Checked Angie's List and chose a company nearby, Phoned and gave information. Technician appeared, Checked furnace and thermostat and got furnace to heat. Later again failed to heat. Returned and found faulty circuit board in furnace. Replaced. Completed all work within 3 hours.

Incredibly response--owner came out at 7PM on day of first call because we had no heat!! Next day, an expert in our type of furnace came out and had the furnace working within 2 hours. Had to come again to tweak something, and was at my house within an hour of call. These guys definitely take customer service seriously and know their stuff. Pricing also very fair.

Working with Able Heating was an excellent experience. Kelly is great to work with and goes above and beyond to deliver a high quality product and exceptional service. On Christmas eve, we returned from several days away to find that our furnace was just blowing cold air. Kelly came back three times that day, the last time at around 5:30, to make sure that our furnace was working correctly. The problem was most likely due to the floors being refinished and clogging the burner jets but Kelly took care of it and didn't even charge us for the work. We would give him our highest recommendation!

We called Able for a A/C installation bid. Sales person arrived on time, although seemed more interested in our home than the A/C we wanted to install. Also spent a great deal of time trying to "sell" us on a heat pump, and did not check the electrical system to ensure capacity or voltage availability at installation site. We never received the bid or cost comparison to evaluate or proceed with work. The office staff who arranged the appointment were professional and courteous on the phone.

They are great. They are very accountable and responsible, and I have been very happy with them. I plan to call them again this year once the weather warms up.

Everything went very well. They're a good company. I will be calling them in the near future for an estimate on our new furnace.

The system again works fine. Kelly even offered to honor both the Angie's list coupon and the senior discount. Amazing professionalism! I positively will call him if another problem crops up.

Kelly was punctual in coming out to examine our problem. Explained what would be involved with the repair. Since the old unit was approaching the end of its life anyway, it seemed prudent to replace it with a more efficient model with a better design and easier to maintain. His crew worked the better part of a day in installation, cleaned up all the debris and hauled away the old units, and did a "walk through" of the new thermostat and filter maintenance of the unit. Service was performed in a professional manner. A certification company came out the next day to certify the unit for energy tax credits, and after some adjustments by Able Heating & Cooling, all systems were "go!" Able Heating and Cooling finished up by filling out paperwork for rebates and tax incentives and the units' warrenties.

Kelly and Jack are very conscientious and gave me a lot of information and costing for a heat pump and furnace. Unfortunately I received a better bid from another reputable company.

Our old furnance went out on Friday night. Called Able Saturday morning, and he was here within an hour. After checking out problem and advising me of options, I ordered a new furnace and filter, and they were installed the following Monday morning. A few days later a representative visited to check over work and give me tax forms to use in applying for tax credit. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Kelly and his co-worker were on time, very knowledgeable and professional. Completed the project in the time they estimated and then came back the next day for fine-tuning and to advise the contractor who was replacing the metalwork on the roof. I highly recommend this company and was very satisfied by their work and attention to detail and flexibility in quickly addressing the problem.

The project went without a hitch from start to finish. Kelley arrived at our home within 45 minutes of our call when our old furnace died. He evaluated the situation with our old furnace and laid out our options for fixing the old furnace or buying a new one. He was professional and highly knowledgeable, and also very amiable. We decided to buy a new high efficiency furnace and Kelley sent John out to do the work the next day. John was very pleasant and a good worker and the job was done by early afternoon. Kelley installed the thermostat himself to help us stay on schedule for an afternoon appointment. When we realized the new flue system would not allow us to hang our bikes where we needed to in the garage, Kelley came back to investigate. He realized the pipes needed to be re-routed and without complaint arranged for John to come back to do the work. When John came back, he patiently did the rerouting. We could not be happier. The whole job was done beautifully and to our expectations. The cost was right what we expected and due to the rebates, the value exceptional. We highly recommend Able Heating and Cooling and in fact will be using them in our business locations as well.

They answered our call right away and actually solved our furnace problem over the phone for free! We got the furnace up and running with their help. The guy was so friendly. He was very patient with me. Great service!

