I paid $170 for a report which they indicated that my damper motors on my system had worn out - great. When I asked them to repair, they told me that someone would reach out to me to schedule a time to repair the system. No one called me. I called and left messages for their geothermal manager a number of times, but she has yet to call me back. They are completely disorganized and unprofessional. I get a sense they only want easy jobs and do not want to do anything too labor-intensive. I would not recommend them.

Sky forgot to patch up one of my crawlspace vents they had to cut into where they installed some tubing for the a/c. After a few seasons, I had a large number of rats coming and going into my crawlspace through the broken mesh. I took pictures (even comparing another crawlspace mesh in my house that they HAD properly sealed back up after installation). When I called Sky to ask that they repair the mesh and assist with the rat clean-up, they outright refused. Don't use this company, unless you want bad work (and perhaps rats) and ignored phone calls after paying them.

Great. They are very dependable, cleaned up after themselves. I feel they are honest and reliable.

Brian repaired our A/C in under an hour and with a forecast of 80's-90's this week, we are lucky to have had it repaired in under 48 hours!!!

In general things went fine. My heating ducts worked well to distribute the heat when I had the oil furnace, but when I changed to gas, there were cold spots that couldn't be corrected, and the furnace struggled to raise the temperature in the house, but would hold the temp OK after it got there. They tried really hard to work with me on this issue, and didn't charge me for the first few visits, so I don't have any complaints about the company.

The estimate: I really liked Greg and how he used computer to estimate the cost of running the AC for the year. It really determined what size Trane AC we needed. Greg called me a few days later while i was also getting other estimates. They said that we have room next week for the install and was there anything they could do to help us decide. They changed the price some and added in some free add on's which made it close to other estimate's. The Install: Roberto (whom i did not meet before but was the foreman) came pretty much on time in the morning and he was very informative and nice. I enjoyed talking with him. We went over the plan for the day and what was in the estimate. He started work. Only hiccup of the morning was that the Electrician had to make an adjustment and we had to lose an outlet to make room for the AC power, but that was kind of expected and I was ok with it. My issue started around 3:30 pm. Roberto informed me that they were finishing for the day and will have to come back tomorrow. He said this really was a 2 day job and they could finish tomorrow or some time next week. Air ducts were not connected to a few rooms still and the thermostat was not connected. I told him, i was going to call the company and i know it is not his fault, it was just estimated poorly. I called and told them this issue. I would have difficulty taking another day off of work and that i was not happy. I was told that this will be addressed and they would call back. Within about 30 min Greg called back and said that they could finish the job this evening and bring the crew back. I was nervous because I was scared of them not doing quality work from being rushed, but he said it would be good. This Incident and my complaining brought their grade from an A to B. So Greg came to the house after an hour and Roberto showed back up. They began work around 5:00. My wife stopped off to Fred Meyer and bought them sandwhiches for going the extra mile to resolve this issue. We did have to cancel our dinner that night since they were working. They finished the job around 8:30pm. They went through everything they did and I was happy with workmanship. Battling an old house can be difficult and the changes they had to make were perfect. Since it was so late, i did not go looking around the entire basement at every detail. The next day i had time and went through the basement. They did not do a very good job at cleaning up after their work. Metal pieces, saw dust, and trash were scattered around the work area. I even found a pack a cigarette's that was left by the electrician. You can see this evidence in the pictures i attach. I always think how it would be if someone did work for an elderly person and they could not clean up after the workers. It should look like it was before the work. This brought their score from B to C. The last incident occurred a couple of days later. After 2 days of nice weather we finally used the heat on Saturday. As the heat went on, the furnace started to leak water. (See pic attached) The water condensor must have not hooked up properly or a connection was loose. I had to call the company and On-call service called me back. He said that the issue would have to be resolved on Monday. I told him i was not happy but if that is the best he can do, what could i do. About a hour later, the on-call service man called back and said he could be there in 30 min. I said fine. He showed up and worked on the furnace for about 20 min and tightened the fittings and connections. this last incident is what brought the grade from a C to D.

Communicative, professional, and effective. Zero drama in the whole setup and work process. I wish everyone was this way.

The service went fine. They were on time and did the job and left the area clean. The only problem I had was they were busy with other services and they basically forgot about the service I purchased. If they're busy, I would appreciate a call saying hey, we can't get to you right away instead of me having to track them down and get them scheduled.

The service tech showed up and called me to tell me what needed to be repaired, but could not tell me when they would be able to get to it due to a snow storm coming in. I understood the circumstances, but at the same time I needed the heat to be restored immediately and not having an estimated time frame was unacceptable to my situation. I called someone else and they repaired the unit the following morning. I called and canceled further service from Sky.

