Description of Work: Sky Heating has been servicing our a/c and heating units for almost 14 years now. We have a service contract with them and they come out twice a year to make sure our units are in working order. With the service contract, we pay $175 a visit. The technicians can also tell us when something is going to need replacement soon and the contract also gives us a discount on parts. In truth, I have never priced any other companies because in the 14 years we've used them, our a/c and heating units have run smoothly. This September, just before a hot spell, the a/c motor was making a racket and it died. Sky came out immediately and replaced the motor same day. Disaster averted. In this day and age, it's amazing "not" to replace an appliance every few years, but Sky heating maintains our equipment nicely and efficiently. | |One tiny thing in the negative column is that I've noticed over the last couple or maybe more years is that I don't get reminder calls to have units serviced. I remembered when Barb used to call like clockwork to set those appointments up and to renew three year service agreements.

They bought the mailing list from the company that installed my furnace a couple of years ago. | |On April 2, the tech Les arrived at 8 a.m. Within minutes he caused a fire in my furnace. He stated on my receipt that he caused the following damage: | |1. To the furnace |2. Roll out switch |3. Spark Igniter |4. Wiring |5. PVC Vent Collar |6. 1' of 2" PVC pipe |7. Door Gasket. | |That day a 45 minute appointment turned into a 4 hour repair job, leaving one of the items undone (the gasket). They still have not finished the repairs. I had a perfect furnace before Sky Heating touched it. I want that back. Photos of everything available. | |

They came in w the lowest cost too of any dealer, thousands less! The new furnace made the house warm consistently, on all the time and trimmed the electric and gas bills significantly. Well worth it!

Description of Work: Sky Heating performs the annual maintenance for my AC and furnace. I've used their service for 10 years and will continue to do so. The technician is always prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. The few times I've had an emergency, they responded quickly and resolved the issue. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Had a heater problem in Feb, they came and fixed the issue the next day with complete explanation & a total review of the 8 year old Trane heater system. We spoke about getting on a yearly service to extend both the heater & air conditioner's life. They came again in April for the air conditioner tuneup. Both times, the technicians were prompt, professional, shared knowledge and did a good job. The $199 is for 2 visits a year.

Description of Work: There was a defective part on the unit ( not sky's fault), but it took them almost a month to get back and fix it. Other than that, the company was great to work with.
