Description of Work: The very old forced air electric furnace was on it's last leg. I called Sky Heating and they sent out a tech to check it out. The technician found that two of the heating strips were burned out. He told us that finding those strips for this old furnace was not likely. In view of how old it was we asked them to replace the furnace with a new forced air electric. | |They did the load calculations to determine what capacity was needed to heat the home and they got the new forced air furnace with that capacity to heat the home. They installed it in one day. The furnace installer and the electrician they sent on the job were very professional and friendly. The job went very well and we are pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Although I clearly specified the make and model of my heat pump in the original order form and also spoke again to the office about the heat pump before the service appointment, the service could not be performed because Sky does not work on my type of heat pump. The service man as well as the receptionist told me that the office would call me back with a referral, but they never did. I believe that Sky should return my $129.95 fee for a service that was not performed.

Description of Work: I've used the maintenance provider service with this company for 11 years. On the date shown it was time for my annual heating checkup that took about 38 minutes to complete. The technician arrived on time at 8:00am. I was told he would arrive between 8 and 9 depending on traffic. Upon his arrival the technician informed me it could take from 30 minutes to an hour to perform the check up. When he entered my home to check the thermostat he wore protective shoe coverings. He was professional at all times with a pleasant demeanor. I will continue to use Sky Heating as I've done for 11 years. Their cost to perform annual maintenance checks for my furnace and AC are excellent at $115 per session based on other firms I've checked.

Description of Work: It's been a few years since I had to call them out. My furnace was no longer running and they had to change out a power supply or something like that. They also inspected my heat pump and found that there was a short and took care of that. They went above and beyond my call to help me. If they had not looked at the heat pump, I probably would have had to call them back out at a later date, which would have cost me more. The pricing was average, thus the C rating.

They came and fixed our old air conditioner during the 104 degree weather when the company who had installed it 3 years previous and just did a maintenance check the week before the hot weather would not come back to fix it.
