We already knew most gutter covers just did not work, so we had already narrowed down our choices to two types. The salesperson was quite a character but convinced us that this would be a better choice for us and that they would stand by their work. I found the initial estimate we got very confusing because it wasn't really a written estimate, more just a sales figure we got. However, after contacting them again saying we wanted to go ahead with the installation, we quickly completed the process and scheduled installation at our convenience. When the day came for our installation, we had to wait a day for a sick crew member, but the crew showed up the next day and completed the job which was expected to take two days in one day. They seemed to do a good job and cleaned up reasonably well, though we found a large number of large staples around afterward (they weren't sure where those would have come from). One feature of the mastershield (which is not really the crew's fault) is that they do not appear to manufacture inside corners, so they had to fit multiple pieces in those locations. Those pieces do not work as well as hoped and do collect debris, but we will have to see how things go in different seasons. They are already coming out to address an issue where the gutters may not be fully sealed in one corner. Overall, they have been very responsive to my concerns, and I still think the product is better than others on the market and definitely better than what we had before. I thought the cost was reasonable, especially given that we go new larger gutters out of it.

It went well. However, there were some communications problems between the office in Portland and the main office in Seattle. That resulted in my having to call the Seattle office to tell them that what they wanted, such as payment for work, had been handled by the Portland office. Other than that, it was a good experience.

They were late on installation and not responsive on follow up calls.

I called and setup an appointment to get an estimate. The girl that answered was hard to understand, but finally made it through the process. They sent a confirmation email and also called as a reminder. The day of the appointment no show, finally received a call from Adam 22 minutes after the appointment was supposed to happen. He then proceeded to give excuses about what happened and why he did not show and was not even in my area yet. If this company took the clientele serious they would have the schedule set up the night before so he knows his route for where and when he needs to be. To top it off he tried asking if he could come in the afternoon like I don't have other things I need to do. Very unacceptable and will be letting the entire neighborhood and the company I work for (one of the largest in Oregon) know about this work ethic.

I just got an estimate from them. They were nice, very respectful. They were expensive, but they were great. They were flexible, but their estimate was too high, too expensive. The quality of the stuff they were selling is why it was so expensive; I felt like they were super high quality but just maybe more than I needed. It seemed like it was a really good product and it seemed like they knew what they were doing.

Excellent - schedule was dependant on the new roof being installed and the outside of the house being painted. Crew was knowledgeable, professional and clean up after the job. We are very pleased with the result.

The gutters look good and the workmanship, once performed, was good. We did have some communications problem. I understand they were having some staffing issues, but they didn't keep us informed of the schedule and we're no-shows twice.

Told gutters were 8 weeks or more scheduled out, but if I ordered my rood to beckoned for 1500.00, then gutters would be done within 1-2 weeks. Roof was done, and still no gutters.

This company use to install a very similar product called leaf filter. I was told that the screens would keep debris out of my gutters. Was great for the first few months, then I noticed rain pouring over the front of the gutters. Turns out the screens get clogged with dirt, dust, pollen, etc.. Term used is "filter cake". I tried calling the company as I was told I had a lifetime warranty. Turns out the company filed for bankruptcy a month or so after installing my gutters, thus I no longer have a warrant. Through some investigate work I figured out that the same owners shut down their previous company and immediately opened this company now installing "the new and improved" version of leaf filter called master shield. I finally got someone at the company to admit that they were indeed the same company. He said they discovered the problems with leaf filter and shut down to avoid having to deal with all the warranty issues. Considering they shut down very shortly after installing my gutters I have to believe they knew of the problems and knew they were going to close when they installed my gutters, yet the took my money anyway and installed a product they knew was faulty. Do not trust these people. The only difference between the product they install now and the piece of crap they installed on my house is they put the gutters at any angle in an attempt to keep leaves and debris from building up on the top of the screens. Don't be fooled, the angle will not stop the screens from clogging within a year or so and you will then be out scrubbing or pressure washing your gutter screens off once or twice a year like I have to do now. I don't remember the exact date or costs at this point. I'd have to dig through my records to find that info.

