There was a delay in getting the work done because they hand off such a small job to one of their workers and they were very busy with big projects. Once I called again a month after the Original request the young man was very apologetic and came out The next day and did a good job. I would work with them again.

Crowley's team provided on-time and accurate estimates to replace two old bathroom countertops and three kitchen countertops with new granite tops. Excellent customer support from estimating, to scheduling, to coordinating the plumbing disconnect/install, countertop demoltiion, and final installation. The entire team; Leta, Vern, Bryon, John, Nathan (and sorry if I forgot anyone) were all very helpful, professional, and curteous through the entire process. All staff went out of their way to make this a nearly seamless and very cost-effective process. And the final outcome is beautiful. I couldn't be more satisfied with Crowley's work, professionalism, and on-time performance. Thanks, team!

Crowley's is great. They are widely recommended by contractors, their price is reasonable and the final product was great. They also worked with use and actually saved us $1000 by allowing us to us a remnant instead of a full slap for one last piece. Great company, highly recommend.

They did an excellent job, and they had a couple of different options for the usage of the scrap material which I took advantage of. I liked how they inset items so it was flush with the granite. I would recommend them to others, and already have.

Crowley’s has honored their guarantee.
Description of Work: Crowley’s templated, fabricated, and installed our granite countertop and backsplash and applied a Drytreat 15-year sealer in 2009. This year Crowley’s came out to add sealer to the granite overhang, between the granite edge and my undermount sink. I have had persistent mold problems. Previously Crowley’s came out twice to remove the mold and replace the caulking, but mold regrew in the area. This third time they added sealer to the same area, and I think this will make all the difference.

We were VERY PLEASED with Crowley Granite and would refer them without a question. Being new to the area I asked for a plumber referral from Crowley and they suggested Plumber Inks and being pleased with the Crowley company I had them coordinate with Plumbers Ink the disconnect ect that would be needed for the job. We were VERY UNHAPPY with Plumbers Ink their fees are unbelievable high and this is not the first time we have remodeled a home. Plumbers Ink must have thought they had a free ride and when the bills were calculated we did not have them finish the job and hired someone else that was referred to us and we are VERY HAPPY. They could not believe the fee we were charged for the job they did.
Description of Work: We are new to the area and went on Angies list to found Crowley granite. I contacted them and talked to Vern and made an appointment to meet and have him measure the areas we planned to have the granite. We choose the granite at Pental in Seattle and they had it delivered to Pental in Oregon. We met with Nathan at their store and he showed use the granite and told us the placement the granite would be placed in our home. They did and excellent job - they were professional and courteous and made excellent suggestions when we had questions.

After visiting 3 Granite sales and installation suppliers we chose Crawley's, primarily because our perception of overall quality (Angie's List Reviews) and the attention they paid to our project details on the front end of the quote. They were in the middle with price quotation, but when it came to quoting our job, they were the only contractor that actually came out to the home to bid the job. When it came to bidding, Aaron Crawley, President of the company, came out and did the bidding. We both had concerns about one facet of the project, the installation of a granite replacement for a desk surface that had an integral cabinet attached to the surface. After scoping out the process and arriving at a reasonable plan, it was Aaron who came out during installation to manage the details of that part of the project. They were right on their plan for 3 days of down time in the kitchen, from on site templating, fabricating, tear out of the existing cabinets and installation of the new surfaces and replacement of appliances and plumbing. A week later the backsplashes were installed. Crawley's were exceptionally helpful in all planning, scheduling and negotiation of project details. Pretty much everything was handled by email and a few phone calls when necessary.
Description of Work: Fabricated and installed granite kitchen countertops, center island countertops, desk writing surface, and a marble lavatory sink countertop to replace 19 year old laminated counters. They coordinated the purchase of pre selected granite slabs from a local stone wholesaler, coordinated the plumbing disassembly and reassembly, appliance moving and reinstalling, and coordinated the back splash installation. They fabricated the granite cutouts in their shop to match the detailed templates they had made on site. Where requested they disposed of old material. On day one the kitchen and lavatory surfaces was detailed, and later that day we were able to come to their shop to approve the template placement on the surfaces. On day two the surfaces were fabricated. On day three the existing surfaces were disassembled and the new surfaces installed and all plumbing reconnected. A week later the backsplashes were installed and the project was done.

