They called the day of the appointment and cancelled because they were short people. I sent several emails inquiring as to what was going on. They finally sent someone out to inspect on Friday, May 23. I have heard nothing since.

We bought the Angie's List Big Deal, and called Homemasters. The appointment was easily made, and they came out and did a good job. We would use them again.

Individual who came was responsive, had tools for the job, taught me some things, worked hard. I was satisfied.

The work was done as requested and on schedule. They were reasonably priced, punctual, did good work and were very pleasant to deal with.

It went well gutters cleaned and noted that gutters needed replacement in the near future. Roof was in good condition nothing to worry about there.

Went great, they didnt have our size and up graded at no additional charge.

The entire process was great, from the initial visit to the completion of the work. I will definitely call them again.

After we worked through the scheduling difficulties, it went well. B+ overall. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future. I wasn't home to see the work but I haven't had any issues since then.

I found the Angies List Big Deal for Homemasters. The offer for $5k included removal and replacement of 1 layer of shingles up to 2000 sq ft. My house was a total tear off of 3 layers, required all new plywood and sheething, needs several roof vents, and is only around 1200 sq ft of roof space. By no means was my project an apples:apples comparison, so before I committed, I needed them to tell me what my actual total would be. Jim arrived at my house on time. He quickly assessed the status of my roof and then did his number crunching. He gave me quotes for the Angies List Deal plus the additional items I required that were NOT covered within the Angies List Deal, the cost nearly doubled. Jim was patient with me and since my project was so far outside of the AL Deal, he would do a traditional itemized roof bid....and a follow up appointment was agreed to. Jim called late the very next day and said the numbers were ready! We scheduled to meet again. He again showed up on time. My actual project total came to around $8k instead. I still cringed but it was also very competitive when compared to the last offer I received from a "vendor in the neighborhood" ($14k, yeah, bologna!). Unfortunately and fortunately, I found a different route to complete my project within my budget. Had that not been the case and if my budget was higher, I would have hired Homemasters!

They did an adequate job. Were prompt thorough.

First this company postponed our date of service a week. They came out and took off the roof and put a new one on. There was some concern of some dry root on the chimney siding so we asked them to repair that and the chimney was leaning as we were told so we had them reinforce it. This started back on March 12, 2014. On March 19th we told them of the damages they had done to our gutters and trim on the house while they were replacing the roof. It took us a while to get them to schedule people to come out and finish the chimney needs and to get things done and it repainted. I had to keep sending them emails over and over again to Gary who always said, "he would get on it." WELL DON'T COUNT ON GARY TO GET THE JOB DONE! They has since sent us a bill for the other repairs and we have paid them for the roof. We are holding off paying them the balance of nearly $400 because they have NOT STRAIGHTED OUT OUR DENTED GUTTERS, OR REPAINTED THEM AND THE TRIM THEY DAMAGED. My last email to Gary was on 5/12/2014 of which he said he would get right on it!! They even had these things listed on the final bill of work they have NOT COMPLETED. IF YOU ARE SMART, YOU WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. We still have some pop ups on our roof of which they said the heat over the summer will lay those tiles down. At the ends of the roof the tiles curl upward. Not happy with this look.

The provider arrived on time and set up his equipment. It was a pretty noisy and messy job, but that's to be expected. They cleaned off the roof with a power washer, which caused a lot of moss to come off, but they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. They also washed off my neighbor's house and garage, which got dirty during the cleaning process. Great work for a great price, and the roof is doing well!

1. Slow responses to initial contact. I had to buy the Angie list coupon then they couldn't schedule the job for weeks and had already paid. Poor calling back to my calls. Very nice on the phone. 2. Inspector came out prior to service. Very friendly. Then tried to sell me up. Wanted to install $100 worth of roof mounts for his crew. I had to refuse and then almost cancelled the order when he might have suggested it was a "safety" issue. For who? Not me. So I told him to cancel it if it was unsafe. Needless to say he did not cancel. Then he wanted to charge an additional $100 for my garage roof which was detached. My house is pretty small and I thought this was rip off too. I agreed to it since I was anxious to get the job done. The "salesman" was very nice. 3. I was pretty annoyed when he told me they actually give anybody the VIP special pricing I bought from Angie's List. In other words, I would not have tied up my money if I had called directly. And basically, that means that all their listed prices are BOGUS because they give there discounts to everyone. I DON'T LIKE FAKE COUPONS AND HAVING TO PREBUY COUPONS on Angie's list. I am sure Angie agrees with me. 4. The job took forever to schedule but the crew of two showed up right on time and were very nice. They did a decent job and did a great job cleaning up. All in all, the job was satisfactory but scheduling, communication and sales pitch were unnecessary parts of the process. Since this was my first need for this service, I might try someone else next time so I can make a better comparison.

Overall went well, but the moss treatment is not visibly working after 6 months of waiting.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did fine. I don't have any real comments because they did the job while we were not home, so it was perfect. My interaction with them over the phone was good.

Homemasters did an amazing set of important roof/gutter maintenance. First, the downspout nearest the master bedroom was not only overflowing, but it was also dripping very loud. when they replaced the existing one with a newer product, I noticed the curvature (vs sharp angles) of downspout solved the problem. What's nice is that they reused the screw holes into my siding, so they protected the waterproofing of my new siding job.they Second, they cleared a couple of problem valleys and gutters, which kept the system running smooth. I get a full roof cleaning every 1-2 years, but it helps to have a spot cleaning more often to clear spots that catch debris from nearby trees. Third, I had a nest issue in the past, so to prevent it going forward they installed spike strips. You can barely see them from the ground level, but I am confident that the doves will not return there again. I HIGHLY recommend Homemasters for roof & gutter jobs.

The service went well. They did exactly what the deal stated. They were quick to respond to our requests. Scheduling was very easy and they were punctual to the appointment. They seemed very honest and upright. I would certainly recommend this company to others.

They did a great job on the roof. Comments regarding issues with the roof were made, but when I attempted to contact Homemasters no one ever got back to me.

They were easy to work with. The work itself was fine. They were efficient. They made a schedule, they came in, they were on time, got it done quickly and they left. I did not have to worry that much. They did a great job.

My experience was good. They did a great job. They answered the phone well and their customer service was good. They met our expectations and got the work done in our time line. We were satisfied with them.

Went very well. Prompt and professional. Told me my roof was in great condition and did not require any repairs other than sealing flashing and around fasteners, which they took care of. Also sent me a Roof Inspection Certificate to use as I am selling my home.

Scheduling was difficult. They barely did what I asked. What I got was not what I wanted. I was not happy with their responsiveness.
