LOWE'S

The installer was punctual, got right to work, and we are happy with the results. An inspector also checked it out and gave us instructions for caring for the door. Both the installer and the inspector were very courteous.

There was a hiccup with the half-oval fan shade, which had to be traced on a piece of paper by our contractor, and it somehow never made it to North Carolina. The staff at Lowe's couldn't have been more helpful when the snafu was discovered and made a call to North Carolina to fix the matter. It was really nice that Levolor shipped all of the blinds to our house, after which our contractor installed them. We were very pleased with the insulating blinds, which are attractive and have held up perfectly.

LOWE'S were fine. It was all really good. It was a custom door. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They were on time.

The overall experience at the store was good. Helpful, friendly, seemingly knowledgeable employees. I purchased a kitchen sink, faucet, and drain from Lowe's in September 2012 to be installed on October 27, 2012. Lowe's charges $250 for an installer. I paid an additional $100 for an additional installer because it was suppose to be a 2 person job. The new sink to be installed was a cast iron sink and was too heavy for one person. Only one installer showed up. During the removal of my old sink, the installer says that he cannot warranty any leaks if I do not purchase a new garbage disposal, which he just so happens to have in his vehicle (lucky me!) and it will cost me an additional $110. I call Lowe's, with the installer still there, and want to know what was going on. I am being strong armed into buying a garbage disposal that I do not want. Lowe's says yes, the installer cannot warranty any leaks with my current garbage disposal that if I want the warranty, I will have to buy a new garbage disposal. So, for the warranty, I buy the new 1/2 HP garbage disposal to replace my beloved 3/4 HP garbage disposal. When the job was complete, there were no leaks. While on the phone with Lowe's, I told them that I wanted a refund for $100 for the 2nd installer that did not show up. Lowe's said that since they gave me a discount on the sink that "No" they would not reimburse me the $100 for the second installer that did not show up. **UPDATE** 11-10-2012 A-1 came out and removed the garbage disposal and re-installed my old one. I am satisfied that we were able to resolve this conflict. I was not charged $110 for the garbage disposal from A-1 and Lowe's refunded the $100.

Overall, it went very well. It didn't go quite as smoothly as I would have liked, but in terms of the work that I contracted them to do, they did an excellent job and the pricing was very reasonable.

it turned out really nice we had to gut the entire kitchen down to bare studs and redo the wiring from a 60amp service to a 200amp service. my mother-in-law was super picky and nothing would make her happy after we upgraded her electrical. So we got cabinets in and sheet rock and windows paint stove all just fell into place and looked good. she was finally happy and could use her kitchen again.

I am so pleased with the washer/dryer that I purchased. The sales staff was very helpful and able to show me a dryer that top loads since I was unable to use a front loading dryer because of space limitations. The appliances were installed last Saturday, and (unlike Home Depot) Lowe's has it's own delivery/installation staff. I was given a two hour time spread for the delivery, which was done within the correct time frame. The installation was done very professionally, and the washer and dryer work beautifully. I would purchase appliances from Lowe's again.

It was a hassle every inch of the way. Set up and payed for a contractor to come and measure, which I was told would come off the installation price. When measurements in, call from store verified the door we wanted was in stock and prices were given. Prices varied a great deal from the first salesman that we had talked with. We were told by first sales person that estimate charge, delivery, and haul away of old door were included in the price of installation posted on the door we were interested in. When we went to order door we were told price did not include any of above and the person who had helped us before did not work in that department. I held fast to what I was told and was given that price. The installers they sent were great, and asked if I had purchased a used door, as the door that was delivered had been used ( had holes drilled in it). I called and talked to a supervisor and another door was delivered in 30 minutes( it was new). Wrong screen was sent, delivered later.

Helpful sales staff, hands down best price for our new Maytag dishwasher. Picked up & self installed, so no comments on those areas. All around very satisfied!

Large selection. Needed a custom cabinet quality. Price estimate with install not selected. Hard to find someone to consult with. Staffing for custom cabinets always seemed to be inadequate.

