It was the worst of all experiences. Joe was not able to understand architects or engineers plans enough to do the job properly. He made countless errors right off the bat & would absolutely not take responsibility for his mistakes. To name a few of the big ones: poured foundation wall 4 inches too high (causing all new structural plans to be written), ignored specifications of anchor bolt placement so that most that he did place had to be cut off by the framers, did not place a single hold down during pour & then went back on his word to retrofit them, poured foundation walls 6'' out of square to existing house, & underestimated the amount of concrete needed for the job by a full cement truck load! These are only the big ones, not to mention the time and money he cost us due to delays, ignoring our calls, and making promises he would later not keep. He was absolutely unprofessional beginning in dealing with matters as they arose. On a positive note, his workers are good guys.

The overall job looks great. Joe Dionne (owner) and his crew are very good at their craft - the quality and appearance of the job are excellent. Only suggestion is that they do a better job of keeping the project on schedule and/or keeping the customer informed of delays.
