Mike was the technician who came to repair our broken furnace. He was on time, very knowledgeable, and committed to solving my problem as quickly as possible. He delivered on everything he promised and was extremely pleasant to work with. I can t imagine way I would call anyone else next time.

Showed up in time and ready to work. They were very efficient and worked quickly and quietly removing and replacing our old furnace with a new one. They even pointed out little issues that we were not aware of that could cause future problems if not taken care of and corrected them. Also, due to the weather, while they were coming in and out of the front and back door it caused a lot of mess due to muddy shoe prints, so they mopped the entryways of both the front and back before they left. Had I not been called back to the property afterwards by the tenant due to the floors, I would have given them a perfect score of 5. However, it looked like they just wiped the mud around the entryway in both front and back. Their big mistake was using one of those Swiffers and not changing the pad at all. Those type of floor cleaning systems only clean floors well if the pads are changed often so your not just pushing around the wet dirt. You need to continually change the pads until the last pad used comes away clean. This was not done. They used just the one pad that might have been on there from a previous job, I don’t know. All I know is they never changed it when cleaning my floors and when the floors dried it looked worse then when they started, since now there wasn’t just a sets of muddy shoe prints but large swirls of mud throughout both entry ways. Overall an excellent job though and I will use again if needed for any of our other properties. I will also recommend them to family/friends. However maybe in the future they should use a mop and bucket when cleaning floors afterwards, since using a Swiffer system correctly is not very cost effective, no matter what they advertise and it requires a lot more work then just using a simple mop and bucket.

Our business hired Andrew Mengis to replace a HVAC unit at the end of July. We found him through Angie's List and chose him out of 3 other quotes from HVAC contractors. Andrew appeared to be reputable based on his reviews and had an A rating. We spoke to him several times, and he reassured us he could do the job with the requirements needed from our state inspection. We gave him our deposit early August and then never heard from him after several attempts to contact him via email, both business and cell phone numbers including through the contact us page on Mengis Heating and Cooling's website. We forewarned him if we didn't hear from him by 8/23/19 that we would need to contact our attorney regarding options to recover our deposit. We still have not heard from Andrew. Both business and cell phone numbers do not give you the option to leave a message. We drove to his address on his invoice, which turned out to be a mailbox inside a grocery store. We are in the process of working with our attorney to recover our deposit. We highly recommend never doing business with this company. We would give this company zero stars if that was an option or an F rating.

Showed up on time to access the situation. Tested the AC system and found it was working OK. Made suggestions for operating the system most efficiently. Did not charge me for the service call, since they had done a yearly maintenance check on the equipment about 4 months ago.

The installers were on time, professional, and friendly. The work took longer than estimated to complete but the installers stayed until the work was finished. The new heat pump system works great and we are enjoying the air conditioning in our home, especially on the 90-degree days of summer.

Excellent service and communication, Mike was terrific and explained the needed maintenance and will be back to provide a small additional repair but very conscientious about cost and took care of the immediate need promptly and professionally. Highly recommend!
