Description of Work: The Navien Combo boiler/Hot water heater was exhausting heavy gas fumes. Keith diagnosed that the natural gas meter's regulator was faulty. We had the NW Gas replace the meter. Keith also provided valuable education for the on-demand system.

The heat pump was installed approximately one and one half years ago. Although this unit is supposedly under warranty and it failed because of a factory defect, the repairs cost me approximately $1000.00 and it was difficult convincing them to complete the work in a timely manner. The completed repairs appear to have been successful, but given my experience with this unit, I would not consider it reliable. If you want an unreliable heat pump, I recommend Carrier. If you want a warranty that covers only parts, I also recommend Carrier. The cost of this repair was very excessive. One person completed the job in a few hours. Prior to this problem, I had a very high opinion of this firm. Prior work was prompt and personnel were cordial. I did hear some minor complaints from their dispatching staff about making service calls to Elmira because of the distance from their office in Springfield.
Description of Work: Marshall's installed a new Carrier heat pump in my house as well as completing duct work and floor insulation. The work has included subsequent repairs to this unit. Several months ago, this unit failed. The service man stated the problem was defective equipment causing compressor failure. The unit has been repaired.
