We had an extremely pleasant experience with Johnson Home Improvement from start to finish. The owner came out and did the estimate. They were the least expensive of three bids - I'm sure we could have found someone cheaper, but we were looking for quality work and quality windows. They were the only company that offered to install the windows from the outside in, reducing the need to do major touchup on the interior trim. Jeff, the installer, was more than personable -he was a pleasure to have around the house for three days. We didn't have to do a thing to prep for the install - Jeff took care of it all when he came to the house. He worked efficiently, cleaned up after the work each day and even was very respectful of our baby's napping schedule. I would hire them again in a minute.

I would use them in the future. They were professional while they were working. They were reliable. They got exactly what I wanted done. The quality of their work was outstanding.

Glen Johnson handled the estimate and measurements, and walked me through the various options for each individual window. He was very thorough, patient in answering my questions, and did not come across as high-pressure sales. Altogether a surprisingly enjoyable experience for an estimate. Dwayne was the primary installer, with a second man joining him halfway through the job -- both to speed up the overall installation and to help handle the several oversized windows. Dwayne's work was superb -- careful, accurate, with superb attention to detail. He was also very thorough in cleaning up the work space. He also took the time to explain the process and the various installation steps (much easier to understand once the original windows are removed). Note that Glen's company is well respected, and therefore can be quite busy. From my order being placed to start of installation was about 7 weeks. Actual installation time for this very large job was 10 days. I am completely satisfied with the work and can highly recommend this company.

Once I had pretty much decided that I wanted Milgard products in my home Johnson's was the logical choice. They only carry Milgard and they gave me the best bid. Glenn was not high pressure but totally believes in his product and it shows. I chose a Milgard wood clad 5 foot patio sliding door and 36"X36" kitchen window. I couldn't be happier with the product or the company. They were the first company that I worked with on my kitchen remodel project. At the time I thought it took a little long to get the product but compared to some others since then it was OK.

I loved the look of my old windows, but a baby girl and lead paint meant they had to go. I decided to go with Milgard replacement windows (but if I were to do it again, I'd look more carefully at alternative brands) and researched contractors carefully. Prices were incredibly diverse and Johnson was among the best. After getting referrals and visiting job sites, I selected Johnson for the quality of their work. They ended up costing about $1000 more than their cheapest competition (but far better than everyone else), but the quality was far better. I emphasized the importance of quality work in talking with them and they complied, doing a great job and putting their best man on the job. The work was done by one subcontractor over the course of three days. He did very good work although he got a teensy bit sloppy at the end. Overall I'm very happy with the work. I had some problems with Milgard that were covered under warranty. Johnson waited for payment until they were fixed.

I contacted this company after receiving a discount mailer from Milgard. The owner, Glen Johnson, was on time for our appointment and returned a second time to answer additional questions and finalize measurements. Glen is very knowledgeable about both the product and installation and willing to answer all questions thoroughly. There were no annoying, high-pressure sales tactics. The order did take a few weeks longer than quoted but was worth the wait. Peter Johnson did the installation, kept me informed of his progress, and was not bothered by my numerous questions. Peter is meticulous in the installation process and very respectful of property, cleaning up after each window was installed. The installation looks awesome! After a year of numerous home improvement projects and contractors, this experience was by far the best. I highly recommend this company. Thanks Glen, Pete, & Arlene!

We picked Johnson Home Improvements, not only because they gave us the best bid, but also because they had good reports on Angie's List and were also on the "certified installers" list of the Milgard factory office. When I called for a bid last July, Glen Johnson was prompt, knowledgeable and polite. He was refreshingly not a high pressure salesman, like the Sears folks were. Glen also gave me a list of his customers to call for references. I called three and they gave him glowing reports. Although the replacement got started a week later than I anticipated, it was well worth the wait. Paul was very careful of our shrubs and the interior of our home. He was very polite and thorough. Thanks to him, we found out we had a hidden roof leak that was dripping within the wall space over one window. We called our roofers right away and they came out to talk to Paul and then took care of it. With the roof fixed and the new Milgard windows in place, we expect to remain cozy this winter.

I ordered our windows from Glen, he came out measured, and they were delivered as promised. We were going to install them ourselves, but after trying to do one, I knew we were in over our heads. I called Glen and he brought out his crew and they did the job for us. I would recommend Johnson Home Improvement to anyone needing windows.

From the time we first contacted Johnson Home Improvement, the service was first rate and top notch. They were on schedule and arrived each day when they said they would. The staff Glen Johnson(owner)secures to work with him are fantastic (Paul & Jeff). They listen to the customers needs,their wants and don't try to convince you otherwise. They know what they're doing yet don't mind if you ask a lot of questions. The owner even took his own personal time to go with us and pick out the trim! The windows turned out fabulous, the workmanship is terrific and Johnson Home Improvement is a great company to work with. This company totally transformed our house. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY. HIGHLY recommend Johnson Home Improvement to anyone looking for a quality, fairly priced company to work with. Grand slam out of the park!

My calls to the company office were answered by a live person each time for quote request, scheduling, order status, etc. We weren't in any particular hurry, but we were serviced in a very reasonable amount of time. The installation was completed on the date scheduled.

Glen Johnson came out to estimate the work. Initially we thought we would have to replace the entire patio door. Glen suggested that we just replace the fogged glass panel, because that would be half the price and because a new door would not match our existing windows. The company then ordered the glass, which arrived three days later. Pete Johnson came out the next day and installed the glass. He did a very professional job, even though it was more difficult than he had expected. Throughout, the company was completely professional, on time and reasonably priced.

JOHNSON HOME IMPROVEMENT DID A GREAT JOB INSTALLING OUR WINDOWS. WE RECEIVED BIDS FROM SEVERAL COMPANIES AND SELECTED JOHNSON BASED ON THEIR PRICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLER, BILL, WAS VERY GOOD. HE WAS METICULOUS IN HIS WORK, ON TIME, FRIENDLY AND VERY TIDY.