The installers were 6 hours late, they were directionally challenged. One of the lead installers apparently became frustrated refused to continue attempting to find the place. After multiple calls to Lowes to try and get things squared away, they finally showed up, when they did, they realized that the person who left had all their carpet knives, so they had to run to Home Depot to buy more knives. That was really irritating, and since I had taken the day off from work it cost me some money. I complained to Lowes about it, and they refunded me a day's worth of pay. The actual quality of the installation was very, very good. The installer was very quick and very skilled. I was extremely pleased with the quality of his work.

I ORIGINALLY WANTED TO GO WITH LAMINATE TOPS TO HOLD THE PRICE DOWN. MY WIFE HAD HER HEART SET ON AN UNDER MOUNT SINK, WHICH IT SEEMS CANNOT BE DONE WITH LAMINATE MATERIAL, SO WE HAD TO UPGRADE TO A CORIAN TYPE SOLID SURFACE, WHICH ESCALATED THE PRICE DRAMATICALLY. IT TURNED OUT NICE, BUT AT A PRICE.

THEY FREQUENTLY HAVE GREAT BARGAINS AT THE END CAPS (END OF AISLE). YOU'LL OFTEN FIND EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. THEY CARRY A LOT OF THINGS WE NEED.

THE SALESMAN KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT, AND I PICKED OUT THE THE CARPET I WANTED, THEY CAME AND DID A MEASURE 3 DAYS LATER AND AND THEN 3 WEEKS LATER IT WAS INSTALLED, BUT I SAVE MYSELF $200 BY REMOVING THE OLD CARPET AND HAULING IT AWAY.

I BOUGHT THE KITCHEN CABINETS THAT WEE ALADY PUT TOGETHER, GREAT PRICE SINCE I HAD A 10% OFF ENTIRE PURCHASE COUPON, THE SALES LADY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND THEN HELPED ME LOAD THEM IN TO MY TRUCK.

I HAD THEM SPLICE THE CARPET IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION THAN THEY NORMALLY WOULD HAVE DONE IT. THEY CAME OUT AND DID THE MEASUREMENT, AND THEY CAME BACK WITH A PRICE THAT WAS THE MOST ECONOMICAL, BUT I CHOSE TO HAVE A MORE EXPENSIVE CHOICE, BECAUSE I WANTED IT DONE A DIFFERENT WAY. THEY DID IT SO IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MOST ECONOMICAL, BUT I WANTED IT DONE DIFFERENTLY, AND THEY STILL DID IT FOR A GOOD PRICE.

THE PRODUCT WAS DAMAGED IN THE WAREHOUSE BEFORE IT EVEN GOT HERE, SO THEY HAD TO REORDER IT. THAT ADDED ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. WHEN IT WAS PARTIALLY INSTALLED, THERE WERE SOME MARKS ON IT, THAT THE INSTALLER NOTICED, AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO INSTALL IT UNTIL HE TALKED TO LOWE'S AGAIN, SO THAT WAS ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. THEY CLEANED IT OFF AND FINISHED THE JOB, BUT IT WAS JUST REALLY FRUSTRATING.

I HAD NO PROBLEMS. EVERY TIME I ASK QUESTIONS THEY ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP OUT. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY HAD ON CLEAN CLOTHES AND LOOKED PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OVERALL.

I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE DECK SINCE THE REPAIRS. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. THEY ALSO ANSWERED ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS I HAD, WHATEVER THE TIME WAS.

I WOULD SAY IT WAS GOOD. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND THE MAN KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF WHEN HE WAS DONE.

THE FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE INSTALLERS WERE PROFESSIONALS THAT WERE QUICK AND CLEAN AND DID THE INSTALLATION AT OUR CONVENIENCE. THEY WORKED AROUND OUR SCHEDULE AND DID A GREAT JOB. WE LOVE OUR NEW FLOORS.