All the individuals I worked with at Crowley's were friendly, professional, and helpful. They encouraged me to ask questions and patiently described the measurement and installation process of the countertops. My husband and I, along with our contractor, were able to look at the templates on the granite slab and help determine the placement for the seams. I also found a remnant piece of granite I liked for the bathroom. We were impressed with the computerized equipment used to measure the countertops and to cut the stone with exact precision. The turn around time from our intial meeting with Vern to the final installation was a little over a week. Initially, I considered Crowley's invoice cost as high in comparison with another fabrication company, but in the end, the price was very reasonable because of the installation of the additional countertop in the bathroom. There was a crack in the granite slab used for the kitchen, but Nathan was able to work around the fissure and not use that area of granite. The granite/marble company gave a discount to Crowley's on the slab because of the fissure. Leta, the lead estimator, passed on the discount to us in our final cost; I appreciated the discount. Leta and Angie, who work in Crowley's office, were very friendly and helpful. All the Crowley employees we worked with on our remodeling project were wonderful representatives of their company. I would not hesitate to request their services again. I would also recommend them to our friends. Crowley employees take genuine pride in their work.
Description of Work: Another granite fabrication company improperly installed granite countertops in my kitchen. As a result, the countertops had to be removed. I was hesitant to trust another fabrication company to properly install new countertops. My initial meeting with Crowley's Granite Concepts was with Vern, who came to the house and provided an estimate for the requested countertop replacement. Within a couple of days, Nathan came to measure the countertops, pick up the granite at the granite/marble warehouse, and create the templates for the countertops. He measured the bathroom countertop, too. Vern and Nathan told me that if I found a remnant piece of granite I liked at Crowley's warehouse, I would only need to pay for the fabrication of the granite for our bathroom. Since the installers would be at the house to install the kitchen countertops, there would be no additional travel or installation fee, and I would not be charged for the remnant piece of granite. Two installers and Brian, installed the granite countertops. The installers were very respectful of the area in which they worked and cleaned up everything before they left the premises. A few days later, Brian came to the house to look at some markings on the granite in the kitchen and to answer my questions. The marks were natural colorations in the stone.

Experience was positive from start to finish. Existing counter was measured carefully as we wanted to save the backsplash. Suppliers were extremely helpful, providing samples for color match to backsplash. Demolition and installation was carefully planned--kitchen was down only TWO days. First day: removal of tile, prep for new counter. Here is the best part: customer visits Crowley's shop, views clear plastic template overlaid on granite, works with cutter to decide on seams and maximize use of slab. We saved $ as we needed a slab and a half. Second day: 3-4 workers here on time, fit the granite perfectly, cut out sink opening on site, job was done at the end of 2nd day. Cost included visit from Crowley's a week ahead to plan the job, removal of tile, cost of sink and faucet, setting sink and faucet in place, (hubby hooked up the plumbing) and custom cutting of a dramatic curve on the peninsula. Our cupboards are 14 years old but in excellent condition--the granite makes them look brand new.

