They were very fast, and did more work than I asked for.

Very pleased with the work. Three person crew showed up on time and had the project done within two hours....just as they predicted. Cleaned everything up before they left. I will use them for future projects.

The crew that did the work showed on time, just as they told me they would. They went to work and never stopped for 3 1/2 hours even though it was 97 degrees outside. All removed material was completly picked up, chipped and hauled away and the whole area was raked and gone over with a leaf blower. A job well done. Thanks guys.

Two workers showd up on time with a truck and a big wood chipper. I showed them the work I needed them to perform. They quickly went to work. They cut down one pine tree that was wegged between another tree and a fence. A great job with no damage to surrounding landscaping. Cut down another pine and cleaned up some old stumps from a previous less professional job (different company). They climbed two larg trees and trimmed up 25' above the ground. All the limbs, some as big a 6" in diameter were run through their chipper. The "fire wood" portion of the trees that were cut down were stacked by their stumps. They raked up the "mess" and then used a leaf blower to clean even more thrououghly. A polite and professional two man crew. My yard looks GREAT thanks to their skillful triming of hedges, rhododendrons, cutting down two pine trees and trimming other pine trees and a Sweet Gum. Chris Young, a certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assesor came out first, did the estemate and explained what work needed to be done. He examined my other trees and judged them safe and sound. A great company to do business with.

Work was done but not without issue. The bent my four year old black rod iron fence. It has still not been repaired by them. I was disappointed they were not more careful of my property. Especially since I have taken over 5 yrs to fix up inside & out as I save up to do so! A question asked would I use them again. Yes, if they make good & repair the damage that was done by Evergreen Tree. In fact by not completing the repair by now & me having to take my time to contact them, since NO follow up on their part. Has taken my time & worry about a job that should have been done & over correctly. Here I'am 2 mths later still dealing with this job!

1. Interaction with the company durinG the pre-sale phase was good. Scheduling of the initial quote meeting and the Initial quote meeting itself was good. Everyone was responsive, punctual, and professional. 2. The actual service day was not of the same caliber. A crew of three completed the job. The crew was relatively friendly. They did indicate that they could not start until they confirmed the work specifics with Chris even though I showed them his written quote. This added about 20-30min of delay after they arrived. A) Plus: the crew did perform tasks 1-3 listed in the work description. Task 4 was not performed, see below. B) Plus: I was given the choice of the wood from the plum tree being completely taken away, left as wood chips, or left as firewood. I asked for it to be left as firewood. The crew did leave the wood from the plum tree chopped in to firewood sized pieces. However, I would have appreciated the wood being left in some sort of orderly stack instead of a random pile. C) Minus: the crew was about 2hrs late. No advance notification of their delay was provided. I called several times to the different numbers I had for the company. All calls went to voicemail. I emailed, no response. No follow up calls were made in response to the voicemails I left. D) Minus: debris from the job wasn't well cleaned up. I had to spend a considerable amount of time clearing up branches, leaves, and fruit that had been left across my lawn. E) Minus: the crew politely went to the edge of my property to take smoke breaks. However, they were near my neighbor's patio. I received complaints from my neighbor after the job about their smoking. F) Minus: the stump grinder was not brought with them. This task 4 could not be completed during the scheduled service date. The crew informed me it would come the next day. This meant I had to arrange another day away from work. I was told that I would receive a call to schedule the job. No call was ever received. G) Plus: the stump grinder did eventually arrive the next day.

The company set up the appt. nicely. The crew arrived within the time slot window. They did the jobs that were asked with amazing talent and professionalism and cleaned up nicely when done.

They arrived at the wrong time and started working before I got home. They trimmed the trees in back and cleaned up fine. I wanted to talk to them before they sprayed black stuff , some kind of sealer, on a tree but they did that before I got home. The arborist said the tree might not heal right if the stuff was sprayed.

Excellent Work! Called and scheduled appointment for estimate and determined availability to do the work. After receiving 3 other estimates, selected Evergreen Tree Services based upon professionalism of estimator. Showed up with crew exactly on time and had both trees removed within hours. One tree was very close to our rose garden and the team took extreme care not to damage any of the roses or neighbors shrubs. Both stumps were carefully ground, taking care to remove as much of the exposed roots as possible. The team did a fantastic job of cleaning up all of the chips and debris. We also received a significant Angie's List discount, which I had forgotten to notice.

Everything happened on time and to my satisfaction, from phone contact, to day of estimate, to day work was done. My property was left as clean as it should have been.

I purchased the Angie's List coupon "$199.00 for $400.00 of tree service". After canceling the first appointment, they showed up on time several days later and set to work trimming a few branches that were overhanging my roof. They cleaned up after and did a good job. The only B grade was because they cancelled on the first appointment after I had spent the better part of the day waiting.