On time, quick and efficient work. Trustworthy.

It went well. They came when they promised and called ahead to let us know they were on their way. They finished promptly. I had already changed the filters, so they left me a new one to use later. The price may have been a bit higher than some competitors, but the value received made it more competitive.

I called Sky on Monday and Amy said it looked like the earliest appointment was Thursday- I mentioned that we had no hot water and said I was hoping for something sooner- Amy said she would see if she could move things around. She called back telling me a service person would be here Tuesday. Rick Crouch was here promptly at 2- he found the problems, serviced our water heater and got it back to proper service. He pointed out a few things to watch for, and gave me a few tips on how to keep the unit in tip top shape. The price was reasonable, he was professional and very knowledgeable.

Rick arrived on time, did the work promptly, explained everything I had questions about, then had the part ordered and returned to install it once it arrived. So glad to have done this before the spate of really cold weather over the holidays. I truth Rick to do the work right (he'd done the inspection & service last year, too).

Rick was the responding technician for both of my appointments. He is extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable! On both occasions he explained the technical workings of the system in laymen terms making the maintenance and ownership of a furnace seem less intimidating. The company is very prompt in responding to inquiries and sending out a technician to assist.

Travis Smith, the company owner, is extremely knowledgeable. Even my contractor was impressed the way he explained about what needed to be done to our furnace to make it run more efficiently. Very well. They offered the best price out of four bids. The estimator (Karin) was wonderful and honest with us, did not try to up sell us on a unit we did not need. The office staff was friendly and helpful on the phone. No issues with the service or the installation.

Rick was great! This is the 2nd time the condensate pump has been the issue in last four years. Next time, IF I have time, I will probably DIY it as the pumps (new one supposed to be better DiversiYech ClearVue - [*** Link removed ***] appear to be significantly less costly than what I paid, BUT I was really paying for a biggish problem to be taken care of by professionals - and Rick was, again, very knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Hopefully this pump will last!

We decided to go with a heat pump and furnace combination, which upped our cost from just replacing the AC and furnace. Sky Heating's bid for a heat pump was in line with other bids we saw, but we chose Sky Heating because a friend had a great experience and we appreciated that as a bigger company, they could get to us faster and complete the work in a short amount of time. We were concerned about the timing because it was August and there was anticipated high heat coming. They started with the duct cleaning. This is the only area I would say wasn't perfect. Duct cleaning is messy, but the workers left our bathroom a mess and we didn't realize it until company came over that night. Once the actual work to install the heat pump happened, it was smooth sailing. Roberto was professional and punctual. He was knowledgeable and offered guidance on where to put the upstairs monitor. We also had someone walk us through how to use the fancy new digital and wifi capable wall unit to control the heat pump. Both were great. Roberto left our garage clean each night as well. Sky Heating's office set up our inspection based on a phone call to establish our availability and then followed up to tell us how to check the websites for actual inspection time, etc.

Sky Heating does an excellent job. They always arrive when they say they will, the technicians are courteous and very knowledgeable. We have had them service our heating and air conditioning units for three years now and are completely satisfied.

The service technician was very helpful & answered all my questions. He even showed me how to reset the thermostat. I was quoted a price for furnace & air-conditioner. There was an additional charge for the air cleaner which I thought was part of the furnace! I felt the cost was excessive for what was done.

The technicians arrived and determined the freon was low. Added freon to the system and verified proper operation.

I am super-pleased with my experience working with Sky. The rep who came out to look at the job and put together the offer (Karin) was really thorough and knew her stuff. She discussed the pros and cons of various options and helped me make a good choice that fit my budget and had the features I needed/wanted. I didn't have a gas line or meter at my house, so she did the legwork with NW Natural and got that process all scheduled and completed at no cost to me. The guys who did the installation (Zach, Dan & John, plus another guy whose name I didn't get) were all great. Very friendly, showed up right on time, communicated clearly about the normal events of doing a furnace/AC installation (like having to shut power off for a few minutes, letting me know about noises, smells, etc. before they happened, etc.) They worked quickly and did a nice, clean professional installation! They hauled away the old furnace and the fuel tank (which was in the garage), and left everything looking great when they were all finished. I could not be happier with my new furnace and AC! I thought their pricing was competitive with other providers I got quotes from. It's hard to compare apples to apples, but they were in the ballpark of their competitors. I choose Sky mainly because I had the impression that they would be easy to work with and would provide good customer service. Turned out that my instincts were right. I can recommend Sky without hesitation.
