BARK BLOWERS INC

I received a call that morning with a time that the four young men would arrive. They arrived on time. They blew the bark about 3 inches thick. They were very courteous. They cleaned up afterwards. The yard looks beautiful. I would definitely use them again.

Pros: 1. They said they had to use more bark than i originally ordered because I had a few bare spots, but they didn't charge me for the extra bark, which was nice! 2. They cleaned up after themselves including any bark that fell out of the truck and my property looks great. 3. Price was comparable to other bark blowing businesses and they had multiple payment options (check, credit card) and they had an Angie's list coupon. 4. It was definitely worth an extra $100 to have them blow the mulch into place, rather than having them dump it so that I would have to shovel it by hand. Cons: 1. I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment. Also, they were unable to give me a specific time window on the day of the appointment, but they were willing to give me a phone call about 20 minutes before heading on over. 2. Despite using more bark than I expected, it is still a bit thin in many areas (< 1 inch of bark). I probably would have paid a little more to have a few of the areas filled in more, but what's done is done. Maybe next year. 3. The bark was a bit chunkier than I expected.

Went very well, very efficient, timely with good cleanup. I would use them again and reccomend to others.

For the first time, I used Bark Blowers, Inc., who is at the top of your list, and I was very impressed. I emailed them directly, because I was impressed with the driver, the ladies that I talked to in the office. I couldn't have been happier with that service. I'm going to go with them next year for sure.

Emailed request and they said they did the following. All reviews had much small amounts and prices and nowhere in there ads/webpage says this about Milwaukie from other locations very misleading!!! I'm very happy with the product, this company. It is good quality, fresh mulch....not a mixture. Two gentlemen came in to complete the task. They were professional and polite and on task. My yard looks and smells amazing! The price is reasonable, considering I got fresh Hemlock Mulch. I would definitely use them again. I would definatley recommend them.

On the recommendation of neighbors, I called Bark Blowers, and scheduled them to blow bark dust around our house. I'd never had this service before, and the woman I talked to was very helpful. She explained the whole process in detail, and helped me select the product and quantity we would need. They called to confirm the appointment the day before, and a crew came out, right on time to blow the bark. They were very neat and fast, and only charged me for the bark we used (I ordered 1.5 loads, but only used 1). Would definitely use them again.

I was given a window for the dirt to be delivered, between 9 and noon and the driver showed up around 1030. He then dumped the dirt as requested, in an alley behind my house. The dirt was very good quality. Very good experience.

This was the first time I used this company to blow in bark dust...and it won't be the last. Based on previous quotes/orders I had ordered 2 units of bark dust, as this was the amount I had always been told I would need. The guys from Bark Blowers came and took care of my front, side, and back yards, and after blowing in 2 - 2 1/2" of bark dust on top of the remaining 1" of old bark dust, they told me they only needed to blow in ONE unit to do the entire job. They then explained what my new LOWER price was, and it went from $598 to $299. Now mind you, Bark Blowers actually did MORE of my front yard that the previous companies had done, and I was always charged the full amount for 2 units by those other companies. Could the other two companies have put down 2 units? Doubtful, as they would have had to have blown in almost 5", which I can tell you looked NO different than how it looked after Bark Blowers had finished. So not only did they only charge me based on how much they actually used, which kept me from over-paying (which I would NEVER had known), my yard looked great. They took care of all the cleanup as well. I will never use another company for blowing in our bark dust. They have turned me into a life long customer with this one visit.

I called, gave approximate square footage, got a price, set up delivery time window and it was delivered at the beginning of that time. They went the extra step of delivering 2/3 of the load to my house and the other third to my son's house around the corner at no extra charge. Everyone I spoke to was cordial and professional.

I called for an estimate for delivering and applying bark dust. They had a fellow over within 24 hours to measure the property and discuss what we wanted. They then called with a reasonable estimate. When I called to schedule, they put me down for the next day. The crew was on time, efficient and friendly. They did an excellent job, especially with clean up. They put down the 3-inch layer I asked for and a bit more. It still came to less bark than they had originally thought, so we paid less than expected.

Friendly service, and quick delivery. Would use again.

I called the office at about 9am and we had our bark delivered by 12pm. The driver was friendly and courteous. I forgot to mention I had the Angie's list discount and they fixed the price for me before charging my card. They sent me a postcard a few days later thanking me for using their service. I felt that their website offered good information about how much bark I should order based on the size of my yard and it worked out perfectly. The bark is good quality and was very fresh It looks beautiful!

I am very pleased with the service and would recommend the company without reservation.

They were very good about answering my (many) questions, helping me decide which bark product to select. Delivery was tailored to my schedule and was right on time. Everyone was pleasant and professional

I have used Bark Blowers many times over the years and was very satisfied both with bark dust dumped in my drive and blown in. This time I shared a unit of medium Hemlock with my neighbor. The company was very accommodating with a money-saving plan to share a unit with next door neighbors. We each paid $175 of the total cost. I was very satisfied with the quick job they did of blowing bark into both yards, as well as their efficiency in cleaning everything up. We will definitely use them again!

Ordering and delivery were exactly what I suspected.

In the past, we've always used other providers and just had the bark dust dumped on our driveway. After reading reviews here on Angie's List, I decided to price how much it would cost to have the bark blown in. I also called a bunch of other providers and got prices for delivery only. The prices I got for delivery only averaged about $200/unit. When I called Bark Blowers, I asked for a price on 1.5 units blown in. I believed I was quoted $426 before the $10 Angie's List coupon, and I remember questioning the woman I was speaking to that it was for the full amount and commenting on how awesome the price was. My husband accepted delivery and I didn't see the receipt until my credit card bill arrived, when I discovered we'd been charged $629. My husband went searching for the receipt, and I then discovered that I'd apparently been quoted the "per unit" price and not a final price. It's a lesson learned, I suppose, to get a written estimate/receipt and not just a price quoted over the phone. The company was, however, very accommodating with setting a time/day to have the work done. The woman I spoke to over the phone was very nice. The guys who came out to do the work were prompt and my husband said they were very polite.

They did a really clean and thorough job.

My call to Bark Blowers was answered promptly. The office was friendly and very helpful, answering all my questions and helping me decide which type of bark dust would be suit my needs and budget. The bark dust was delivered as scheduled, with an invoice and instructions left for me at my door. The product was what I ordered, and I felt it was a good value for the price given the volume I received.

I called for a quote and mentioned the Angie's List coupon. He gave me $10 off and promised to beat the price of any competitor. Since the competitor's price was $30 higher, I went with Bark Blowers. He went into detail when I asked him to tell me which product to select, offering any information I may have needed. He scheduled the delivery for later in the day. Then a few minutes later, he called back to let me know he had found our order from 11 years ago and it was for a unit and 1/2, in case we may want to match that amount. I was very impressed and pleased with his professionalism, enthusiasm, dedication and responsiveness. The quality of the product seems fine and the price was reasonable.

They arrived right on time and applied the mulch where I asked them to. I was very happy with the job they did. They cleaned up the area, too. It looks nice.

They were very good. They were on time, they were very professional, and we will use them again next time. The price was about average.