Having suffered through weeks and weeks of avoidable delays from a contractor who has made a hash of our kitchen remodel, including new granite tile counter tops which had to be ripped out, it was like a breath of fresh air dealing with Crowley's. Unlike our kitchen contractor, Crowleys showed up when they promised, protected the areas adjacent to the work, promptly installed the granite slab counter tops and left the kitchen cleaner than when they came. The island features a recessed pop-up electrical receptacle. This required programming their computerized cutting machine. Evidently the first attempt was not successful and the island slab was ruined. Crowleys provided a replacement slab perfectly cut for the receptacle. There were no complaints about the difficulty and extra expense incurred. The island slab has overhangs, which they reinforced with steel bars. The under-mount sink fits perfectly. They also reinforced the small granite strip between the sink and the counter edge. They use a precision dimensioning system that avoids having to make templates. While measuring they noted that our kitchen contractor had installed cabinets out of square and not level. The contractor corrected these problems to some extent before the tops were installed. We showed Crowley's installation crews pictures of the granite tile installation that our contractor had botched up, and whose removal we demanded. They had a good laugh at such an amateurish job by a person who claims to have installed more than 100 granite tile counter tops. Professional, competent, and friendly service.

The entire job was orchestrated beautifully by Leta (not sure if that's how it is spelled). After we chose our granite from EleMar, we met with Leta at Crowley's. She really knew her stuff. This is not something we do all the time so we were anxious as to how it was all going to come together. She was able to answer all our questions and we felt much better when we left. We were so surprised to find out how fast the entire process would be. Nathan Crowley came on a Thursday morning to do a template of our counter top. That was an interesting process, a digital measuring system. When he left he told us we could stop by that afternoon and see the layout of the template on our actual granite. We did that and it was beautiful. One week later a young man showed up at the time they told us he would be there to do the tear out of the old counter. He was so careful to lay down drop cloths from the front door to the kitchen. He was so fast but careful at the same time. He took out all the old tile back splash and it was amazing that there was only two places where some of the wall was torn. He asked if I wanted to save the old tiles and since they were very pretty I did. This part of the job took about 2 hours. He carried all the material out to his truck, vacuumed, picked up his drop cloths and left. The next morning about 9:30 two young men showed up, again at just the time they told us they would be there, and proceeded to bring in the pieces of granite. This part of the job was very detailed and took until about 5:30 that afternoon. One piece where the new cook top was going to be placed had to be cut right there in the kitchen. I was so impressed with how they worked together, the language they used with each other and with us and the fact that you could tell they really liked what they did. There were two seams in the entire kitchen which came together beautifully. You would never know there was a seam there. They put some kind of special support under the sink which was an under mount stainless steel and from what we understand that is not usual, usually the sink is glued somehow which doesn't have the kind of support this has. They also put steel bars into the granite under the overhang bar. I would check in on them every once in a while during the day and it was a real pleasure to see the kind of work they performed. The $8000. included a very nice stainless steel sink, faucet and soap dispenser. We were looking at Silestone, Cesarstone and a couple others and I am so glad we put in Granite, it is beautiful and really is alive with color. I would highly recommend the product, workmanship, people of Crowley's.
Description of Work: Crowley's coordinated with the granite company on our choice of granite, came out and did a template of our kitchen counter top, coordinated with the plumbers to disconnect and reconnect stove top and sink, fabricated the granite, installed the granite counter top and removed existing counters.

I did a compete kitchen remodel. The quality of their work is outstanding. Not only were they prompt and professional but courteous as well. I felt their prices were very competitive. The seam in the "L" part of the counter is so good you cannot find it. During the process I was able to go into the shop to help with the layout so I could choose sections for island and sides. I plan a bath remodel soon and definitely plan on using their services again.

Worth the drive. They have huge, warm, beautiful and bright showroom. This is how to pick out your granite slab! You will get the best customer service. Someone will walk you through and explain differences of each piece and variety of granite and guide you through the showroom which can be overwhelming with all the choices. They have an enormous amount of granite slabs to choose from. I recommend bringing a sample of your cabinets or flooring to showroom. It will help tremendously! They will lay out any or all the slabs that you would like to see without hesitation! You can place a hold on any slab for several weeks without any financial commitments. They will give you samples to take home with you. This place was wonderful and I enjoyed the process greatly!

