BVI Backflow

After an Initial E-mail to schedule they never completed the work and never responded to E-mails about when they were going do the work. Their voice mailbox is always full and they never answer their phone. Truly one of the worst companies I have worked with in a very long time!

They never showed up. A week after they were supposed to perform the service, I sent an email (because no one answered the phone) asking if they were still going to do the service, they said, we have you on the schedule within the next two weeks. Three weeks after that, no response, no service.

This company should be removed from Angies list and every other list they are on - I have been trying to reach them for the last 3 months to find out if they were going to do my backflow test -they cannot be reached by phone - when you call 503-858-7606 no one answers, and it sends you to a mailbox that is full. The links on their website if you can find it don't work. Today I went looking for their web site and it won't even come up [*** Link removed ***] - something is not right with the company. I have received a bill from them for testing this year, but since I could not reach them I hired someone else to do it. I will be contacting them by email and postal mail to stop testing my system without my permission.

The test was not completed as requested. When I asked about it, I was told via email that they were short-handed and they would get to it "within the next two weeks". That didn't happen. I've emailed several times to ask them what is going on. They repeatedly said they would get to it in the next two weeks. Never happened. It's now early December 2017 and I still do not have a report. Now it appears that they've deleted my online account. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend them and would not hire them.

Provided service as prescribed and for a reasonable price. Setting up the appointment was easy and performed when scheduled. Pricing was much better than previous service providers. So far, I'm very satisfied and plan to do business with BVI in the future.

Since we bought our home we've just been using the testing company the previous owner used. This year we received a mailing from BVI advertising half the price we were paying. I don't normally respond to ads like this but decided to give them a try. David was very responsive to emails. The testing was done and we received a report. The previous company never once gave us a report, just a bill. I got the impression that BVI charges less because they schedule all of their jobs and then group them together based on location which means they can do more houses in less time. The other company just seemed to come out when you called. The service was faster, but more expensive and less efficient.
