+ 3 moreSteve was thorough, precise, polite, communicated well, and was very neat in doing potentially messy work (removing plaster). He provided bids for all the work I asked for and when I reconsidered some of the projects, easily adjusted the bid and began work on the projects I identified. All were completed smoothly. Phone calls were promptly returned, he was cheerful, and after all the work was completed and I was thanking him, he said, "Well, I just try to work on a house like it was my own". That says it all!
Description of Work: Steve is a General Contractor who does carpentry and cabinet making, along with a myriad of other home repair/building skills. He was provided to me as a subcontractor for some flood restoration work. When I wanted to get some additional unrelated work done, the original contractor suggested I contract separately with Steve. He ended up being more reliable than the original contractor. Steve provided a roofer for a small roof repair, installed both a new sink and dishwasher, prepared a plaster wall for later tiling, and re-built some kitchen cabinets and replaced baseboards. He also re-engineered another set of cabinets to make room for a larger stove.