From when I found Crowley's on angie's list to totall installment took 2 weeks and that was only because I couldn't decide on which granite to order!! I first met with Leta who was extremeley helpful in giving our options and where to look at some incredible granite slabs. Once we fell in love with two slabs of granite, we quickly got an appointment to sign contracts. A few days later Nathan came out to measure and six days after that our beautiful granite was installed. Everyone at Crowley's was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. This was one of the most pleasurable phases of our remodel. I would definitlly recommend them to others.

. This was indeed one of the most positive remodeling experiences that we have ever had over the past 40 years. (And there have been many) Crowley's are not only great craftsmen but wonderful people to work with. The advice we received along the way was extremely helpful. They noticed flaws in our initial selection of the granite material which we would have never noticed. Although that required us to return to the granite vendors for another selection session, we were happy to do so, if it meant a more successful project. When the installed the pieces we marveled at the precision of their measurements. Every piece fit perfectly and the seams were so well done we couldn't even find them. The final product greatly exceeded our expectations. We are very happy we selected Crowley's to do our project. We can't say enough good things about everyone at Crowley's that worked on our kitchen. They were professional in every sense of the word. We would certainly recommend them to anyone considering new countertops.
Description of Work: We initially visited Crowley's to obtain an estimate for converting our existing tile countertops to granite. All the staff were extremely helpful and provided us with a detailed list of options and costs that would be associated with the project. Because of their excellent reputation and the very impressive testimonials found on Angie's List, we decided to proceed with the project. They also provided a very complete list of granite vendors to visit in order to pick out the necessary number of granite slabs. Our initial measurements were provided so they could produce a schematic from which they could base their estimate. They then came to the house to more precisely determine all the required measurements. Templates were produced for each section with notes indicating where any seams would occur and the locations of the cutouts for cooktop and sink. We were invited to participate in the decisions of the final layout. The schedule for the project was confirmed and arrangements were made to disconnect all existing appliances affecting the project. (Dishwasher, sink and cooktop). Demolition was the next step whereas all the existing countertops and backsplash were removed. The installation occurred a few days later after they finished all the cutting, edging, sealing and polishing of the granite. The re-connecting of appliances occurred the following day.

The owner of the company, Aaron Crowley, came to my home to explain the procedural details and take some preliminary measurements. He discussed time frames and stressed the importance of customer satisfaction with me and I immediately had a good feeling about hiring his company for the job. We scheduled for the template to be done which was very high tech and it was ready the next day for me to come to their fabrication facility to decide how I wanted the template to be laid out on the granite slab I had previously selected. The demolition of the existing counter tops was already scheduled with installation slated for the following day. Aaron had stressed that it was very important to them to have the shortest kitchen down time possible. I was having floors replaced at the same time and did not realized that the floor installer was going to require a few added days that I hadn't factored in when agreeing to the granite install. Crowleys worked with me to reschedule quickly and they didn't shuffle me back the end of the line which is what I sort of expected. Demo was quick and uneventful with some minor damage done that was repaired the next day. Sam and Brian the installers arrived on time and quickly got to work. They were polite and answered the few questions that I had and didn't seem to get upset when I continually poked my head in to see how things were going along. The cleaned up everything, repaired the minor damage that had occurred the day before and shined up the granite to a high gloss. Now the only problem that occurred was when I started putting the cabinet drawers back in. I noticed gaps at the front of the cabinet face fronts. I quickly called the installers back as I was concerned that a measurement error had been made. They explained to me that it wasn't an error but that with some of the older cabinets and prior counter tops, gaps are more prevalent in some cases. A piece of trim will need to be installed up underneath the counter to hide the gaps. I expressed my disappointment to Aaron Crowley that I would have thought this would have been something that might have been foreseen and I could have been told that it might occur. Just a word to the wise here about it if you have an older home like mine (1938). Otherwise, the work was beautifully done, the seam is nearly invisible and the clean up was first rate.
