Marvin when having computer problems. He is very professional, explains in detail what he is doing with your computer and is available to answer any questions that may come up.

It was much faster than another place where I dropped off my computer a couple years ago. And Marvin has been around long enough, he knows the nuances that exist.

Customer satisfaction is clearly Marvin's most important goal. He had encouraged us to use a back-up drive when he originally delivered the computer, and he wrote two software programs for us so that both we and our son could back-up our computers with just a click of a button. That back-up is what turned this from a disaster into just a blip in the radar of our computer use. I had backed up our hard-drive just before we left on the trip, so Marvin was able to restore everything. It gives me great peace of mind, knowing that his computer knowledge and expertise is just a phone-call away.

I called Marvin because my 7 year old Dell was totally bugged out and really dysfunctional. Marvin recommended a new computer rather than a fix. He correctly pointed out that the Dell was way past it's expected life and I could spend a lot for him to fix it, and be calling him soon afterward when something new broke. His approach, knowledge and customer service attitide impressed me. Because of this and his positive reviews, I decided to have him build a new machine for me. The new machine works beautifully, and my wife and I are very happy with it. He also oriented me and my wife on Discovery 7 (the new windows operating system- very nice and user friendly) and built in some very handy shortcuts. In the process of transferring data from the old to new machine, he organized everything, which makes the desktop presentation much cleaner. He also provides a one year warranty. It took two business days to get my new machine, which was very convenient in terms of downtime. I had previously had him install a backup system, and he also took great care in pointing out what to watch for to ensure my data is always backed up properly. All in all, Marvin is absolutley first rate. I recommend him highly.

In December 209, Marvin fixed one of our computers which had a virus. We were impressed with his expertise and professionalism, so we had him back to tune up second computer. He also put in a backup system for both computers. Both computers are running smoothly! Marvin is very knowledgeable and takes the time to help one understand how their computer works and what needs to be done to keep it in great shape.

Marvin analyzed our computer needs and what we could re-use from the old system. He provided a custom built system that more than meets our needs and exceeded our expectations. He is prompt, professional and told us upfront the exact cost. He will forever be our "computer guy" and we recommend him highly.

At an earlier visit, Marvin and I discussed exactly what I wanted in a new computer. He made some suggestions for changes I might make before he picked up my current machine. A few days later he picked up my old computer and in less than two days he returned with my new computer, which was configured just as my old had been. I have never had such an easy computer switch-over. The new CPU is fast, powerful and very quiet. Most importantly to me, it does not have all of the extra "junk" on it that comes installed on store-bought computers. It only has what I want it to have. The back-up programs that Marvin wrote and installed help keep our computers safe and are very simple and fast to use. This was all done in the space of about three hours total, with two visits to remove the old and install the new. And I also appreciate that Marvin explains what he has done. Although I have used computers for many years, I always learn something new when he visits to service or install.

He comes to the house and does a good job. He responds to emergencies and comes within a week on normal circumstances. He gives advices over the phone.

We contacted Marvin to see if he could salvage our home PC that had crashed. After inspecting the machine, he was forthright in laying out our options. He explained the pros and cons in terms of price, reliability, etc and not once did he engage in any hard sell for his products or services. All this he did very patiently with a touch of humor and in simple, non-tech language. Although he spent more than an hour going over our home PC and providing us advice, he refused to charge any fee because he had not been able to fix it. The hard drive was just completely dead -- very old. He also tried to repair our laptop, which could not install/update the Windows patches due to some glitch with Vista. Marvin didn't charge us for his time doing that either. He probably could have fixed it had we been able to provide him with the OS disk (which didn't come with our laptop because we need to request it from the manufacturer when and if we need it). The next time we need any help installing or repairing a computer, Marvin?s definitely going to be our guy. We recommend him unreservedly.

Excellent experience. Marvin replaced the hard drive, wrote a very simple program to back up files and "washed" my computer. Very timely, accurate, informed, competent, reasonable, friendly, honest. Outstanding!

Service call in July. Many problems that Marvin took care of. Found out he also builds custom computers. Gave me a price (all top of line components), no pressure to buy. Thought it over, now have a top of the line computer. Included in price was delivery and time spent to transfer all files from old to new. Marvin knows his computers if he can't fix it you don't pay. Always considerate of your time. If he has to be late always calls with the reason.

Marvin and his wife Rita provide good communication and follow up. He is very punctual and accommodated our schedule. He took home both computers to do the data transfer, thus saving us a lot of money. He explains things well, is very meticulous and transferred all our data just as we asked him too. Nothing whatsoever was lost! Marvin delivered back our computers within the week, and made sure the new computer is working well. We were very pleased with Marvin and will be sure to use his services again in the future. He is reliable, honest and very knowledgable. He also warrants all his work. We found out after we already bought our computer that Marvin would have designed a custom made computer for us. Next time! Call Marvin, you will be glad you did. I had an appointment for Marvin to come out and download all our data from the old computer to the new one. When he came out he explained to me that it would probably take him 4 hours to do, paying $80/hr. He said that I could save a lot of money by letting him take both towers home. That way he would only charge me 2 hours worth of work, because he could be working on more than one machine ( I guess there's a lot of time waiting for data to download). To make a long story shorter, he will be picking my computers up next week and then bringing them back a couple of days later. He seems like a great guy and guarantees his work 100%. I'm looking forward to having the work done.

It was more money than I wanted to spend, but the computer runs beautifully and I wasn't ready to replace it yet. I think Marvin is knowledgeable and I trusted him. He also gave me an Angie's List discount.

I found Marvin to be very knowledgeable. He did not waste time trying one thing and then another. He seemed to know exactly what to do to hunt down and eliminate the problems. He also carefully explained all that he did. He was very professional.

Marvin called to say he'd be fifteen minutes late. I appreciated that. When he arrived, we talked briefly about the problems and he went to work, explaining what he was doing and why (not that I understood it all. Not his fault, I'm technically challenged). After an hour and a half, he had checked for viruses, spy ware, took off things I didn't need, reconfigured those I did, and my computer runs like new. And I learned a lot along the way. Now his card is taped to my computer; I'd never hesitate to call him in the future.

Marvin has been my computer man for years. He built my PC years ago with quality components that have lasted much longer than PC's from big box stores. He works very efficiently. I'm always amazed at how much he accomplishes in his visits. He has an immense amount of computer knowledge gained through pure experience over the years. I have recommended him to people at work, friends, relatives. All were pleased with his work.

Marvin was very good at explaining the complex workings of my computers. He was patient and went through and answered my list of questions with ease. Later I had a couple of questions for him and he gladly took my phone call and cleared up my questions. He recommended some things I might want to add to any new computer I order, such as a automatic backup drive. He provided a low pressure estimate to replace my PC.
