Hired him for a remodel design, and after 10 months and $6000 in payments, he said that he was done and wanted the last installment but steadfastly refused to let us see the plans prior to payment. We are not litigious people, so we just hired a different designer. The next thing I know I get a letter from a collection agency so we took him to small claims court and won and now he says he can’t pay us.
