JOSE'S YARD SERVICE LLC

Jose came on July 6th, to look at the job. He told me that they would use hoes to do a "deep" removal of roots. He gave me an estimate right then of $200, which I thought was a bit high, but I needed the job done, and based on the high reviews on Angie's List, I told him to schedule the job. He told me he would look at his schedule that night, and he would get back to me the following Monday. He didn't. I finally called him Tuesday night, and, of course, got excuses for why he hadn't called. Anyway, we agreed to do the job that Thursday, July 12. He and his crew arrived, as agreed. They spent several hours on the work, and upon completion, Jose took me around to examine the areas. The areas I needed cleared were free of vegetation, as desired. Jose asked for his pay right then, telling me that he'd mail me a receipt, which, to date, he has not done. I'm learning that men approach this sort of work in an expedient fashion. If they could use explosives, I believe that they would. I have spent the last 5 days cleaning up after Jose. I have also been removing roots that he and his crew apparently decided were better dealt with by covering them up, rather than actually pulling them out. When Jose took me on the post-work inspection, he told me that I should use herbicides to control plants in the areas that I had just paid $200 to have him "remove".

These guys just do a great job, they make even the little things look good. Our yard looks amazing. My wife was originally upset that we hired him for that much money, but now she takes back what she said.

This was a big job & Jose & his team were very professional & courteous. They arrived right on time & went right to work clearing myyard of all the weeds, old bushes, dead trees etc. They then put down new soil & installed sod. Jose did a beautiful & extremely thorough job. Not only would I recommend him to others but I was so pleased that I have hired him to be my gardner on a regular basis.

Called Jose and got immediate response from him. He came out promptly and gave me a reasonable bid on the job. I had a very overgrown Laurel hedge and the roof was very dirty. He came out when promised and quickly did the job. It looked great after he finished and the job was done very quickly. Do not hesitate to hire this company they are worth every penny. I will definetly hire them in the future.

We showed Jose what needed to be done. He was there in a couple days on time and started the process of cleaning out the sides of the yard, which included digging up some large rocks. The next day the rock arrived and Jose and his assistant moved the rock onto the ground covering he had laid the day before. They worked feverishly on a very hot day and got the job done right. Thanks Jose.

Everything went well. The hedge was a little shorter than I wanted, but that was probably a case of miscommunication on my part and I wasn't watching when he trimmed it.

They did an excellent job. Don't hesitate to call them!

We have a 1/4 acre lot, lots of flower beds & lawn. Jose came & bid the job, not cheap, had his 2 man crew there on time. They did a great job.

We had an excellent experience with this company whom we used to collect and haul away yard debris. Jose came out the day after our call to look at the work to be done and provided an estimate. He was punctual. Once we hired him, he and his workers returned 2 days later to perform the work. They were, again, punctual, worked quickly and efficiently. All of the tree branches, blackberry branches and cut grass were removed. They even cleaned off our deck as a bonus. Based on our experience, we can recommend this company without reservation.

Very prompt response to my call, timely arrival to provide estimate, job completed by the time he promised, very professional, and I was very pleased with the work his crew performed. Everything looked very tidy and they even mowed for me after I had said I could do that part!

Called to schedule an estimate, he never showed up, I called him and he stated that he got tied up on another job, and we rescheduled for another day. The day that he scheduled to come out, he again never showed up, I called him again, he stated he forgot.....I did not hire him, and would not hire him after that.

Jose called me right back, scheduled a time to come over and look at the work. He looked at the work to be done on Tuesday and told me he could complete it by Friday of the same week. He did all the work he promised and then some. Even mowing the lawn "Just because" I would HIGHLY recommend his service and will use him again! Thanks for the fantastic Job!!! ~R~

Jose provided me with an estimate on March 16, and he and his crew did the work on March 18. They did a beautiful job! Everything looks absolutely wonderful! I am very impressed with the speed of their response for an estimate and how quickly they scheduled the work. I highly recommend this company.

I called Jose on a Wednesday. He came out that same day for the free estimate and scheduled to do the work on that Friday. I hesitated to spend the money as I am physically capable of doing the work but it was a daunting task with lots of detail work. He arrived promptly with a crew of three men and planned the day's cleanup. The men were very professional and worked very hard. The work was IMPECCABLE. Had I worked nonstop for weeks, I never would have achieved the results they did. I was extremely thrilled with the work: my lawn is beautifully edged, the extensive bark is completely weed free, and all bushes, hedges, ferns and plants are expertly trimmed. I asked to have a small tree relocated as an add-on and Jose didn't even charge for it (of course I insisted on paying some extra though)! I was so impressed with the work, the BARGAIN price, their promptness and professionalism that I signed on for weekly service. What a wonderful luxury! I live in an upscale neighborhood and I now have one of the best looking yards even though most are serviced by landscapers!

We work out of town for weeks at a time, and while we were away our first yard person quit, unfortunately he didn't inform us that he quit. So when we returned home our yard was so overgrown it looked more like a hay field than a yard. We were having a family backyard Halloween party in three days. I called Jose's service and left a message requesting an astimate. Jose returned my call within an hour, came to our home the next day to check out the job, his workers did all the work that afternoon. Great Work!!! We have now hired his service to come avery other week.

Jose and his crew worked fast and were able to do an enormous amount of work quickly. The results were fantastic. He was prompt in coming out to give a bid, started the work when he said he would and finished quickly.

Jose returned my inquiry call the same day. He came out within a couple of days and provided an estimate. The work was completed within a couple days after that. He runs a very responsive and reliable business. I'm very happy with the results and the quality of their work.

Very well except there was a miscommunication on how short the tree trimming to be done. Otherwise, the people worked very quickly and cleaned up afterward.

I orignally hired Jose's Yard Service last Spring to get my yard cleaned up and in shape for the season. Jose and his crew did a fantastic job. My yard looked so good when they were done that I actually hugged him. I then hired them to maintain the yard. They come every other week like clockwork to mow and edge the front and back yard. If I need weeding or planting I just call and when they come to mow they do the extra that was requested and bill accordingly. My yard always looks great now and I think the service is very affordable. I have recommended this company to many people and they have all had similar reviews.

I was incredibly impressed with Jose and his team. Two men were here from 8:00 am till 2:00 pm, and they worked constantly. They were careful around bulbs that are just coming up, and they did a great job on my driveway, which was covered with wet leaves, moss, and general organic debris from the trees that line it. They had all the power tools--mowers, leaf-blowers, chain saws--so it was a noisy 6 hours, but my yard looks fantastic now. I couldn't be more pleased with it. Jose told me he has run his business since 2001, and his knowledge and experience show.

My wife and I are very pleased with the job that was performed. Jose gave us an estimate the day I called. The work was performed the next day at the estimated cost. We will be using Jose again in the future.
