They are outstanding. A friend of mine had used them and recommended them. I have used them twice now, and they were just wonderful. They made it very easy to accommodate my schedule for the measuring and installation. I just wish I could use them more often!

Unfortunately, we were not able to give an ?A? rating for this company. We were looking for a reputable firm that could come out to seal our granite countertops with a long-term guaranty rather than doing a sealant every year or so. Crowley?s was recommended to us by the contractor that remodeled our kitchen. We were expecting great things from Crowley?s because they did an excellent job in fabricating our granite countertops and installing them in our kitchen. While the work they did on sealing our countertops was fine, trying to get a hold of someone to answer our questions and schedule a time for them to come out to do the work was not very good. When we first called them, shortly after getting the recommendation for our kitchen remodeler, we had to leave a message as the person we were to contact was not available. We did not receive a reply back for over a week, so we had to call them again. As the person was not available, we left another message for him to call us. He did call us back promptly, but we were not available when he called. We called him back, but he was not available and asked him to call us back. When he did not call us back that day, we called him the following day, but again, he was not available. We asked if there was someone else we could talk to about the sealant. The woman we talked to was very helpful and we scheduled a time about a week later for them to come out to the house to apply the sealant. On the evening before they were to come out, they called to tell us that they had double-booked that time and asked if we could re-schedule. It did not seem like we had any choice if we wanted them to do the work, so we reluctantly said okay and had the work re-scheduled for the same time, but a week later. We were also wondering if they really did double-book or if something else came up suddenly because you would think that a double booking would be noticed earlier than the day before the scheduled appointment. When Crowley?s came out to do the work, he was on time, friendly, and very professional. It took between 3 and 4 hours to complete the sealant process as there is a 2 hour drying time for the sealant to get absorbed into the granite. He did a good job of applying the sealant. We told our kitchen remodeler of the problems we had with Crowley's and he called them to see what the issues were. After that, Aaron Crowley from Crowely's called us and informed that there were a lot of extenuating circumstances that caused all of the problems we encountered. As a result, we are assuming that our experience with Crowley's was a fluke because they did such a great job on fabricating and installing our countertops and that once we were able to get them out to our house to apply the sealant, they did a very good job. We would still recommend them, but just be aware that we had this problem and it could happen again.

Superbly. Initially, the adhesive used to seal the seam didn't set as quickly or as firmly as they wanted it to. Instead of settling for a less than perfect job, they did that part of the job over. It meant that a half-day job became an all-day job, but they did it of their own volition and without any sign of impatience, even calling in two other employees to confer. The counter looks amazing, and the workmanship was first rate. The two workers who did the job were great.
Description of Work: Crowley's templated our kitchen for a granite counter top installation. Two or three days later they had us to their facility to have a look at their proposed layout. In my limited experience, their insistence on the customer reviewing and providing input at this stage is not all that common. We were especially pleased, as it gave us the opportunity to make a few minor adjustments to the layout. A little over a week they later came back to our house and installed it.

We had Crowleys come out and give us an estimate. We went and looked at granite using the list they gave us. Their part of having the old countertops removed and the new ones installed went pretty effortlessly. We're running into a bit of problem hearing from the people who are doing the finish work (backsplash...a tiny bit of carpentry)
Description of Work: We had Crowleys come bid on replacing our countertop. Once we found the granite we wanted, they worked with us on setting up a date to have someone come in and remove the old countertops and the next day they installed the new ones. Their part of the experience went great. We're still waiting for the person to get back to us on the backsplash and the person who was supposed to do the little bit of finish carpentry... but overall we're very happy with the experience.

They were extremely professional. Cost was higher than other quotes for my specific project, but they ultimately offered to reduce the quote to "fill some holes in their schedule." By that point I was already committed to another supplier but, if I had not been committed, I would certainly have considered using Crowley's for this project

After Crowley put granite counter tops in our kitchen they offered to let us select from their remnant granite for free on future jobs. We had them back out to put in a laundry room and two bathroom counter tops this time. Selecting remnant material didn't give us nearly as many options as buying new but there were a few good options and we like the stone we ended up with. They did a great job coordinating pickup of a basin sink with Geoge Morlan at a slight discount and rolled it into our bill. The design, demo, and install went off without a hitch.

