Grimm's Fuel Company has been providing fuel and landscape material delivery to business and residential customers within the Portland, OR, metro area since 1930. Our business initially opened with the singular goal of delivering home heating oil. Today, our team provides a variety of help to building owners, from furnace care to mulch delivery. At Grimm’s Fuel Company, our services include: • Fir or hemlock barkdust • Garden mulch • Cedar chips • Organic compost and topsoil • Decorative rock • Furnace and boiler repair or installation • Heating oil delivery For those who are not familiar with barkdust, it is an attractive landscaping product that provides insulation in the colder months and helps plants retain their moisture during the warmer months, as well as stops weeds and improves soil drainage. Our barkdust, as well as our other landscaping materials, is available by three methods: self-pick-up, delivery or delivery with installation. Grimm’s Fuel Company offers both medium and fine grinds in various shades, from traditional red to dark brown or black mulch. With several locations throughout the metro area, you can be assured that service will be provided quickly and efficiently. Description of Work: They blew in 1-1/2 units of garden mulch. They followed my instructions about avoiding the foundation, rhodedendron trunks, and edges of slopes (to avoid the mulch washing onto hard surfaces). Had to work around gravel paths in planting beds. Covered everything I wanted, even though he thought I might not have ordered enough. Didn't harm small plants.
