It was fine and they took care of it. They were responsive and they make sure their work is done right which is why they came back for some addition work. I always appreciate the companies that are like them. We didn't have any issues with the schedule. They're punctual with the work but their office was little off for the calls. They were a little bit expensive and it's an expensive work to get done so it's understandable.

The service turned out good. I used them twice already. They do a good job. The roof is clean after they're finished. The workers did their job but I never met them. They quality of work is good. After they came, I didn't see any mess; I didn't even know that they were here. There was no mess on the ground.

It was fine. Two people came out.

Deal said supplier would contact me to schedule. I never heard from supplier, never received contact information for provider, never received a coupon code, my money just dissappeared without a trace. I could get that from a flyer posted on my mailbox. I expected better from Angie's List.

They bid the job and we worked out a fair price. They worked through some rain issues and got the job in a few days. A few things got damaged, but they were very good about making things right.

the service provided was quick and professional. they came found the issue and replaced my clogged gutter drain line within a couple hours. I would recommend the use of Homemaster services

They were clearly overstretched. I didn’t see them until January or February. I was indifferent to how they did because I had to wait so long.

I've been very happy with them. They do really quality work.

Very poorly. They oversprayed or, with some wind, their cleaning chemical product landed on and dripped all over our gutters and windows. My husband was unable to remove it, even trying several products. Besides which, he's 61 and we have very high windows--he should not have been expected to climb 20-ft. ladders to clean Homemasters' workers' mess. When we reported this to Homemasters, we received a voice mail which basically said "Sorry, not our problem". When I pursued it further by phone, the gentlemen requested pictures, which I provided immediately. He said he could not even be sure that it was from them, but did ask for pictures to pursue it with their supplier. Over several weeks, I e-mailed 2-3 times, with no response. Somewhere during this time,I offered to have a local window cleaning company clean the windows and forward the invoice to Homemasters--no response. I again e-mailed that unless I heard from them (payment for local window-cleaners, for which I provided an invoice) within 2 weeks, I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. No response. I gave them an extra week, and was just about to report them to the Bureau when they did call me. They did ultimately pay for our local window cleaners. Unfortunately, we had paid so much attention to the mess on the windows that we didn't notice how much was also all over our gutters. We wish we had had the gutters cleaned also and asked Homemasters to reimburse for that part of their mess also, but we did not. I cannot imagine they'd be particularly cooperative (given their past responses), so we'll not even bother trying to communicate with them about it. So we still have their mess on our gutters, but at least they ultimately reimbursed for the window-cleaning. Took months, though. Very sloppy workers, very poor Customer Service, very poor business practice. Highly recommend AGAINST them.

It was a good experience with Homemasters. They were prompt and thorough. I would recommend them for roof cleaning because of the price and good service.

We were very impressed and satisfied with the person HomeMasters sent out. Hector really knows about roofing and what do to fix them. We were in a panic when we saw water running down our stairs, stains on the ceiling, and a week of rain in the forecast. The fact that HomeMaster's employee showed up 1/2 hour earlier than the appointment, and that they made us an appointment at 10 pm on a Sunday night was pretty cool. We slept a lot better. The temporary patch was well done, and the final repair has held well so far.

It was fine and they were competent. There were extra costs to expand our service.

Overall they did a pretty good job, although there was never any follow up to see how it turned out and one of the spots still drips when it rains. They did come out and give an estimate right away but it did take several weeks as they were backed up, which is understandable. I'd probably use them again but I wouldn't say they went the extra mile.

Bought Angies coupon for gutter and roof cleaning in Oct. Service wasn't provided until Dec. I had to call several times to try and get a date for work to be done. At first, I was told that they were swamped with jobs. Scheduled time was delayed until cold snap caused further delays. When work was finally done, workers cleaned only gutters and valley leaving needles etc. on roof. They stated that despite wording on coupon, work only included gutters and a "deluxe" package was needed for roof cleaning. The workers did a good job of cleaning all gutters and did point out a couple of roof problems they noticed. I have no problem with the work actually done, but feel the coupon was misleading. It makes no sense to me to clean gutters but leave debris on roof to be washed into the gutters at the next rain.

I've been using them for years. I've been a customer for a long time. They're very prompt and very pleasant to deal with. They seem to do fine. Very easy to work with. Their price is really reasonable.

Their rep came to look at roof when I wanted to buy roof maintenance. He said he would get back to me the next Monday. He did not. I called the office a week later and they said he would call me. He did not. I believe this is the same company that i inquired about window washing service, and they looked and never got back to me. Their way of doing business seems very UNprofessional. If they cannot provide the service, it would be nice if they would let you know. I'm VERY disappointed with HOMEMASTERS and would not recommend that anyone contact them for service.