I originally thought of using one of the large home improvement stores to do this work. Upon hearing their estimate of 3-4 weeks of the kitchen being unuseable I started looking for an alternative, and joined Angies list for the purpose. Since Crowleys was at the top of the list I visited their showroom. Of particular interest was their method of measuring the existing counters with digital marker tiles and not requiring tear out in order to template the new counter tops. Tear out 1 day , and install the next. From the moment I walked in the experience was pleasant, and constructive. Although I just walked in , I had some pictures and dimensions of the project I wanted done. Within 30 minutes I had a quote for a mid line granite including all the work (tear out, removal of appliances sink etc, and reinstallation). Although we later changed to another slightly higher priced granite, the only difference was the cost of the actual granite. Overall the initial quote was within $250 of the final cost. After having my wife vist the showroom we decided to go ahead with the project. From that point the project went on a fast track. Since I was leaving for a 10 day businesss trip soon we needed to accomplish the selection of our granite and provider rather quickly. We visited one of the providers they recommend and picked the material we wanted. Crowleys updated the quote overnight via e-mail. But because the provider had limited stock of the granite we selected, we ended up having to go to a second provider to actually pick out our slabs. Crowleys was flexible in scheduling within the limits of the work they already had scheduled to be done. But from the time we finalised the quote to install was still only 1 1/2 weeks. Since I was going out of town on a 10 day business trip I was initially concerned when my wife decided she wanted the work started while I was gone. I had no reason to be concerned! Workers arrived to remove the Existing sink, cooktop, counters and some of the backsplash on Sunday morning, since the install was to start on Monday. By 3 PM the work was done. Crowleys installers showed up at 8 Monday morning and were done with the counters by 4, although they had to return on Thursday to install the backsplash (because they needed to measure and cut them to fit the existing tile above the new counters). The other workers returned at 12 on Tuesday to reinstall the cooktop and hook up the sink. By 2 PM our kitchen was useable again. Total 2 1/2 days of not having a sink or stove. Crowleys installers returned at 12 on Thursday to install the Backsplashes and finished about 430. Overall the process was painless and went exactly as described. My wife and I are thrilled with the new look of our kitchen and extremely pleased with how well the whole project went. I would recommend Crowleys without hesitation.

They arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and made sure all of our concerns were addressed. Our under mount sink came detached after they left and they quickly came back to resolve the problem to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: We originally planned to use another countertop company as we were referred to them by the warehouse program. While their pricing was ok, and they had a selection of granite in stock, we just didn't like what we saw. So our contractor recommended Crowley and I have to say they were just great. We had them redo our Kitchen with over 70sqft of granite and 3 bathroom vanities. They were very easy to work with, friendly, and allowed us much greater control than the other company. We could choose any granite from any of the local shops, worked with them to choose where on the slab our cutouts would occur (the wife loved getting to ensure her favorite parts of the slab where on the counter where she wanted them). They also offered something unique-they could measure and template for the new counters while the old ones were still installed! The other countertop company needed the counters removed and then would take 2 weeks to install the new ones. How do you live without any counters for that long? They were also very flexible as we choose between options such as edging and slabs to use. Often at the last minute, but they happily accepted the changes.

From the first time we contacted them, they were very receptive and supportive of my needs and went out of their way to ensure all our questions were answered. After determining that we would want a quote from them, they provided us with a quote based on drawings and photos we emailed them. The quote received the next day by email was based on "an average" granite cost. We changed our granite selection several times and the quote was updated within hours. Once we finally selected the granite, the final contract was prepared. The final costs were the same as what was quoted. The installation date was scheduled about three weeks out which was acceptable to us as we had ordered new appliances and sink, plus we were doing the removal of the old countertops. A preinstallation person came to do the measuring and they use a computerized system instead of plywood templates which meant we did not have to rip the kitchen apart until the day before the installation. They invited us to the factory to approve the template layout on our granite slabs, but they are so good at ensuring flow of the pattern at seams, we were happy and had no changes. The installation crew was a team of three (normally they use two, but our job was a little larger than most). There were no fit and finish issues and the installation went very well. All the pieces fit well and the seams are not noticeable. They use a fancy vacuum tool that pulls the seams together and level the granite while the epoxy is curing. The guys worked well together and each knew what had to be done. Tidy workers, and they cleaned up the mess as it was created. The only messy part was cutting out the hole for the cooktop and downdraft venting. This had to be done on site as the hole was too big and the granite could have broken if it was moved afterwards. It took approximately 8-9 hours to complete the job. We are extremely happy with the work and the dealing we have had with them. Thanks to Leta and the sales folks and Chris and the installation crew.

