We were disappointed by the quality of the work. When we brought up concerns Greg minimized them, having some "fixed" in a way that didn't look much better, to the point that we got frustrated and stopped asking for fixes in our eagerness to end the project and do touch ups ourselves. They didn't walk us through what the final effect was going to look like at all and we ended up surprised by decisions that were made without consulting us, such as trimming the corners of the house, what the window trim looked like, etc. The siding installation was fine but they didn't seem to take much care in the finished look. The painting was the worst, they didn't sand anywhere first, did a sloppy job, and then insisted two coats had been put on in places you could clearly see the old color underneath. When someone was sent out to touch it up, they still missed spots. They convinced us to add insulation and led us to believe it would be foam, then used blown fiberglass-maybe there was a reason for this, but again, we weren't included in the choice. Oh, and it started two weeks late and took almost 6 months to finish. The house looks better than it did before, the workers at the house were nice and Lindsey in the office was good at keeping us informed of the schedule where she could, but we were left feeling taken advantage of. Greg sold us with his initial enthusiasm and what we thought was a good deal, saying he wanted to "put a sign in our yard and use our house to get more jobs," but I wouldn't recommend them and they certainly didn't leave a sign.

They were so good. They gave outstanding pricing. We got a 50 year roof. They were prompt. They got everything done in a day. They were on it. He doesn't gouge, he bids his work really fairly. His company was outstanding. I don't know that I'll ever need a roof again but if I did I would recommend him.

We initially had scheduling issues. They put on my roof. Later I noticed a wet spot on my ceiling. Initially they said it was not their fault, and finally came out after speaking profanely with me over the phone. I would not recommend them. They only came back out as a result of my calling the warranty company.

The roof work was performed adequately, and Greg seemed knowledgeable enough about what needed to be done to address a leaky window issue. Lindsey in the office was responsive when there were scheduling issues (which happened a few times, but it was during the rainy season). Do not hire this company to perform any carpentry work, however. They replaced solid 16-year-old stairs that had a couple of rotting boards with rickety stairs that shift and have nails that bend and pop out. When I called to tell them of these issues, which arose within seven months of construction, it took them three months (and many more phone calls) to come back out. When Greg did show up and meet with my husband, he downplayed the issues and said the "New York" in me was causing me to overreact. Insulting and unprofessional behavior, to say the least, but I was willing to let it go to give my two-year-old daughter a safe staircase to walk down each day. Greg eventually instructed his employee to add "a board" to fix the unstable stairs. The carpenter who came to do the work admitted that solution wouldn't work but said he couldn't do anything else. I spent more than half an hour with him--taking time off from my workday--to talk through the issues and discuss possible solutions. In the end, he replaced a few nails with screws and then took off without a word. I emailed the office manager expressing my displeasure with this non-solution and they tried to charge me more money to fix their shoddy work. I was actually amenable to paying just to end the whole ridiculous process (and since the carpenter seemed to understand how to fix the problem), but when I asked them in writing to guarantee their work or else refund my money, they said they were no longer interested in working with me. That was a first. Greg repeatedly tried to claim the frame was unstable--the one part they did not replace, per my instructions--but the 16-year-old staircase they took apart was completely solid save for a few rotting boards. The steps never shifted underfoot, nails never popped out; the original wood had just reached the end of its life. The frame is clearly not the issue here , their poor work is. In the end, I had a terrible experience with this company. The roof work has held up ok so far, but the wood work, performed by "master carpenters" (in Greg's words), is unstable and hazardous. This review would be very diffferent if they had accepted responsibility for their actions and redone the work properly.

The process went very well and I was very happy with the result overall. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the job site labor, Fernando, and his crew. They used a trunk to collect and haul off all waste materials so I did not have a drop box in my driveway during the work. They cleaned up the job site everyday and answered any questions that I had during the job (I had many questions). Greg, the company owner, was at the site at least once per day and sometimes more. He made sure the materials were ready when they were needed and that that the work was staying on schedule. The price of the roof job was competitive with five other bids. The quality of the materials used were premium grade and the craftsmanship was of high quality.

I think they are just wonderful and I appreciate all that they did for me. They were always prompt, did a really good job, and also made me aware of some chimney problems I was having as well. I think they did a great job at inspecting areas that I did not know about.
Description of Work: They came out and repaired part of my roof. They worked on my gutters and they touched up some paint work.

Kevin is way better than anyone else who's come out to look at my roof. He was on time, efficient in what he did and he gave me a good price. He addressed everything that needed to be fixed.
Description of Work: It was a repair of a bad job from a previous re-roof. They are widening valleys, waterproofing the roof and replacing rotten wood.