I think it went really well the only issue in the end was i was home when they finished and they were supposed to knock on the door to let me know that they were done and they didn't. They left a note instead, without the invoice I have reached out to the SP to have the invoice sent to me so I can pay it.

There was a slight delay for a few days in the middle of the job because the wrong parts were shipped from the supplier. They had to reorder the parts and wait for them to come in. Other than that everything went smoothly. They came in every day and worked hard. They were very neat and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them. The man in charge of the Tigard, Oregon office is Kevin Davis. I started out doing business with their sales rep who came out to measure and inform me about the product. His name was Adam, he was very personable. I never actually met Kevin but I spoke with him a few times over the phone. He was also very pleasant and went above and beyond to see everything done properly for me. There was a gentleman named Sean and his working partner Jesse who were also very hardworking. Sean had been with the company for 9 years and was very knowledgeable about how to do his job.

I am very happy with the service that this company has provided me so far. I did a lot of research about gutter protection and it really is a mixed bag as to how effective a shield can be. This company's guarantee is amazing! Money back under certain conditions. If the system clogs then they will come out and service it for free . Any problems with water damage etc is covered also. I am hopeful that these protective gutter guards will do the job as we have 3 large trees around our house and have to clean our gutters 3-4 times per winter. According to the research I have done these shouldn't need anything done as the debris eventually blows off. Got my fingers crossed! :) They are a very professional team. The young man who installed the gutters has been working for the company for over 5 years and he stated that "we hardly ever have any service calls...just installation calls"

Some bumps along the way, but the crew were great. Issues were resolved to my satisfaction.

MasterShield's Tigard, OR office guys were great. The local office GM, Kevin, came out for initial consultation and provided a quote. We compared the technology and the pricing to other gutter protection systems and choose MasterShield because it was a much better value and had a great warranty. The installation crew was professional and worked hard to remove the old gutters, install the new and cleaned up after the job. I am pleased with the look and the the entire project.

Job was performed on time and as expected. Courteous workers explained installation and product thoroughly.

We found Mastershield at the fall home show. The sales pitch was terrific (of course). We signed up to have our gutters replaced and the representative came to the house. He walked around looking at the size, height and uniqueness of the roof. He gave us an estimate, with a start date and an assurance the job would be done in 5-6 days. The job started on the agreed upon date. And that's where the promises ended. The 2 guy crew showed up here and there and stayed 2-5 hours at most. When we called the representative, he had one excuse after another. The van broke down, it's raining outside, the guys have a class, the guys need to finish up somewhere else .... you get the gist. Over the next 3 months, we were in constant contact with the representative, but the work was not progressing. He explained the current lack of progress was due to: the house was to tall for his ladders, the pitch of the roof was to steep, the angles of the roof were to dangerous, etc. To which I replied ... before you made the bid, you walked around the house a few times taking notes. There were no roof issues brought up at that time, and over the course of the 3 months, the roof did not get taller or the pitch become steeper. With no resolution and no end date in site, we called the main office in Seattle, and explained the situation. He was apologetic and annoyed that this situation had occurred. Within a few days, he had a crew come down from Seattle, where they showed up early, worked all day and left the yard tidy and clean. They had to replace some of the work the original crew had done, which the original representative was hot happy about, but the Seattle crew was honest and did good work. A big issue I had was that we had put the down payment on a credit card. Which was fine. After the Seattle crew left, without a 'walk-around' with us, the original representative decided the job was done and charged my credit card without telling me. The gutters are now replaced. I would like to think they are fine, but we've not had enough 'downpours' to know for sure.

Gutter installation went slowly but efficiently as eave approaches were difficult to access in some areas of the house due to trees and also to house height. installation took about three days: providers clearly communicated with this home owner all anticipated delays or concerns. Providers were pleasant, kind, and responsive to questions by home owner. providers were professional, and exhibited knowledge regarding their craft. the gutters look very good, appear sturdy and ready for employment. Providers also did multiple visual sweeps of the work areas and removed small scrap metal, nails and debris created from the installation.