My experience with Crowley's from start to finish was definitely a TEN. I went to their showroom to obtain an estimate for my project. The professional treatment I received was outstanding!. Once I received an estimate I was given a detailed explanation of what the project would entail if I chose them for my job. Three granite suppliers were recommended although I was not limited to these companies. I had worked with them before and knew they handled quality granite material. After the slabs were selected digital measurements for the new countertops were taken and a contract was written. The total was almost an exact duplicate of the original estimate. Shortly after the contract was signed a template for the new counters was finished. I was invited to the shop to actually place the template on the slabs. One week later the old countertops were removed and new under-mount sinks were installed. The next work day the new countertops were installed. Detailed directions were given on the care of the counters. The third day new faucets were installed. My kitchen and bathroom were cleaner after they left than when they arrived. The entire process, demolition to installation, took three days. Prior to choosing Crowley's companies told me I would be without sinks, etc. for three weeks. I was completely involved in this project. Written and oral information was provided. Employees were very prompt. Questions were answered on the day they were asked. I wish all companies treated their customers in this manner.

This is a well-tuned operation. They promised a complete install within SIX DAYS . This was a huge selling point AND being invited into their shop to layout the template on the granite so there were no surprises. We loved the experience and Logan gave us a shop tour which was great. It further personalized our experience. Having the additional contractors lined up through Crowley's also made the organization of this job easy for me, the homeowner. Unlike many contractors, Crowleys always arrived promptly as scheduled and returned phone calls when needed. I would recommend them without hesitation and encourage YOU to call them, too.
Description of Work: This company followed through on every detail. They tore out my tile/Formica countertops, island and backsplash. There was little wall damage from the backsplash so it's ready to go for new. They digitally measured for the countertop templates. We were invited to their shop to personally layout the template on the marble before they cut it. That was a HUGE selling point for us since our marble had a lot of movement in it that we wanted to capture. They installed the new granite perfectly. The seam was absolutely "seemless"; you really have to search to find it. They also filled in the edges of the backsplash area so it's completely ready to go.

I chose Crowley's because of Angie's List recommendations. From first to last, everything was well done. I picked out the granite, then one week before installation, Crowley's came to do a template of the kitchen. The next day, I went to their shop to check the layout of the countertops. As scheduled, a week later, a subcontractor showed up to demolish the old counters and get everything ready for the new. He was fast, friendly, and on time, and left everything as neat as a pin. The next day, the countertops were installed. It took about 3 hours (small kitchen). The following day, another subcontractor showed up to reconnect plumbing, attach the new faucet, and move the stove back into place. All the people we dealt with were professional, friendly, and on time. The new countertops are beautiful. The only drawback is that I wanted to replace my tile backsplash (the first row of which had to be removed) and they don't do tile.

We went straight to Angie's List when we started our search for a granite fabricator. We picked three companies from the top of the list and set out to visit all showrooms. Crowley's came first and we did not even look any further. All of the positive ratings we had read on the list fit with our own personal experience. The whole process involves many steps, and we dealt with several different people in the company over the next few weeks. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful along the way. They were right on with pricing and schedule. Watching the digital templating process in our house was interesting, and I really appreciated the opportunity to participate when the template was laid out on the slabs in the shop. They took care to capture the best parts of the stone. Everything went smoothly on the day of installation, and we couldn't be happier with our finished counter tops.

Very professional group of people from office to the installers. Every aspect of our job was handled well and to our satisfaction. We had a problem with our granite that was discovered after the installation (a hair line crack/fissure). Of course, we were not happy about it. But it was repaired perfectly and quickly. Once they came in and explained to us how it does (rarely) happen and the process that they would undertake to correct it, we felt reassured. The crack is not detectable and I trust that the work they did last longer than the house.

Overall the process went very well. We are very excited to have our new kitchen looking so good. We knew that this is a professional group of people when their measuring team arrived and proceeded to use a digital camera and lots of reference dots. These images are loaded into a computer and exact dimensions are computed. Their work was fast and clean with no significant cleanup required. A suggestion for future customers...call and get good directions. We hunted a bit before finding the showroom.

I liked how their contract and information they provided prior to install was very clear and specific. I did the bid process via phone and Internet which I liked better than having to be home for them to give me an estimate. I also liked that the kitchen was supposed to be out of commission for only 3 days. They were on time for doing the template. They did call and let me know that they were going to be a couple of days late on the install. The plumber they recommended agreed to come on Sunday so I would not be out of a kitchen for too many days. Unfortunately, one of the slabs cracked. Crowleys replaced it at their own cost rather than patching it. Because they had to redo a piece, it was a week later when they came to finish the installation. I am very happy with the work that they did and would recommend them despite the mishap that occurred.