I am really impressed with the service they've provided me. I chose them because they were rated very high on Angie's List and I was impressed with some of the comments. They came a couple of weeks earlier to do a furnace repair that didn't last very long. I was really impressed with the guy who came, he really seemed to know what he was doing.

I had same day service and was given detailed pricing options and solutions. The serviceman went out of his way to pick up a needed part after hours and gave me additional services to make my aging furnace even more efficient. I will use this company again this summer when I purchase a new furnace and will recommend Able to my friends. Excellent service and I appreciate their integrity, knowledge, and hard work.

I used them because they had good ratings on Angie's List and were local. I think when you look at all the prices, everybody charges about the same. They are all A's; they were punctual to the minutes, very professional and responsive. I called them and they came out the next morning. I would use them again.

We are happy with it, it works! They came when they said they were going to and did what they said they were going to do. They were very straight forward about the work. They had financing available and worked out a good deal with us. They were out within an hour after we called. After that they had the new furnace running a day later. They also insulated the rest of the vents out in the garage. They offered us quotes on cleaning, notifying us that they use an outside company to do so.

It went just fine, there were no problems. The workers who came out were friendly and professional. I would use them again.

As far as I know, it was fine. I didn't have that much interaction with them. However, the furnace seems to be running fine and I haven't had any issues with the air flow.

It turned out really well. They were prompt and clean. They did what they said they were going to do and did the work quickly. I had two other companies that told me pretty much whatever I wanted to hear. Able's owner, told me there was no way a vent could be placed in my loft and took the extra step to check out things. It wasn't the answer that I wanted to hear but I'd rather hear it up front then be in the middle of a project and find it out.

Most recently they came out a couple of months ago for annual service on our furnace. They always come out right when they say they will.We've always had good luck with them and are very pleased with the work they do.

Wednesday night (11-4-09) we noticed the furnace not working, we went to Angie's list and via email and a call we contacted Able Heating and Cooling due to their awesome reports..... thanks Angie! The next day Leland showed up....very professional. Leland came in and got right to it, told me all the options I got. Gave me very good options for repair... but I was thinking replace due to the fact that the old furnace was 18 years+ old. No pressure, could have paid $380 to fix old furnace and been done.... but I wanted replacement options. The new high efficiency furnaces are super nice and the tax credits are very high right now. $2250 qualified rebates....off the $5200.00 We contacted Kelly Wilhite the owner to come in and go through all the new furnace options. In about an hour Kelly showed up... very impressive guy, wealth of experience and very trustworthy. What a great guy. Got a great vibe at the point of the handshake to the end of the job. Kelly was very professional, very organized and extremely knowledgeable. My new furnace furnace is a 97.7 efficient Coleman with the cool Air media cleaner/filter. Next morning (11-05-09) around 8:00 am..... New system is installed by Leland. Great job!!!! They were fair, on time, did everything like clockwork! Overall..... It could not be better. Both Kelly and Leland were great, I feel great about it. Cool folks, nice people with great products... Please Stop shopping other companies and go with Able!!!!

Leland came and went right to work, examined, cleaned and tested my furnace. He was very professional, very tidy and efficient. My furnace is working, but has a few elements gone. So I will get an estimate from them for a new furnace.

I was very pleased will all aspects. Able Heating offers various brands of heating products which represents a range of prices. These brands included: Rheem, Coleman (York, Johnson Controls) and others. Each brand has a price range based on your needs. They used a computer program to determine the size need for the central air system. The program took into account square footage, amount of windows and the high level of insulation found in the house. Based on my current low power use, they determined I would not benefit from a high efficient system. They then put together a range of solutions which included 2 manufacturers best suited to my needs. I picked the middle range Coleman solution for price and knowing they were made by Johnson Controls. They also helped me find the best place to install the outside condensing unit. They placed it out of way, where no one could see it or hear it in the back yard. I gave them half down. They came out the following Tuesday to install the system. They arrived at 7:30 am and started the process. I left for work. I tried to return early to see how things were going. But they had completed the job before I got home. Everything was installed neatly and professionally. The system worked perfectly. I am so pleased with their work and consideration to aesthetics, will use them to update my home and rental house heating in the future.
