Rocky Redmon Finishing

Description of Work: I had a redwood deck and steps built off our back door, along with a railing to connect to a second set of steps that he rebuilt. They turned out beautiful and are ROCK SOLID. I have no doubt the deck will be around for decades with very little maintenance. Rocky is an old-school perfectionist, who takes time to do it right. A rare quality these days. Yes, I received cheaper bids from other quick-and-dirty types of places, but Rocky set himself apart with his attention to detail, obvious knowledge, and suggestions on how to make the visual design unique and longer lasting. And decks aren't even his main focus - he is a painter first but does other construction projects as well. If he can build a deck like this, I can only imagine how great of a painter he is. All in all, this was a great project, with results that exceeded my expectations. I'm glad I chose Rocky, and I'll be looking him up again when it comes time to paint my house.

Description of Work: Sanded, prepped, cleaned and stained pine ceilings on front porch and carport.

Description of Work: I hired the company to paint trim for the house and some window installations.

Description of Work: Rocky and his painting sidekick, Sean, painted the exterior of my three-level home. Adding to the difficulty of the job is that my home is on a slope. Rather than pressure washing the house, they first sanded and washed every inch of the house before applying paint. Rocky also used a metal sander to sand down nail points in the overhangs that had likely been painted over and ignored since my home was built 32 years ago (and something that I would never have thought to ask him to do). In those areas needing it, they first applied a primer. Paint was then applied to the house. A contrasting shade was applied to the fascia, and the front door was given a bright fresh coat of red paint.