This was probably the ideal contractor to deal with because it was all set up with e-mails and phone calls. I never physically saw or interacted with anyone from this company. The work was very professional and the gutters are good quality and sturdy. I believe they did a great job, thanks Homemasters!

Started out fine; I was contacted promptly and an appointment was set up. The appointment was made for a specific time, not the usual 2-4 hour "window," which surprised me. The woman who called was very pleasant this time and every subsequent time we spoke; she's the reason I gave them a C for Professionalism instead of a D or F. The day of service the service person called me to ask whether I knew what the special included and to tell me that any additional service would cost extra. I assured him repeatedly that I understood this and it was fine. He seemed defensive throughout the conversation, as if I was arguing (I wasn't). He also told me several times that any extra service probably wouldn't be performed the same day, and I assured him that was fine; I only expected the service offered in the special. He confirmed that I would be home in case he needed to discuss any findings with me. About 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time the tech called me to say he was running late and I'd need to reschedule. It was only about 3:15, but he didn't indicate why he couldn't come later that day. This was annoying because I'd left work early to be home at the appointment time (I realize that wasn't Home Masters' fault, but canceling the appointment at the last minute with no explanation of why they couldn't come later that day was very poor service). It was several days before I was contacted to reschedule and another week or so before the new appointment. This time, I was told that I didn't need to be home for the service as long as the tech had full access to the roof and gutters, and that a report of the work done and inspection results, with recommendations for additional service if any, would be mailed to me. The service tech came while I was at work. The only reason I knew someone had actually been there is because they placed a yard sign advertising HomeMasters on my property (without my permission)and the debris that had been blown off the roof was in the yard, on the patio, walkways, etc. No cleanup at all. If the roof was actually treated for moss the treatment was ineffective; the moss is quite healthy a month later. They did do a decent job on the gutters, which is why I rated Quality a C. I received the promised "report" by mail a couple of weeks after the service; it was basically an advertising flyer with checkboxes showing options for the condition of the roof: good, average, etc. In my case, the box marked "needs replacement" was checked. No details were provided. The roof is 20 years old and it's possible it does need replacement, but I don't trust Home Masters' judgment and certainly won't invite them back to bid on the work. Overall, I think I could've hired a handyman to clean the gutters and sprayed the roof with Moss Out myself for under $249, with results at least as good as if not better than I got (and I wouldn't have had to dispose of the yard sign).

They did a fine job. It was a busy season so I have to wait for couple of weeks but everything was fine. The gutters haven't been clean since we moved here and they did a good job. However, my house is very small so I think the price should have been less.

The final cost was too great for me, almost 14,000.00. Could not afford at this time, it's been awhile since I had a roof replaced, thought it'd be around 9,000.00, I was wrong. I had a small house roofed about four years ago, size 17 sq's. Cost me about 4,000.00. So thought with 35 sq it'd be double the price, but was more than 3x the price. Surprise! Surprise!

Scheduling with them has been okay and they have been open an honest about their situation. They said they got pretty slammed after the Big Deal and this is their first time with Angie’s List. They could have been more clear that this Big Deal was a two-step process. Talking with them has been really good though. Overall so far so good, but we are just getting started with them. They will be addressing other issues for us as well during the process.

They did a good job and the gutter no longer leaks. They also did extra work for us. They cleaned of the moss on our roof and I feel like they did a really good job with that as well. They also cleaned up well after they were done. I also feel like I got a good deal on the work.

Don from Sale was very nice to work with. He came out and reviewed the work, gave us a good estimate of repairs that needed done, and told us he would be watching the weather forecast to schedule the job during sunny days. Next day he called us and scheduled the work based on the forecast. The job was completed within 2 weeks of ordering off Angie's list. Initially, Don thought the job could be completed in 2 days. Some damaged plywood and facia was discovered upon removal of the old roof. The entire job took only 3-1/2 days and the weather cooperated. During the work Don followed up with us a couple of times. The crew was friendly, hard workers, and on time daily. They did a great job of cleaning up during and after the project. We are very pleased with the work performed and impressed with Don and the crew's outstanding professionalism. There was fantastic communication between Don , Steve, and the crew about necessary repairs and time schedules. Every company should function like Homemasters. The job was completed on 3/15/14. Homemasters provides a wonderful warranty on labor (20 years) and the roofing materials (30 years). We have had a few small things come up since the repair--gutters adjustment, and two leaking skylights for a total of 3 after-job visits. Steve from the office had someone out here next day (once, same day) to follow up. The work was completed promptly and the repairs were correct. I really appreciate their responsiveness. They were quick to respond even though the crews were on other jobs. They made sure someone came to take care of the problems. Good company.