The 2 man crew were over 2 hours late. I had to call to find out what the hold up was and was told that even tho they were scheduled to arrive at my home between 8 and 9am, they were doing a different josb at that time. I did not appreciate that I hadn't been given a heads up regarding the change in plan. I would noty have gotten up so early since there was no need. My time is just as valuable as anyone else That said I was pleased with the work performance..

Chris was our estimator and said he was a licensed Arborist. He showed up on time and was personable and knowledgeable. We walked the property together and he was able to answer all my questions about the variety of trees on my property, their growing characteristics and even about some odd moss we had noticed. Be sure to have all your questions written down because typically you see the estimator when you get the estimate! The crew arrived on time on one of the hottest days of the year so far. They worked non-stop until they were done. We were completely satisfied with the limbing, both from a completeness and an aesthetic standpoint. The clean up was also done well. As others have mentioned, the stump grinding is a separate crew (of one). He showed up about two weeks later without notice which turned out to be fine but if I was going to be away it might have been a small hassle rescheduling. The actual grinding was also done to our satisfaction and he was even able to get in and grind one stump in a pretty challenging location. Remember, the men who do the actual work (the crew) are subject to change so your experience could differ. In fact, the foreman actually remembered me from having another tree fallen by another outfit earlier in the year when he was working for them. These men work darn hard and have families so be kind to them and it wouldn't hurt to give them each a tip, either.

Purchased the Big Deal, they called the next day and we scheduled an inspection of work required for the following week. The representative arrived on time, I explained that I needed my fence line cleared of my neighbors branches, squirrels were using them to get on my second story roof. The representative explained he needed to access my neighbors property to perform the tasks, and my neighbor refused access.

They crew was amazing. Punctual, precise, and polite. They knocked out the work with no damage to property or pants. Some of the work was over power lines and both our and our neighbor's rooflines. The following work day the stumps were ground. Both days the crew did a stellar job and made sure to clean up our property as well as our neighbors.

They did a great job! They easily removed all three trees (including removal of stumps) and they cleaned up after they were done as well. It's as if the trees just magically disappeared. They do have two crews however - one crew to cut down and remove the tree, then another crew to remove the stump. In may case, the stump removal was done two days after the trees were removed. I wasn't expecting that, but that's fine. In the end, I am very satisfied with their service and would definitely hire them again (if they were price competitive).

I had to hire a tree removal service for my Mom. I asked for four bids and got them all within a week and all were reputable companies. We chose the lowest just because my Mom is on a fixed income and had saved for quite a long time. You ever get the feeling when you just talked to someone, that they are the right one? We felt that right after Chris talked to us and he was the first quote. The other three were very professional and would have hire them had the price been right for Mom. Northwest Tree Service was the one my Mom chose. There were three poplars (one was 60’+ tall and dead), 25 arborvitaes (to top) and 2 maples needed trimming. The dead and large poplar was of grave concern for us, it was right in the back corner of our lot with two other neighbors. One wrong cut and big problems!! The crew fell them right where they were supposed to go. When the large one hit the ground it exploded! Limbs everywhere but still in our yard. Wheeew! They cleaned up after themselves and hauled off all of the wood. No problems with the grass and they used a small tractor lift to pick up and haul the large trunk pieces out. We had no issues with the crew. OK, only when the trees started to come down did we hold our breath. After seeing what they did for my Mom’s trees in the front (shaping and thinning), I will be calling them to come out to do mine. No quotes needed, you have my business. Since it was very hot, the day of the stump grinding, I'm not sure if the lack of shade burned the rhododendron, or if part of it was exhaust from the grinder. At any rate, one of the rhododendrons suffered a lot of dried leaves. I'm sure it will come back, and the foundation is no longer in danger from the trees. They did a pretty good job of cleaning up the area.

Contact was made through an Angie's list promotion for arborist services. Mr. Young and I agreed on specific items to be included..... and he was pleasant when I phoned later that evening to ask if I would be able to make a small change. The workmen were also very accommodating and competent -- and the man who performed the stump removal a couple weeks later made a very good impression, too. I believe the promotion was mutually beneficial. With my many trees and mature landscaping, annual work is required and I will hire.them again. I also referred the firm to my daughter.

There was a 3 man crew working all day. Along with specified tree work there was an allotment in the bid for general clearing of which the crew wasn't able to get all of it done in one day so they gave me an option of having them return or adjusting the invoice. No muss no fuss! They worked hard all day.

had slight confusion with what was to be done at job, but was able to work it out to my liking for price we agreed on. Had to do w/me the homeowner not understanding tree cutting terms.

The service did not go well. They charged me additional to have extra work done. The owner came out to assess the job and then the technicians came out to do the job. They did not seem to know what they were doing and were not well equip. They were not prepared for the service. I wanted them to trim up some trees. They told me I needed to take down another tree, but I disagreed and had them do no major service. I did not think the deal was clearly laid out as far as what exactly they were offering.
