Excellent, would call them again, first.

I set up appointment for septic tank pumping on Monday on the preceding Friday. Monday, I left for work. Wife was home. I told my wife I would place rock approximately where I thought tank was. (After lady on the phone told me they had a locater) Guy came out and dug for 1.5 hours under rock's location, found tank but couldn't find lid. Wanted to bring excavating company in for a $300+ hourly rate. Stated I had a cess pool most likely, since the lid looked like it would be 8' in diameter (based on the 3x2 foot hole he had dug), and they would need a backhoe to lift lid. When I questioned that the tank was pumped 5 years ago during home inspection at home purchase for a cost of $350, rep was stumped. I fired them and called Riverside Environmental on a friend's recommendation. They came out, located the lid, pumped the tank, and were gone within 2 hours (same day). Don't waste your time with this company.

These people are all about service and their prices are very, very reasonable. I talked with his wife, who works with him, on the phone probably 5 times before they even came out. She was so patient and professional, taking the time to answer all my questions and address special requests. They drove over an hour to do the work and did not charge extra. Both she and Mark talked with me after the inspection to explain it in detail and give recommendations. Very helpful, very affordable, and they definitely know what they are doing. Wonderful to do business with.

They did the work and were very good. They even came back a week later when the tank was full already. Informed me that I need the system jetted. They do not do that but recommended some other people. Were very helpful. It was a very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone needing their system pumped out. They were very honest about the work they did and what still needs to be done.

Mark was fast, efficient, friendly, and freely shared his knowledge of septic systems and how to keep one in good working order. He also (inadvertently) answered some of my questions about the prior tenant. Who knew you could tell so much from the contents of a septic tank?
